The movie its referencing, "Soylent Green", is about a company turning human corpses into wafers and feeding it to the lower class, with the earth being overpopulated and massively uninhabitable.

So why would Clumby scold us? Unless I'm mistaken, we do our research thoroughly, and neither of our prior articles relate to bugsnax or Snaxtooth Island, so why would she hide the truth? Is the government that big a threat?

So grumpbeard is a play on Blackbeard,so by all accounts they would probably have black fur.

And the snakolytes are made of the "followers and descendants of grumpbeards crew"

Which means there's a non-zero chance that Alegander is in fact a direct descendant of Grumpbeard themself.

I just had an interesting bugsnax au idea

An au where Snorpy is kidnapped by the Snakolytes, and is injected with something called bugsnax concentrate (sort of like a fruit concentrate) and he's slowly turning into a bugsnak, and both Floofty and Chandlo are searching for him. Mind you I got this all from a dream, why is it so detailed?!

This is Joolinan Wispmitten, one of the Squadron Leaders of the Armada Assimilation Glulg (name of the squadrons), and definitely someone you don't want to cross paths with...

Her first appearance was in Chapter 4 of Journey's End, "Waking Up", reporting into the sad coffee prisoner/dad, Alegander Jamfoot himself, and was trained under the rather ruthless Haahumbro Chucklebait, the Elder and Head of the AAG.

I’m not sure if they count more as a character than an in-universe representation of myself, but oh well :)

Netteleous (pronounced Ne-tel-i-us) or Netty for grumps who don’t want to say the whole thing. They are a infiltration specialist and part-time cashier at a thrift shop which is the place they get most the clothes for disguises. The amount of times they have been able to just walk into a place to gather info by looking the part is astonishing. It’s how they got inducted into the snakolytes anyway.

They have a little millimochi companion bc I think the idea that snakolytes all have a little bugsnak companions is adorable
