As a fellow Acts of Service giver, perhaps the Healer thing comes from people not viewing it as instant healing, spellwork/etc, but Healer like doctor/nurse. That's the vibes I get when people equate the two. At least some people, there's always the weirdos. I'm a little old, and grew up in a home that didn't have a gaming system so my idea of a Healer is that nurse/doctor thing again so that's where my mind instantly goes. The place a weary traveler can go to rest and gear up and such.

i guessssssssss that just seems like no matter what it wouldnt be as fun as nursing someone back to health the old fashioned way... i dunno. healing just seems like such the antithesis of everything i am in every possible regard xD
