it's so sweet and really lovely that a guy who doesn't get a lot of shine in the game like Hancock is someone Kikyo can really cherish!!!! and it's so nice, maybe a little unexpected, like it makes me think 'she's had a hard life... but she's doing well and she's happy!' Lucky guy!!
Awee, thank you so much sweet bean! I really wanted to give this a shot, it is different than what I usually would do for a pairing since these two are quite the opposites.
He is the type that would most likely take advantage of the situation before him, and she is aware that others would attempt to do the same in order to get close to her father. Regardless of such, Kikyo patiently listens to his banter, and keeps him company, while acknowledging that she is merely being used for his means, though a part of her hopes that he comes to place value in a friendship and spends time with her in earnest.
She has had a difficult life, as most refugees that fled the war and invasion of their lands, regardless of such painful events and the hardships she endured while struggling to push forward, Kikyo remains to be of a kind heart and willing to accept others, not passing judgment so quickly or eagerly. That makes her interaction with him interesting because although they have their own objectives, she simply wants to befriend him.
Though will he come around and warm up to her as he spends time with her, come to learn that there are different facets of the woman he is scheming against? Or will he continue his efforts and deny himself.

Another moment on the roof.
Perhaps going up on the roof when it appeared dangerously close to raining wasn’t the wisest idea, but Miyu climbed their way up for a breath of air. They couldn’t see many stars through the thick array of clouds, but the glorious gleam of a full moon was unmistakable. Carefully, Miyu laid back on the roof, and they turned their eyes to the celestial body. Maybe the longer they stared into the white light, the more it could drown out everything else in their mind.
Tofu briefly considered going to his other usual spot to think, but Miyu had mentioned the roof before, and that was starting to sound really appealing. He climbed the stairs beside the house and swung over the railing down to the edge of the roof easily, a motion he’d done many times before. He looked down from the top of the domed area on the sides and caught sight of a familiar Miqo, as promised. Softly, he made his way over, settling beside them and propping himself up with his elbows.
The moon simply couldn’t hold Miyu’s stare. The moment they heard movement, they propped themself up on the balls of their hands and looked to the Viera that came to join them. The gloom that had stuck to their features the whole day vanished in that moment, a gleam of delight in their eyes and a little smile budding at rosy lips.
“I’m glad you’re here,” they greeted Tofu in what they presumed was a casual manner, as they didn’t want to express just how surprised they really were that he had come to show up tonight.
“You did say to come, did you not?” he said, and though he tried to have some warmth to his tone, there was a lot on his mind that kept his tone and expression neutral. He glanced over at them, reaching over and brushing a strand of hair out of their face.
“I did. But you also have a lot of responsibilities, and I’m sure… a lot on your mind.” Miyu averted their gaze, but found themself leaning into the hand that brushed their hair by a fraction. “You’ve been… far. And you can take your time, and I can wait from a distance. But I guess I’ve missed you.”
Miyu furrowed a brow as they stared out to the horizon. A chill went across their skin as they recalled recent events, and what was fast approaching. They brought their knees up close, curling up within themself.
“So much on the mind,” they mumble, distantly.
“Indeed, a lot on the mind… Sorry if I made you worry. I’m right here,” Tofu murmured softly.
“You don’t need to apologize to me for that,” Miyu responded with a faint sigh, head giving a little shake. “I am… really happy to see you, though.”
Tofu sat up straighter, leaning forward to rest an arm on his knee. “I got…somewhat of a gist of things from Kore and Virgil. Soon, yeah? I’m sure that’s…a lot to get ready for and not enough time. But… Well, we’re right here. No matter what happens, I’ll be right there, and you’ll be alright, I promise.”
He reached out and put his hand on their far shoulder, pulling them to lean against him. Even if he couldn’t get his expression and tone to listen, his body could still be comforting, he hoped. He leaned his head against theirs.
“I’ll be right there…”
Miyu’s features tensed when Tofu brought up the looming matters at hand. They didn’t say anything about it for a long while, instead just leaning into the hold as they reflected. They turned their face towards the hand on their shoulder, lips pressed to his knuckles in a lingering peck of thanks.
“I know. I trust you. Everything will be taken care of,” they say, turning their head back towards him.
“And that… is something I fear I will be afraid of. Last night, I had… dreams. With him. And I regretted everything. I have every right to… to… turn the guy into ground beef, you know? But what if I regret this? Change my mind at the last moment?” Miyu lamented quietly. “A lot to get ready for. And I fear I’ve hardly processed anything. I’ve heard I’m not reliable, but this is…” they scoff.
Tofu grew quiet as he listened to them. Admittedly, he had far fewer reservations about killing the man than Miyu seemed to, so he couldn’t relate, but he could attempt to assure them, at least.
“...If you hesitate, I’ll be right there to remind you why we’re there.” He met their eyes evenly.
“I know…you’re set on taking his head yourself, so I’ll do whatever it takes to remind you what this is all for. And only if that fails, will I step in for you. But…I promise I’ll give you the opportunity if you still want it,” he said, realizing once more that his choice of words might be less comforting and more concerning.
Miyu went still when Tofu’s eyes met their own, and they held both their gaze and their breath as they listened to every word. A shaky sigh of relief escaped them, and they leaned their forehead against Tofu’s.
“Thank you, my dear Tofu. I am fortunate to choose you.” Gently, they rested a hand on his cheek, thumb brushing against the slope of his cheekbone. “I do adore you.”
He leaned gently into them as they leaned against him, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. He had to focus on the business with the pirates, or he’d fall apart. But… For the time being, he wanted to savour the moment. Even if he didn’t have an answer yet, even if he didn’t understand anything yet…
Miyu’s eyes flickered over Tofu’s face, admiring the long lashes that twitched at the crescent of his closed eyes, just above the dashes of freckles along his cheeks. They were quiet for a long moment as they admired him. Their eyes lowered to his lips, and a thought came to mind.
“I believe… we all need a little extra luck. No matter how certain something is… there’s no harm in some extra luck.” Miyu inched closer, but made no contact. “When the time comes, when you are ready, when you need... I have a good luck kiss ready just for you.”
He could feel their breath ghost across his face as they inched closer, the scent of mint lingering. He remembered what happened with Kore and panic set in as he sat up straight again, looking away as a blush crept across his face. He really didn’t understand those two… Yet he didn’t stand up. He tried to will his panic to subside, but his breaths came out shallow. With effort, he drew in a few deep, shaky breaths, and though his breathing returned to normal, his heart still pounded in his chest.
“S-sorry,” he murmured.
Miyu kept their body language relaxed to hide their concern. They drew their head back an inch, but didn’t move away entirely just yet. Rather, they kept a gentle smile on their face to try and reassure that everything will be okay.
“You’re fine, dear — there’s nothing to apologize for. No rush, and no pressure. I’ll be here for you as long as you need,” they softly remarked, before they finally leaned their body back again. They brushed some hair from his face, then dropped their hand.
“Oh! And I have something for you!” Miyu remarked, casually moving on as they turned to the basket they had brought up with them.
They hadn’t been certain if Tofu would come up to join them tonight, but they had brought it just in case. Miyu presented to him a bouquet of dandelions and forget-me-nots, the bundle of flowers tied together by a pale lavender ribbon.
He stared at the flowers for a while in surprise, then up at their smile. For a moment, he was quiet, but slowly, a smile crossed his features as a gentle laugh escaped his lips. There was something like relief in his eyes, though he wouldn’t be able to tell anyone why. He looked down, burying his face in both hands as he felt…was that the sting of tears? He hadn’t cried in years, but he was just…so relieved that he hadn’t hurt them by pulling away so abruptly.
“Thank you,” he murmured.
Miyu’s lips parted in a quiet awe as they listened to the faint melody of his laugh, hanging onto each note like they did when they listened to him up on the stage. They watched him again for a long moment. With his face buried away in his hands, they couldn’t see any signs of tears to come.
“My pleasure,” they say, gently placing it on his lap. “I do apologize, however, for making it that you have to give Daen Lad another trip for some flora. If you’d like, I can bring it to them… though I think they are also starting to like you now, hm?”
He lowered his hands to lift the flowers, revealing a gentle smile as the fingertips of one hand brushed softly over the blooms. He would have to have these preserved, for sure. His shoulders relaxed and he turned his smile towards Miyu.
“I’ll treasure these.”
Perhaps something shifted, or the clouds had cleared. The stars regained their brilliance again that night.

8, 12, 14 for anthea and hythlodaeus!!
Okay technically they never have a wedding because there wasn't much of a need but that doesn't matter because I have thought of it so many times over! I love imagining their potential wedding.....would love to gpose it one day.....anyway! please note there are some visual spoilers with the videos i linked for EW
8. Was there any drama whatsoever regarding the guest list?
Yes and no. See they were perfectly fine inviting the core group of people and making it small, others (not naming names but their starts with a D) made it known around people that felt they were entitled to witness it (mostly researchers and those that worked with convocation members and members of the convocation themselves). Why? No one knows all the reasons but a few wanted to see if Emet-Selch was going to be a grump through it all still, which I can't blame them.
12. Do either of them play music while walking down the aisle (if they do at all)? If yes, show us their song.
Okay now I need you to know I did not pick the names of the songs you can take that up with SE. But there are two songs that would play, one as Anthea is walking down the aisle and one as the couple leave the ceremony or even play softly in the background while they read out their vows and we're all crying in the audience. These two songs are also what start and end their playlist so if you need any further proof of them being perfect for them its right there!
The song that would play as Thea walked down the aisle is the night time theme when in elpis and it has always been such a Thea song since I first heard it after they became an idea. Its got a melancholy feel but bits of light throughout and it just is that perfect kind of tempo to walk down an aisle for.
youtube
Now the song that would play either during the ceremony/reading vows or as they left is one that's called Heartbloom and yes its another name for the elpis flower but like its just such a nice sending off song or something to go in the background of them claiming their love to all their friends and family. like it is just so! !!!
(its not actually an hour long i just want you all to witness the adorable bird child)
14. Do they follow any familiar, cultural, and/or religious traditions at any point of the wedding?
As far as I'm aware there isn't anything cultural for the Ancient society when it comes to weddings and the like. I do believe they (the couple) would do speeches of those closest to them, trust me you have never seen Emet get close to getting choked up than during that speech. And for sure those two would do the cake cutting with the stuffing cake of the other's face and making a small game of it! I also would honestly love to see them do the traditional garter toss, yes the one where no hands are used to remove it. Frankly my fantasy wedding for them so they do and its fun and its purposely tossed to land in Emet's hand because of Iris or Laha catches it and there's a sigh because he's not going to tempt marriage number 2. But yeah there isn't much and any traditions would be the ones we have here with the rule being "If its fun its gonna be done."

Faded Spark - miqomarch 2022 day 3 ‘love’
(a/n: I was looking forward to MiqoMarch as a fun gpose thing for the month, but honestly, the first few prompts haven’t inspired much in me. I’d like something with a bit more to dig into :’D But the day 3 prompt for “love” did give me ideas, albeit more of the written kind. So I wrote a lil ficlet.
More on the bittersweet side of love - love that fades and the spark no longer being there after so much time passes and you feel like a different person after your experiences. Too different to be with the other person, despite how things might’ve felt at the start.
Fhara may have had puppy love crush feelings for Aymeric, and they may have been mutual, but the feelings faded with all she ended up doing, going so far and focusing on so many other problems that when she finally had a moment to think on it, she found she didn’t feel the same as she did before. The realisation can hurt...
I’m well aware I haven’t done any other wolshipping writings before :’’D I did Ache as part of ffxivwrite back in 2020 (which is referenced in this piece here), but even that one wasn’t so much a shipping fic and more just lamenting having to pause their possible relationship and hope for a chance in the future...which this fic kinda squashes completely :’) But that’s still only two fics without any real shipping content.
I might backfill eventually, but right now, my mind wants to do Endwalker focused pieces, and often those are wrap ups and finales kinda, even tho I haven’t set up those endings. I’ll backfill the feelings someday ;-;)
A hearty meal, friendly chatter and a roaring fire - twas almost an identical picture to their last dinner spent together. Almost, were it not for the smaller differences - Fhara’s attire more suitable for a fine dinner with a lord rather than quickly thrown together from whatever she could find from the Fortemps’ stores, as well as an ease upon her person as she ate, comfortable in the knowledge that one of her companions wasn’t laying dying in the infirmary.
No, in the aftermath of every Ascian being cast permanently into the lifestream, temperings and summonings coming to a gradual halt across the land, and the Final Days averted, she had every reason to relax and enjoy the newfound peace. Or even a meal with a companion, one that had been cut short before.
Indeed, the conversation had flowed as freely as the wine in Ser Aymeric’s cup, although he remained eloquent as ever as he plied her with more questions of her adventures and heroic deeds, ever numerous had they grown since their last dinner. Fhara had no need of alcohol to ease any nerves or to let her words come out easily - she’d never had a taste for the drink anyway.
Grand descriptions of Yanxia’s mist swirled mountains and the colourful Hannish bazaars from their own world, or the all the more extraordinary sights of the First such as Lakeland’s purple forests, Il Mheg’s pixie flowered valleys and the towering canopies of the Greatwood. Every tale further enraptured Aymeric, till his face was a picture of stunned childlike glee at the first mention of the moon and the very stars beyond.
“By the Fury’s Grace,” he whispered, still astounded at the many tales Fhara had to offer him. He took a sip of wine before he could continue, “You have travelled so far across this world and even many others, beyond our own star even, and yet you still have more to see. The sights you’ve seen could fill many a bard’s song list till well into the night in any tavern and still have songs unsung by night’s end. It’s incredible…would you forgive me if I said I was a touch envious?” Fhara flushed at the overwhelming praise, taking a sip of her water to cool herself.
“I wouldn’t want to sound as though I’m bragging, since your responsibilities keep you here in Ishgard minding the city. Much of the transition is still ongoing of course, and that needs your full attention,” she said quickly.
“Nay, not at all. I did ask after all. I simply didn’t expect your adventures to have been quite so numerous since we last met, nor so fantastical either. But a fantastic tale is all the more fitting for one of your incredible talents.” He gave her a light smile across the table, which she returned. Yet as Aymeric turned to request a fresh glass from the servant, and a maid collected their finished plates to prepare for dessert, Fhara’s mind turned over his words.
Since they had last met…how long ago was that now? Traversing through snowy Coerthas and up into the very heavens themselves, conversing and battling with dragons…it all felt like it had been years ago. Reasonably it had maybe been one year at most…a few months at least, given how skewed her sense of time had become since everything had started upon her setting foot in Eorzea. Everything was such a rush nowadays, from one crisis to the next.
But regardless of how much time had passed, she couldn’t help but feel different. Not so much changed that she would call herself a vastly different person. But compared to the Fhara that had sat at that very same table before, enjoying a pleasant meal before they were interrupted…Fhara could safely say that that girl was a different person. At least with regards to her dinner companion.
Back when she’d first met the Lord Commander, it’d been like a strike to the heart, instantly smitten by his handsome features and silken hair and his finely decorated armour to accentuate his stature. She found herself a jittery blushing mess in his presence; full glad was she then that Alphinaud or Haurchefant often did the talking in those meetings, she just had to stand there and let her title speak for her, and then later let her actions speak for her title.
His dedication, steady command, fiery determination for justice and the moral right – he was a good man, and Fhara had fallen easily. She considered it a blessing from the Twelve above when it seemed the feeling may have been mutual, a spark of joy in the midst of their struggles and losses at that time. Even at that original dinner, she’d been a flustered mess, trying so hard to remain calm and follow dining etiquette she barely knew, sitting in a dress she wasn’t comfortable with–
She still remembered her own internal chiding as she welcomed him to join her on an adventure, despite knowing how busy he was. Although that gleeful smile almost made it worth it, even as he clearly reined himself in and downplayed his excitement. Of course, any chance for response was cut off by the emergency with Alisaie at that time, but that lingering hope…the possibility was there, perhaps?
They had a second chance at another dinner, after Ala Mhigo had been reclaimed. After that terrifying close encounter with Lakshmi. Many of the Scions had insisted upon her taking a well deserved break, after all Fhara had been through and done with aiding in the freedoms of two nations. A relaxing break by the beach, a chance to explore without her linkshell buzzing away in her ear…another dinner, in a snowy city.
At that time, despite having travelled halfway across the world and fought on the frontlines yet again, she bit her tongue on her own tales, insisted on hearing of his own work in the city. It was a pleasant night. Despite so much time apart with their own duties, the sparks were still there. Yet Fhara knew how people talked - about her as a grand hero, and him as a noble leader, and how busy they both were. At the time, it left her with a nervous stirring, wondering just how they could be together with their various responsibilities, and her own work putting her in ever more dangerous scrapes.
She knew…and it was enough to make her step back. Clinging to hope that someday once the dust had settled, she could sit across from him at a table again and feel that same spark, and maybe finally let her feelings take over and have some happiness with another person.
And yet here she was, and she wasn’t the blushing little kitten she was before. Any heat upon her face was either from the fire in the room or at idle praise he would give her throughout her storytelling. There was no stirring in her chest as he cast looks toward her from over the rim of his glass, no sweaty palms or twitching tails. He was still a very handsome man, she could acknowledge that much but after so long–
Going to another world entirely, caught up in the worry of almost losing her closest and dearest friends, sharing idle chatter with a figment in her room who seemed to give her the same churning sensation in her breast as Aymeric did before, the rush to defeat the Lightwardens and then return the Scions’ souls to their bodies safely–
The heightened fear and tension in facing Zenos reborn, the sheer gravitas of travelling across time and the entirety of space, the end of the entire world and every one of its shards hanging in the balance, relying on her to survive and succeed lest everything she held dear crumble and perish, and not once did he cross her mind while she was many millions of malms away at the other end of the stars…
“Is aught amiss?” She jumped in her seat, ears pricked with surprise at Aymeric’s sudden question.
“Huh?”
“My apologies. Dessert was delivered a few minutes ago, yet you seem to be elsewhere,” he frowned, concern in his eyes. “Is it something you would care to talk about? Or would you rather not?” She stared back long and hard, her tongue like stone in her mouth. She took up her spoon and scooped a piece of soft cream tart into her mouth. Despite her lack of response, Aymeric didn’t move to continue his own food. He waited, until she swallowed, and after a sip of water, finally found her voice.
“Nothing’s wrong, but…I think I’ll leave now. I’m sorry.”
“Not at all,” he insisted, rushing to his feet quicker than Fhara herself seemed to move. He already sent off a servant to fetch her coat, leading her to the door of his manor. The speed at which he guided her had them arrive before the servant, leaving them waiting. Silent other than the ticking of the clock in the foyer. Elsewhere in another room, the muffled chiding of a maid passed through the walls, something about a “furry feline thinking she has run of the house”.
Fhara couldn’t help a wistful smile at the sound of the comment - mayhap at another time, if she’d been more confidant…or in another life entirely, without the stress and strains of her life as it was, she would’ve been some “furry tailed missy” giving the staff grief. But then, given what she’d been through and who she’d met and come to love as friends and family, she didn’t know if she’d want that other life. She wouldn’t trade her life as it was for the world. Even if at that moment, she was keenly aware of an aching loss in her chest.
Not the loss of love, but more the feeling that she didn’t realise it sooner, and perhaps she could’ve prevented this moment, standing in a hallway leaving a man unrequited after so long of waiting.
“I’m sorry,” she said again, however Aymeric jumped in quickly, responding, “You have nothing to apologise for. I am sorry if I perhaps made you feel put out during our discussions.”
“No, you didn’t,” Fhara said firmly, taking a deep breath to steady herself.
“I think…it's been too long for me,” she admitted. The implication was immediately understood; his face shifted into a quiet resignation. He nodded.
“I see. Perhaps if we had tried sooner, would it have changed anything?” he asked. Fhara’s ears flattened against her head. She’d already thought of that several times.
“Perhaps…but I’m the one that insisted we try again in the future, once all was said and done. That’s why I’m sorry. I made you wait, and yet now, I can’t give you anything.”
He gently took her hand and squeezed her fingers.
“You have no need to give me anything. Myself or anyone else in the world, not after all you have achieved for the sake of our safety and peace.” The kind word brought a flicker of her tail and a small smile. The servant finally arrived with her coat in hand, breaking the pair apart. The door was opened, the Coerthan chill wind rushing through immediately. Fhara tightened the coat around her and stepped out.
In a final rush, Aymeric followed after her and grabbed her hand once more.
“Could we,” he started, evidently blustered by both the cold of the night and their imminent parting, “perhaps…could we do dinner again someday?” Fhara looked back, her eyes shiny with unshed tears.
And quietly, that only he might hear, she said, “Perhaps not for the two of us.” Her hand slipped from his grip and she walked on into the city. The lord watched her leave, disappearing into the dark, till even her footprints had been covered by falling snow, removing the final trace of Fhara from the night.

Jay’s GPose/Studio Guide
I get asked for this pretty frequently - be it friends and FC mates or randos here.  So here’s a Super Generic Guide for GPose, GShade, and Studios.  This will be a long, image-heavy post.  Venture forward at your own risk!! -- or just, y’know, click Keep Reading below.
Tumblr media
First off, I’m not a professional at this.  There are plenty of people who do screenshoting better than I do.  I just think it’s fun and neat.  I have a super brief history/introductory to photography (thanks, art school), so what I know is super basic.  Still, that knowledge can be applied in-game, too.  So lets take a crack at this.
The Studio(s)
My studio is my apartment.  You can find it on Mateus in The Mist; Ward 13, Apartment 41.  I have three set-ups: multi-purpose black background (no lights), multi-purpose white background (optional lights), and a portrait background (optional lights). The apartment is set to 0 Lighting.  Why?  Because this allows me to control the individual lights and adjustments in GPose itself.  Those bright-white background shots are done in this room.  It’s just a simple matter of knowing your lighting (and GShade presets).  We’ll get to that.
The layout:
All three set-ups are here and positioned in such a way to not interfere/bother each other.  Unless you’re intentionally turning your camera in that direction, you should never see the other set-ups.  If you need to turn your camera, consider just ... turning your character.
Tumblr media
An example of the Black Background with generic left, center, and right Lighting settings:
Tumblr media
Same background, close up, and lights adjusted:
Tumblr media
Below is the Multi-Purpose White background with dragon lamps for extra, albeit minimal lighting effects.  This is without any Lighting Settings turned on.
Tumblr media
Same picture, but with all Lighting Settings turned on and adjusted:
Tumblr media
Now let’s slap a GShade preset on it and change the camera angle.  Voila.
Tumblr media
GShade Presets & You
GShade is a variant of ReShade, much like Stormshade and other post-processing injectors.*  I originally used Stormshade, but moved on to GShade as they constantly update their presets/shaders and the software is easy to install.  And they have loads more presets readily available.
Presets and shaders can be really taxing on your system, so I highly recommend keeping certain shaders to a minimum for gameplay purposes.  For screenshots, go ham -- just make sure your system can handle it.
For example, I only use Colourfulness.fx and Vibrance.fx for regular gameplay.  This boosts the color quality of the game and removes that dull, muted tone.
For screenshots, I will turn on a variety of shaders or pick one of the many, many presets made by the community.  (I’m a big fan of Espresso Glow and use it pretty frequently.)
Here is a standard picture with Colourfulness and Vibrance turned on.
Tumblr media
And here it is without any shaders:
Tumblr media
You can find GShade here: https://gposers.com/gshade/
* “Is ReShade/GShade allowed by SE?” Post-processing injectors are NOT considered cheating “software”.  It does NOT give you any advantage over the game none whatsoever.  It simply enhances your graphics.  That’s it.  However, as with all software, install and use at your discretion.  (Also you’re not likely to get picked for any SE screenshot contests due to advantage/unfairness to PS4 users.)
Setting the MOOD
So now that you have a rough idea of what to do and use for your options, here’s some example screenshots taken with and without presets.

Don’t like studios?  Get creative with the landscape.  There’s plenty of beautiful places to visit over Eorzea to get the perfect background.  Sometimes a lovely landscape can make all the difference in what you want in a screenshot.  Crop, rotate, and adjust for size and angle -- do whatever looks best to you.

Some Q & A (AKA Stuff That People Ask)
Q: What about Mods? A: I like mods, I obviously use them.  However, I won’t go into detail for those.  It’s like opening a can of worms and the last thing I need is to hear: “Well, Jay said to install them!” -- I never did.  I will never tell you to use mods.  Mods can break your game and SE doesn’t support them to begin with.  I’ve had mods brick my game on three occasions now.  It’s very at-your-own-risk.  And just like ACT, you don’t talk about it/them openly, especially in game.
Q: Do you use the CMTool/Screenshot tool? A: I don’t.  Truth be told, I haven’t bothered because I don’t have much time to learn and fiddle with it regularly. Just like how I don’t do my own mods, I simply don’t have the time, much less willpower to commit.  I try to make work with what I got.  Or draw.  Lol.
Q: My screenshots aren’t saving the image as it appears! A: Never use the Print Screen button.  ReShade/GShade has a setting for taking screenshots.  Set a keybinding (not Print Screen!) for it and use that.  Alternatively, use programs like Fraps or whatever.  (I use Fraps because it’s useful for all games and brief recording purposes.)
Tumblr media
Q: Do you use post-editing software? A: Yes, I have access to Photoshop.  I can crop, rotate, and color-adjust any picture I need to.  You can do the same with Windows Photos, but the rotation and crop can be a little dense.
Q: Can I use/visit your Studio? A: Absolutely.  There’s just two simple rules: - Be patient if someone else is there. - Don’t be a dick and harass others. If I find someone being an absolute ass, I will lock it down.

Illya + Yotsuyu
LOVE Yotsuyu to death, don’t get me wrong. I just don’t know how much ‘friend’ they can put into friendship if it even is possible for them. I’d like to think there’s possibilities for that, though.. since it was shown when she got her memories back after living as Tsuyu, she showed genuine regret and sadness over her actions. I will never get over that ‘i will not suffer his kindness, not after what i’ve done to him’ scene okay just slay me on the spot. Same could possibly be said for Illya since we all know she’s such an incredibly gentle and forgiving person... provided Yotsuyu proves that she’s not a threat anymore, at least.
It’s difficult to really convince myself of a timeline where Yotsuyu just.. magically gets over years of abuse and trauma and quits her plans for revenge.. but in an ideal world where Yotsuyu survives and is willing to change and continues to live with maybe Gosetsu, then yeah definitely Illya would try to befriend her. There’d probably be something of resistance on Yotsuyu’s part, but like with Gosetsu, seeing someone she once saw an enemy treat her so kindly would probably sting her conscious a little. I’ve got a lot of ideas on how that may turn out and how Yotsuyu’s life with Gosetsu would be like if she did survive but I’ll probably save that for another post to ramble in... if anyone even cares that is.
Illya + Hien
GSKGJSIOGJI God okay.. So during Stormblood I definitely got the feeling that Hien was constantly trying to flex and show off to Illya.. Though I didn’t get any sense it was from romantic intent of flirting. I think Hien just really wants to look cool in front of a known hero ajdfnsujfnsf, even more so if he knows it’s one of Kirishimi’s most trusted friends. Gotta make a good impression somehow.
Hien being as friendly and as much of a bro he is got Illya to open up a little more quickly to him than she did with most other people, and she definitely looks up to him being a prince who must have so many responsibilities and he clearly has a strong sense of justice and charisma.
There’s also the fact that Hien likes to..compete with Illya somehow. Racing to see who can kill the most rampaging mobs? Competing to see who collects the most beans within a certain time? There’s no sense or reason to make everything a contest but he just does, and maybe he does it to get Illya out of her shell a little more.
And most importantly Illya is just... genuine. She’s pure and incredibly good-natured, which is rare these days. He confides in her a lot when it comes to his past, his worries about the responsibilities he has to shoulder and of course later on, one of the few people he asks advice from when it comes to Kiri.
Illya + Hilda
MY GIRL HILDA AAAAAAAA What a wonderful character we really need more of her please. I don’t think they’d be SUPER close as friends, but definitely close enough to be able to hang out once in a while while Illya drops by Ishgard.
Their relationship started out somewhat tense at first though it’s been a while since i played hw so i can’t remember the exact details of their first meeting. And Hilda’s more forward and domineering personality definitely caused Illya to b wary and scared of her at first... ESPECIALLY since this is Heavensward Illya, who is arguably at her most emotionally vulnerable and meek in life.
But as Hilda proved to be a reliable ally later on, I think Illya would open up a little more enough to not shrink away when they meet. It probably wouldn’t be until after the Stormblood though that Illya would probably consider Hilda a friend.
Hilda’s also one of those who was acutely aware of Alphinaud’s growing feelings for Illya and constantly bugs them about it.
