"i like you.." yeonjun slurs as you deposit him on the couch, cat eyes half-lidded and unfocused, limbs sprawled out everywhere-- you giggle, push his hair back, pretend he doesn't give you butterflies when his head lolls back and he gives you a lazy grin. "you're drunk." you shake your head, turn to the kitchen to get yeonjun some water, but the boy stops you with a drawn-out whine; "nooo, don't go, i mean it! i like you so much, you're so pretty, we should get married,," "i'm sorry?" you turn back to face him and laugh, cheeks heating up against your will-- you couldn't take a word yeonjun said right then seriously-- "we should get married," yeonjun repeated happily, already half-asleep just sitting on the sofa. "i'll be a good husband, just for you... i'll tell you i love you every day..."

soobin -> take my jacket

"are you cold?" soobin asks gently, frowning as he took in the way you were shaking like a leaf-- you hadn't bothered to grab a coat before agreeing to walk to the convenience store with him, not expecting the dark seoul streets to be this chilly... "i'm okay," you insist, wrapping your arms tight around your middle. "no you're not-- here," soobin scoffs, quick to shrug off his puffy jacket and drape it over your shoulders, "you can wear my jacket as long as you promise to give it back." you opened your mouth to protest, but the words caught in your throat-- soobin's coat was warm, engulfed you completely, and smelled just like him. you felt so cozy and small, wrapped up and surrounded by soobin... "thank you," you mumble into the coat instead, blushing furiously. "you're welcome-- you could catch a cold, you know. you need to be more careful." soobin was quick to hide his face, turning away to look out at the street, but you could see his red ears from a mile away.

beomgyu -> kissing in the rain

"beomgyu, i--" "shut up," he cuts off, diving in to capture your lips with his-- the height difference made you dizzy, beomgyu's deft fingers tilting your head up to face the pouring sky, protected from the rain only by his body melding against your own... it was raining so hard it was difficult to see, your clothes soaked through completely, your body chilled to the bone; you were freezing, shaking violently, but you couldn't bring yourself to care. you dug your fingers into beomgyu's wet hair, deepened your kiss with a lofty sigh he tasted like fireworks. countless tiny explosions overwhelming your senses and like something sweet you couldn't name. "don't tell me to shut up," you retorted when you parted, breathing heavy, fingers still tangled in beomgyu's hair; "you shut up." "okay." beomgyu giggled, leaning in for another kiss.

taehyun -> friends to lovers

"oh, i'm so sorry!" you squeak, disoriented and mortified beyond belief. "i wasn't paying attention--" you weren't even sure where to start, knocked clean on the pavement, contents of your purse scattered everywhere-- and worst of all, your iced coffee spilled all over a complete stranger. "no, no, I'M sorry!" he replied, sounding just as flustered as you were. he helped you gather your things, looking so apologetic despite you being the one to bump into him. the luckiest fan (and boyfriend) ever

summary. you’re beyond happy that your boyfriend met his idol however you can’t help but tease him a little about it

a/n. he looks so happy in those pics i truly wanted to cry when i first saw them :(

the guys are laughing at something that kai said, the sound of door opening going unnoticed. you walk up to the couch, soobin’s head back to you. yeonjun notices you first and nods as a greeting.

“boo!” you say, putting your hands on his arms. soobin curses, body jerking and he turns around. your boyfriend grins upon seeing you and he leans into your touch, head nuzzling into your stomach.

“what’s up, y/n?” taehyun asked, leaning in to offer you a pack of chips.

“nothing much. i wanted to ask you a very important question though, soobin” you hummed, fingers gently massaging his arms.

the room fell silent.

“it’s not that serious” you faked a laugh and soobin turned around slowly, eyes wide.

“should we leave the room–?” kai asked quietly, looking at his friends.

“sh, no, i wanna hear what soobin did” beomgyu giggled

“i didn’t do anything! or did i…?” soobin looked at you, doe eyes making your heart beat faster against your rib cage.

“we’ll see. but chose your words carefully” you cleared your throat, making everyone focus on your next words

“is this gonna be “would you still love me if i was a worm” type of question?” yeonjun asked suddenly, raising his eyebrows.

“we already got through that. soob passed in flying colors, by the way” you grinned.

he did not, in fact, pass (even in crawling colors, if you will). he said he wouldn’t even know if it’s you or a regular worm plus there would be a possibility of odi eating you. although soobin said that if he knew it’s your worm self, he’d keep you in his pocket.

“coming back…” you cleared your throat yet again and looked soobin in the eye “me or bebe rexha?”

beomgyu inhaled dramatically and kai cling onto yeonjun. taehyun watched the scene amused.

“uh…”

“can i be the leader when y/n takes him out?” yeonjun whispered, warning a smack from beomgyu

soobin kept looking at you, blinking slowly.

“what?” he whispered, hand flying to scratch his neck nervously.

“y/n, he’s trying to buy himself some time!” beomgyu whined.

“err, what? no, absolutely not, ha!” soobin scoffs, chuckling anxiously.

“so? what’s your answer?” you tilted your head. he puffed his cheek, the gears turning in his head.

“y/n i’d like to notice that he still haven’t said your name… i’d break up with him on spot” taehyun chimed in, earning a laugh from kai.

“you, babe” he murmured big hands wrapping around your waist and pulling you closer, so he can hide his fave from you by pressing his cheek to your tummy.

“it sounded awfully similar to bebe” kai noticed. soobin sent him a terrifying look, making the youngest shiver.

“me, right?” you hummed, scratching his scalp gently.

silence.

“yeees” soobin says a bit hesitantly. you crack a smile and step back, making him turn around and look at you confused.

“i got what i wanted to hear. see you later losers, i have to go” you waved and looked at soobin for the last time, his expression puzzled.

you felt a bit guilty about the situation but you can’t say you didn’t forget about it. at the end of the day, filled with uni work and doing chores, the only thing on your mind was getting ready to bed and falling asleep in your warm bed.

soobin, however, seemed to be thinking about something since he got home.

once you were in bed, your boyfriend let out a deep sigh and crashed next to you, burying his head in the crook of your neck.

“y/n?” he whispered, arm sneaking around your waist.

“yeah, soob?” you frowned, fighting the urge to keep your eyes open.

“you know you’re the only one i love? i’m so madly in love in you and just… it’s not that i don’t but… you took me off guard today and i thought you got sad…” he mumbled, leaning away to look at your face. if you were sleepy before, now your heart rate picked up and you were fully awake.

“what? soobin, i was joking” you hum, taking his face into your hands “oh cutie…”

soobin looked away, huffing.

“but i love you too. more than [favourite artist]. i like them, sure. i listen to them, of course. but i’d rather listen to you, even if it’s just babbling about bebe rexha or odi” you grin and peck his forehead. he looks at you shyly (and maybe if the light was on you could see his red ears) “and i’m really, really glad you got to met her. you looked so genuinely happy, i just wanted to cry”

“i’m the luckiest boyfriend to ever exist, you know?” he giggled and pulled you in a hug, his warmth embracing you “but don’t cry, even if it’s happy tears”

“understood. and soobin, i’m sorry. i didn’t mean to make you feel guilty, that was stupid of me to ask you…” you murmured, fighting a smile.

“don’t worry. i love you more. don’t tell her that though” your boyfriend giggled.

when you two were fast asleep, having sweet dreams, your phone dinged with a sms notification.

you were awoken by the loud banging on your room door instead of your alarm, even if they were just as annoying, you'd much rather be waken up by your alarm. your mum suddenly barged into your room, standing by the door, you felt yourself jump in pure shock.

"hurry up, your boyfriend is here to pick you up from school." you felt your energy levels surging up as soon as your mum told you that. you quickly grabbed your phone and left to the bathroom to get ready.

you were done in the matter of seconds, you wanted to see your boyfriend as soon as possible, you grabbed your bag went towards your kitchen to get something to drink. you shouted bye to your mum from across the living room before heading out. you immediately saw you perfect, tall, and just amazing boyfriend standing near the pathway, one side of his earbud plugged in as he scrolled on his phone, waiting for you. you brisked up your pace and decided to scare him.

"boo!" you exclaimed, jumping and clinging onto his body. you felt soobin stiffen at the contact but once he realised that it was you, he relaxed and patted your head.

"morning." he greeted, his large hands grabbing yours, intertwining them together. your smile grew larger as you started talking about how you started your morning and the tiring things you had to do the night before. soobin replied to your ranting occassionally, it may seem like he wasn't listening but he was memorising every detail you said. you knew that he wasn't good with talking, thus whenever he hummed in response or replied with just a few words, you knew that he was trying for you.

once you arrived at school, soobin followed you around as you said hi to your friends. you were quite popular due to your bubbly and talkative nature, some may be confused on how you found interest in soobin, but you two still made it work. almost everyone in school loved your dynamic, however of course there were some people who were jealous and were projecting their insecurities on the both of you, but who cares! you won by pulling soobin and that was all that mattered.

"the usual place later?" you asked soobin, pulling the earbud he placed in your ear earlier out and returning it to him.

"yea, i'll buy you your favourite." soobin answered while rolling up his earphones up to keep them. you immediately beamed, kissing his cheek before leaving to your classroom, greeting your classmates while on the way to your desk. you waved at soobin again through the window while he slowly made his way to his own class.

you were dead asleep on your table, you were out for at least half the lessons. furthermore, the class was math, so you basically didn't know what was happening once the class ended. the bell rung, signalling that it was finally lunch time. you sprung up from your seat, saying a quick see you later to your classmate before sprinting off to your boyfriend's class.

you were about to step into soobin's class, but noticed that his teacher was still explaining the homework to the class, not ending his lesson yet. you hid yourself behind the wall, praying that no one saw. soobin noticed your pressence and tilted his head towards the backdoor of his classroom, smiling to himself.

"what you smiling over." yeonjun, his seatmate, teased, nudging his shoulder with a stupid grin on his face. soobin rolled his eyes, continuing to pay attention to the teacher, who seemed to be in love with the homework she was giving out.

after a while, soobin's class was done, as soon as you saw the teacher step out of the class. you immediately made your way into the classroom and placed 2 onigiri's on soobin's table. soobin looked at you with a shocked expression, he told you that he was going to buy you your favourite, why did you buy onigiris? you could read soobin's facial expression extremely well at the point, so you placed your hands on you hip, confidently stating,

"since you're working so hard in your classes and my tutor sessions with you in english, i think you deserve a treat! let's just stay here and enjoy." you smiled at him, pulling out yeonjun's seat to sit beside your boyfriend. soobin's lips turned upwards subtly as he sat down beside you, unwrapping the onigiri. however, there was this group of girls sitting infront that were side eyeing you and soobin, you could feel their intense stares and annoyed looks. you decided to ignore them, and continued to doodle on soobin's notes, telling him how your day was so far.

"she's so loud and annoying, jeez."

"soobin should have chosen someone better. like you."

"i know right, what's so good about her anyways? she's literally in the lower tier class of our cohort."

despite whispering, you could hear their comments loud and clear, how ironic, guess they weren't so quiet after all. they even walked out of the classroom giving you nasty looks. your smile faltered, silently munching on your onigiri. soobin couldn't help but notice your silence, and looked at you with concern, you were so happy just a few minutes ago, why were you suddenly so gloomy and quiet? he didn't like that.

"what's wrong?.." soobin asked, his eyes filled with worry. you smiled at him brightly, helping him push up his thickly rimmed glasses.

"nothing! just thinking about something soob, continue with your homework." you replied as if nothing happened, proceeding to draw on soobin's arms this time.

"there's 5 more minutes till class is over, i think i'll go now." you said, getting up from your seat, wanting to leave the class. soobin wanted to walk you back to your class, yet you pushed his body back down onto his seat, his hands gripping onto your waist since he almost fell out of his seat because of how you accidentally shoved him back down onto his seat.

"nuh uh, i'm fine walking myself love. i'll see you after school yea?" you reassured, leaning into leave a kiss on his forehead. you squished his cheek before walking out of the class in hurry, many thoughts rushing into your mind. much to your disappointment, you bumped into the group of girls who was talking shit about you.

"oh, you're here. where's your boyfriend?" one of them snickered.

"he didn't want to walk to back to your trash class? boohoo." another one mocked, wiping her eyes as if she was crying.

"why not project your insecurities somewhere else. maybe reflect on yourself and think, why can't you get have a boyfriend yourself!" you replied with the fakest smile on your face, you patted one of their shoulders, flipping them off before skipping towards your class. even though you confidently stood up for yourself, you were still overthinking about whether you were too loud, too annoying for soobin. you were zoning in and out during lessons, occupied by your own thoughts.

today your lessons ended later than you thought, you were one of the last people to walk out of class this time. you were staring at your phone as you felt yourself bump into someone, you apologised, looking up to face the person, only to find out that soobin was standing infront of you. you darted your eyes around the hallway, avoiding his confused gaze.

"something on your mind?" soobin asked, his words filled with concern and worry. you shrugged it off, smiling at him reassuringly, linking your arms together as you dragged him towards the busstop. soobin knew that there was something on your mind due to how on and off your energy was. he felt helpless, he wanted to help you, but he wasn't a person of words. when he saw you happily stride your way towards the window seat on the bus, he can't help but admire how you still maintained your cheerfulness despite the things you were going through.

"woah, the sky looks nice today." your eyes sparkled, looking at the fluffy cotton like clouds. soobin leaned over your shoulder, trying to cloud gaze with you through the window. you felt your face grow warm, nervously glancing at soobin's flawless skin and side profile from time to time. you noticed how his thumb drew circles around yours when you were holding hands. even if you guys were together for just a few month, you still harboured a huge crush on him, you just felt comforted by just by his presence alone.

you hopped out of the bus, grabbing soobin's hand as soon as he got out of the bus. you felt giddy, as if all your problems faded away from the mere touch of your boyfriend. you finally arrived at your doorstep, you pouted since you didn't spend as much time as you wanted with your boyfriend. you were about to turn around to walk towards your house, but was pulled back by soobin suddenly engulfing you into a hug, his large hands cupping your face, squishing your cheeks. you tilted your head in confusion.

"you know.. you can tell me anything that's bothering you." soobin's eyebrows scrunched up when he saw your face drop.

"was i that obvious.." you looked down, guilty for trying to bottle up your feelings to the one person you swore that you trusted with all your life. soobin nodded his head, you sighed, hands gripping onto soobin's uniform tightly.

"when i was with you in your class just now.. i heard some girls say that i was loud and obnoxious, and how i should be grateful you even chose me to be your partner." you mumbled the words out quickly, feeling slight embarrassment after admitting something so minor. soobin looked at you with saddened eyes, his mind was still searching for the right words to tell you.

"you were never annoying to me yn.. you're perfect for me. i love it when you act like yourself, don't change yourself because of what some stupidly jealous girls say about you-" you felt yourself gulp in shock, soobin was comforting you with words, and not actions, you felt butterflies forming in the pit of your stomach, "if anything i feel like you're too good for me, you always do things for me, and i really appreciate that, you make me feel special, for the first time ever in my life." soobin admitted, the tips of his ears turning red as he licked his dry lips from saying so much.

you felt yourself internally melt at each and every word he uttered out, "I DON'T DESERVE YOU SOOB." you exclaimed, hugging him tighter than usual. soobin smiled to himself as you nuzzled yourself into his chest, you looked up at him, kissing his cheek is sheer happiness. soobin felt more confident than usual, tilting your head up to face him. he leaned in to lock his lips with your, your eyes widened at the sudden contact, slowly melting into his lips, you fell in love all over again. your arms snaked around soobin's neck, while his grip on your hip slowly tightened. you pulled away, literally about to faint, soobin licked his lip, still tasting the strawberry flavoured lipgloss you wore everytime.

"my first kiss." you whispered out loud, still not over what just happened a few minutes ago. you grinned from ear to ear, leaving a peck on soobin's lips before running away into the comfort of your home, waving at him through your window as well. as soon as you plopped yourself on your bed, you screamed in the pillow, giggling and kicking your feet in pure joy and giddiness.

I can specifically picture beomgyu getting one of the other members to both go out with their babies in carriers on their chests and they just wave to everyone they see with the babies' hands. like, use the babies' hands to wave instead of theirs

boy dad beomgyu who builds the best pillowforts and is the best at play fighting and buys the coolest nerf guns and foam swords. boy dad beomgyu who had a special relationship with his dad and carries those traditions on with his kids. boy dad beomgyu who plays guitar for his kids and they think he's the coolest dad ever

if he has a daughter, she totally roughhouses with the boys but she gets princess treatment when she sits on daddy's lap while he plays guitar, her tiny fingers resting on the wood so she can feel the vibrations of the music. her big eyes filled with such deep appreciation for the music.

hmmm, honestly I also feel boy dad but he has a science son :) his wide-eyed son with glow in the dark stars on his ceiling and an ant farm and he exclusively wears dinosaur tshirts. taehyun and him nerd out together all the time. his son loves the planetarium and the library and also is in all the school plays. plays minecraft with beomgyu's son and soobin's oldest daughter

however, I can also see tyun's kids playing a lot of soccer (I can see him with two boys, close in age). they both would be on the soccer team that he assistant coaches (thank you @https-yeonjun for that headcanon<3). they are both into soccer- just like their daddy- and the one is into a bunch of other sports so he's always off to practice somewhere with his grass-stained knees and toothy grin. the three of them would spend match days glued to the tv to watch their favorite team. he'd buy them all matching jerseys for their favorite team too, with each of their favorite players names on the back

also taehyun would absolutely get a cat for his kids and they would have a chore wheel for days on who feeds it/ cleans the litterbox

if tyun had a daughter she would have the highest standards as a grown-up like. not quite spoiled like yeonjun's daughter, but omg the absolute most princess treatment of all time. that girl would have all her oranges peeled and her juice poured in her favorite cup and her hair brushed and she would never walk because she'd want to be carried everywhere and her daddy is strong so he carries her. she totally wears the matching soccer jerseys with her brothers and daddy too like, c'mon. soccer jersey and tutu and she absolutely crushes the other team when she's on the field

I feel like hyuka girl dad??? his daughter's bed is absolutely full of plushies. she def collects them and names them and they have a special order they have to go in on her bed. she sleeps with them all every night and gives each one a kiss before she goes to sleep. he takes her to the store and is the biggest enabler of her collection. he says he isn't spoiling her, just gifting her as a fellow collector, but we know she's spoiled

you know how hyuka is a copy-and-paste of his dad? if he has a son it's 100% gonna be a carbon copy of him. like, that boy is a HUENING and everyone can tell. tallest kid in his grade and has the exact same laugh and nose and eye crinkles.

Soobin’s lips pressed against your neck in soft feather-like kisses, sending shivers down your spine. You let out an airy breath. His touch left your senses haywire, unable to control the way your hands gently roamed across his broad chest. You let your fingers trace the wrinkles of his t-shirt and the way his chest curves underneath it, memorizing the way he breathes as he hovers over you.

Meanwhile, Soobin is too lost in the scent of your skin, he lets his teeth graze the sensitive flesh that you offer by tilting your head to the side as you give him full access.

Each warm exhale he released heightened your senses further. Your eyes flutter shut and you release another shaky breath.

“I love you y/n.. so much..” he mumbles into your ear after licking a long strip from your collarbone to underneath your ear. You smile and rest your right hand in his hair, gently rubbing circles in his scalp before pulling him in.

“I- I love you too, binnie”

Though scarcely more than a whisper, Soobin catches every word of your confession.

Your boyfriend places his forehead against yours and you offer him a peck on the lips. You find yourself giggling as Soobin attempts to chase you for one more kiss. You let him win as his arms that were once holding him above your figure delicately reach to cup your cheeks and he clashes his lips against yours once more, passionately letting his feelings flow through the connection.

Soobin’s body presses against yours and you feel yourselves melt into the bedsheets underneath. He somehow manages to make sure his weight isn’t entirely on you despite being so lost in the way you let his tongue slip into your mouth

His kisses were always tender yet fervent. He couldn’t get enough of the way you molded perfectly into each other whenever your bodies connected. Hardly any words were spoken in these moments but when they were, it was something that came from only the depths of your hearts.

“Binnie..”

“Mm?” Smiling against his lips, you wrap your legs around his waist in an attempt to pull him impossibly closer.

“You always feel like home to me.”

Soobin pulls away and looks at you with that signature bunny grin, his dimples carving deeper into his cheeks. He doesn’t try to conceal the radiant glimmer in his eyes as your sweet words wash over him. His smile grows wider with every second your sentence lingers around his fast-beating heart.

Moments like these were like treasures sprinkled into Soobin’s hectic schedule. Any time alone with you was always just what he needed to bring color and rejuvenation to his soul when he felt dull and worn. You found solace in the silence of your bedroom, away from the outside world, with whispered promises and shared secrets belonging to only lovers.

“If that’s true, then it always feels like heaven when I’m with you,” Soobin whispers, swooping down to your soft lips for another passionate kiss before you can respond.

His large hands let go of your face and begin to trace down your neck, onto your shoulders, and down your arms. They find their way to your own hands and he intertwines them together, gently lifting your hands above your head as your kiss develops into something more than simply innocent declarations of love.

Your breath quickens and you sense your heartbeat increasing in intensity. The echoes of fervent kisses filling the air of your bedroom evoke a tight feeling in your stomach.

Soobin tilts his head in to deepen the kiss, desperately searching for a way to convey the intensity of his love for you. As you feel the sparks ignite between your shared contact of skin on skin, you find yourself appreciating these rare and intimate moments with your boyfriend more and more.

These memories, though short and simple, stay forever bound and imprinted with every touch and every lingering taste of warmth that will forever feel like heaven to both of you.

he couldn't help the soft noises of appreciation tumbling from his lips with no control, he tugged his bottom lip between his teeth hoping it'd muffle the embarassment as well as the sound... he didn't have any control over the way his body reacted to your every action, each flick of your warm tongue sent shockwaves of want all the way to his... heart. of course... just his heart.

"b...baby.. y...you massive t..tease.. what're you doing..?" he managed to spit out removing his hand clasped over his mouth, and there you were looking up at him from your place at the crook of his neck with the most painfully sweet look in your eyes..

"nothin' at all soob..?? hmm.." your words dripped with fake innocence, your hum vibrating against his skin.. it made his head throb, and a soft moan to slip out his half open mouth. "god you're gonna k..kill me" he whispered gently, his eyes squeezed shut in a sense of bliss and anticipation as your fingers trailed against his neck.

sometimes you cursed the universe for constantly bringing you people who were just incompatible with you.

your love life seemed to have this recurring theme, almost like a stopwatch counting down the days until things eventually don't work out for you. but it’s not like you knew that was going to happen.

plenty of trial and errors. plenty of disheartened occasions. and plenty of nights ranting to your course mate and closest friend, choi soobin. because it was only him who understood you to the point there was no longer a filter between you, no secrets kept from one another, and him being the first resort as your support system.

soobin always knew the right words to say to keep your mind at ease. always reminding you to protect your peace and that love will always find its way.

and he was right.

it’s been months since your last talking stage, and you were no longer affected by the fact it didn’t work out, and it’s the best you’ve felt for the longest time. unbothered and channeling your inner peace. because you’re not here to chase, no. you were a strong believer that the universe works in mysterious ways, and thanks to soobin, he is a constant reminder of what’s for you, is meant for you.

what started as a platonic friendship, turned into admiration for one another. using each other as support throughout your day to day lives; for inspiration to be a better person each day.

there was a time where a simple brush of the shoulders didn’t faze you, but now you get butterflies just from laying your gaze on his gentle sleeping figure on your couch.

was it the way his hair falls perfectly just above his long eyelashes that were almost doll-like? or the way his nose slopes to a soft curve, luring your eyes to his cupid's bow and uniquely-shaped lips that curved upwards in the corners? his side profile was unapologetically stunning. almost surreal that this person is in your life.

was he always this beautiful?

you think to yourself, or so you thought until you hear a low chuckle coming from him.

“what?” you chuckle along, he was too contagious to not do the same.

“you think I’m beautiful?” he looks at you, sleepy eyes slowly adjusting to the sun rays decorating the room.

“always.”

he laughs again in endearment, reaching out a welcoming arm and motioning you to sit beside him before enveloping around your shoulders. his body radiates warmth, but also security. his larger frame was enough to make you feel protected in his arms, in ways your previous partners never did.

you sit in comfort with him looking down at you. his eyes almost reflect what you think the galaxy would look like at first hand, twinkling with nothing but purpose.

“and you.. you are the most prettiest I’ve laid my eyes on.”

his deep voice almost rumbled against your chest, cheeks warming up from the affection he’s giving you. and perhaps all this time while you were looking elsewhere, the person for you has just been here the entire time.

“soobin, I haven’t been completely honest with you…” your voice trails, but you remain steady eye contact.

his face tilts to the side. his lips presses into a thin line until his two dimples are appearing in front of you. damn those dimples.

your heart races in your chest and you’re chewing the inside of your cheek, nervous to risk something so special, something you’re entirely grateful for. but it’s now or never, right?

what’s meant for you, will be for you.

“it’s okay, you can tell me.” he reassures you with the expanse of his hand caressing your shoulder.

with a deep and steady breath you start, “I like you soobin. more than a course mate who looks out for me. more than a platonic friend. more than anyone I’ve ever liked before. and I trust you wholeheartedly. I like you so much it scares me but I know you wouldn’t hurt me. god, my feelings have grown immensely and I just hope you accept me as I am.”

he was silent. eyes still sparkling, but silent.

a thousand thoughts fly through your mind, and nothing but the drum of your heartbeat and the ticking of the clock flooding in your ears. shit, I’ve messed up—

the sound of your name falls past his lips, regaining your attention.

"I like you too. I always did, and always will. I can't stop thinking about you ever since we met." he looks away momentarily and the same airy chuckle returns, "I just wanted to have you in my life, even if that meant comforting you after an unsuccessful date or talking stage. even if that meant I would get a little hurt inside."

his hand reaches up to cup your cheek, warmth transferring from your skin to his and he looks at you with so much appreciation. your chest heaves a little faster when you watch his eyes flicker down to your lips and back up to meet your eyes again.

"I love you," bringing both your faces closer together. you can feel his little breathes through his lips before asking, "can I kiss you?"

with no further words you hum out a 'mhm' and close the minuscule gap, letting your lips collide gently. they molded perfectly against each other, his pillowy bottom lip against yours felt heavenly. you cup soobin's cheek a little further back that your fingertips are lost in his hair behind his blushed ears. both of your chest heave against each other, as you deepen the kiss, tilting your head to kiss him as if he was to disappear the next day. just incase you thought this was too good to be true. just in case the universe would take him away from you.

soobin's thumb caresses your cheek before he gently holds your chin with his thumb and forefinger, disconnecting the kiss.

"hey, hey, I'm not going anywhere. okay?" his hand moves effortlessly behind the back of your head, luring it forward for him to place a kiss on your forehead. "I'm yours if you want me to be."

"of course I want you to be. I'm yours and you're mine." you watch his lips curve upwards, again decorated beautifully with his dimples.

he wraps his arms around you, his face snuggling in the dip of your neck as your hands roam over his broad shoulders. he lays gentle kisses against your skin, sighing in relief that he can finally do this, and not just in his dreams. his kisses trail up until he's by your ear, spoiling you at your sweet spot, evident from your soft sighs, and he whispers something in a lower octave.

"let me show you how much I love you."

YOU ARE an idiot, to say the least. The title easily falls into your grasp every time your eyes fell into the all too familiar playing field. Whether the label on the nametag includes "in love" is up for debate. Although, the number of times you found yourself distracted by Choi Soobin gives hard evidence to support your claim.

But seriously, who wouldn't fall for the Soobin?

When your hands first brushed against his, you seemed to find yourself in confusion. How could plastic cause an electric shock in your heart and veins? His eyes fleeted away from yours, chasing escape from its predators. And honestly, you loved it. The shy mannerisms he radiated versus his bold stature on the field amazed you. He could never hold a conversation with you, yet held so much confidence when he stepped onto the field.

“Thank you…” Soobin trailed off shyly, accepting the offered water with a small but visible smile. If that little detail made your heart flutter, it was between you and your mind to keep it a secret.

“No, it’s nothing!” You squeak out, eyebrows raised as you giggle slightly. His talents were to be treated, and keeping players hydrated was simply something you were required to do. Nonetheless, his “thank you”s of gratitude never faltered. “You should be proud of yourself.”

With that, he blushes of embarrassment- and oh, how beautiful his skin is pink. “I tripped over my boots and missed the kick…” And sure, you have no idea in which foreign language boots refers to cleats, but you know it’s not yours. Along with the knowledge that you would pay anything to see his blushing face again.

“It’s only practice; don’t be so hard on yourself,” you pat his back, your hand lingering longer than regularly. With how you were acting, nothing in the was regular. Usually, you rush back to your staff duties, but right now you’re in your field- love. And while Soobin is just a few meters away from his, you wouldn’t mind luring him into yours.

“Of course, Yn,” his teeth shine in a youthful light, gleaming at you in blooming plants. How his hand reached your forearm or how you two neared the other’s face in such a short time manner isn’t known to you. Truthfully, you didn’t mind, but the resonating ring of the coaches whistle did.

“I’ll see you!” you call out finally, blushing as you purse your lips inwards to suppress the chaos that settled a home in your mind.
