that eases the pain of my life's strain.

You inspire me to create,

to express my feelings in art.

You guide me through the darkness,

and comfort me in my heart.

You are my muse, my inspiration,

my companion through the night.

You help me find the beauty,

in the darkness, and in the light.

Melancholy, my dear friend,

thank you for being there.

Through all the pain and sorrow,

you help me find beauty everywhere
