Lynyrd Skynyrd, un d’aquells grups que agafa cert prestigi perquè no hi ha dos persones que pronunciin igual el nom. Bromes a part, tots coneixem el temazo de Sweet Home Alabama d’aquest gran grup de Hard Rock Sudista, però i si us dic que encara estàn sobre els escenaris?

Molta gent sap que aquest grup va patir un tràgic accident aeri en el 77 que es va emportar a 3 membres de la banda i al mànager i que va causar la separació del grup en el 87 per depressions i adiccions a les drogues dures. 

El grup es va tornar a unir precisament en el 87, passant de fer una música molt centrada amb el blues rock típic del sud (com a clar exemple, Sweet Home Alabama) a fer un estil més proper al Hard Rock, que es corresponia més amb les seves vides més dures després de l’accident: van canviar les drogues i les discussions per més potència a dalt l’escenari. 

Aquest tema és del disc més recent que tenen, Last of a Dyin’ Breed del 2012 i la veritat, és sorprenent com un grup que ha passat per tant hagi aconseguit arribar al top 14 a la Billboard arreu del món. Endavant, a escoltar-lo!
