I completely agree with this author! If a show is done, let it rest. Not everything needs to be a franchise just to beat a dead horse. Supernatural being my obvious example. Just look how poorly the prequel is doing. In addition, they keep teasing a reboot, but what would it really cover? A few hunting stories? They can't change anything about the original, so there are no stakes involved.

It's time for the SPN franchise to go back to just being a show about the Supernatural. No franchise, no spin-offs, no reboot, just the original story, as it was told.
