Mae visits the set of Street Woman Fighter

Time: 2021

During a break during filming, Taeyong gotten a call from his manager. The dancers couldn’t hear much from where they were, but considering how quickly he moved, they assumed it was important.

The groups just conversed amongst themselves until they heard a rustle coming from behind the cameras.

“Who’s that?” 

A small figure in a black hat can be seen trailing after Taeyong, holding onto to a few plastic bags.

“Mae brought snacks!” Taeyong said, pushing the girl to the front. Mae glared at him before bowing to the other dancers.

“Hello I’m NCT’s Mae!” Mae said smiling nervously, “I know everyone has been working hard, so I brought everyone snacks.”

“She’s so cute.” Honey J from Holy Bang said, watching as the girl hand out food and drinks to everyone. She felt her energy revive the entire room.

“She’s the same age as Yell, right?” Leejung Lee asked, which Yell nodded. When Mae went to YGX’s corner, she quickly waddled towards the girl. 

“I’m actually a big fan of Yell,” Mae said shyly, gesturing to the B Girl,” I saw her when I was visiting Jisung during Dancing High so...”

 Yell’s eyes widened, not expecting the confession. Then again, she did recall a girl visiting Jisung during the show so it must’ve been her. Yell was going to thank you for the comment until someone called out to Mae.

“Hey Mae,” Lip J from PROWDMON called out to the girl, overhearing the conversation, “Out of everyone here, who’s your favorite dancer?”

Mae froze at the sudden question. Taeyong laughed as he saw all the other dancers try to appeal themselves to the girl. 

“Sorry, but BoA sunbaenim has my heart.” 

BoA smiled at the girl and sent her a smile, causing her to smile. The groups sighed in disappointment but they couldn’t blame her, considering some of them had BoA as their inspiration in the first place.

“Mae-ah if you need a place to stay if being an idol doesn’t work out, you can join us!” Gabee from La Chica said, pointing to her group. 

“I will work hard for NCT!” Mae said, bowing towards the teams.

“She’s so cute, what should we do?”

Mae continued handing out the food to the teams, with the help of Taeyong carrying the bags.

“Here’s some for you too Daniel-ssi.” Mae said, handing a drink to Daniel, who was standing by the stairs. He nodded gratefully and took a sip from his drink. The two chatted for a bit, talking about how they were fans of each other.

"Daniel-ssi you have to be careful,” BoA said playfully, “She’s already taken.”

Mae sunk to the floor in embarrassment, while Daniel quickly reassured everyone that it wasn’t his intention. The women in the room had teasing smiles on their faces, enjoying the look on Mae’s face. She had the energy of a little sister.

“Actually, Mae has a request for everyone.” Taeyong said, making everyone turn their heads back at the girl in question. 

Mae quickly shuffled to the front so everyone could see her. 

“I was wondering if I could get dance lessons from every group, “Mae asked awkwardly, “ Since I dance for a boy group, I don’t have many opportunities to learn from female dancers.”

“You can always join us!” Hyojin from WANT called out immediately, waving at the girl from her spot. Chaeyeon also sent her a wave, considering the two of them were friends when she was promoting as IZONE.

All the tension in Mae’s body was released when she heard all the other teams agree. It was decided that since Mae had to leave soon for a schedule, they would sort it out with Taeyong and their manager during another break.

“Street Woman Fighter Fighting!” Mae cheered, before quickly moving towards the exit.
