I've been a wrestling fan for 17 years now. Lots of wrestlers passed away during those years, some hurt more than others for me. I immediately think of Scott Hall and Roddy Piper. But the thing is, I didn't get to witness them in their prime. I didn't see them become superstars, legends. I learned about them later, I watched their stuff thanks to the internet. And they were not 36 years old.
I was already into wrestling when Bray started. I saw him as Husky Harris, Bray Wyatt and The Fiend. I saw him becoming this star. I witnessed his genius on my screen, his creativity, his talent.
His death just hit differently.
No one should die at 36 years old, leaving four little kids behind.
He had so much more to give us, to show us. I'm glad that he won the world championship when he did, that he had the matches he had, that the WWE trusted his talent.
Thank you, Bray. You'll be missed but never will you be forgotten.
Been a week since we received the news that Bray Wyatt passed. Don’t know what else to say besides I’m still feelin it. Rest easy Windham. There won’t be another like you.
It's been a couple of days and I still can't believe it. Windham Rotunda aka Bray Wyatt on WWE passed away this last friday.
I was a huge fan of him. I liked every character he portrayed on screen, he was such a good performer in ring.
The world of wrestling lost one the most talentuous man it never had since those past 30 years.
Thank you Bray. Thank you for all you brang in the wrestling entertainement, thank you for carrying the thunderdome era. Thank you for the Eater of Worlds, The Wyatt Family, The Fiend, The Firefly Fun House, Husky Harris. Thank you for having just being Bray Wyatt. I will miss you so much.
