It is lowkey funny to me how the marvel cinematic clownverse is bringing back the absolute lamest most dogshit characters that have been the butt of every comic related joke for the past 3 decades pre bandwagon era like I’m sorry idc how jacked you make this dude look namor is still namor lol and you cannot possibly make me care although I much prefer them ruining a nothing character like that rather than turning their wretched gaze on my X-men… god RIP fr. I’ll be inconsolable when they make the next shitty blockbuster, sound of the summer, endgame X-men trash simply bc I already know the most annoying people on the face of the planet will be screeching high praise for it being probably antithetical to everything that makes the X-men so poignant and important and relevant and unique and affecting. I can already see Disney ham-fisting in some version of an “All Lives Matter” type message where no actually the X-men never stood for anything political, this movie is rated E for Everyone! No subversive themes here whatsoever :) fun for the whole family, just the good guys beating the bad evil villains like that unreasonable, extremist, meanie Magneto!
