WHAT IS THAT HAND DOING THERE DOCTOR? AND THE WAY THEY ACT SO COMFORTABLE AROUND EACH OTHER WHENEVER THEY'RE NOT TRYING TO KILL EACH OTHER?????? I'M GOING CRAZY
“It seems to be a rather interesting extra-terrestrial life form...”
Quick little sketch of The Master finally getting to whistle at the clangers for real. That little moment from The Sea Devils is still one of my favourite Master moments because I too love The Clangers.
I was watching the sea devils with a friend a bit ago and we got to the part where the master requests another tv in his prison cell and like yeah, it shows off that the master has a lot of control of his situation if he can get amenities like that in a prison cell
but then we thought about it a little more and realized
this episode aired in the early 70s, for viewers back then, the fact he requested a second tv for his cell, let alone a color tv, which was still pretty new for britain, must have been as the most smug thing possible
listen. my gf (who does not watch doctor who) heard me gasp, looked over and saw that they were standing next to each other in this specific room and immediately asked “oh is this THE scene?” out loud
how many times must i have shown her gifsets of this scene for her to recognize it by room alone. they hadn’t even touched yet.
