I know no one asked, but I have more thoughts about Chapelwaite's Bookish Governess trope which I must write out before heading to campus. (You can block either 'chapelwaite' or the individualized 'my insomniac chapelwaite diaries,' which these chiefly are.)
Thanks to Charlotte Brontë (and Henry James), there is an anticipated frisson about the relationship of a Bookish Governess and her Solitary Employer. And I am both interested and extremely gratified by the refusal of this show to provide one. It provides opportunities for one, and shows it not developing! I like it! Admittedly, the situation at Chapelwaite is particularly fraught because our Captain Boone has tried and failed to acquire any other staff at all. And he is clearly conscious of this, carefully circumspect, but (also clearly) acutely lonely. When he overcomes his own reticence to offer the duplicitous Miss Morgan a drink after the children have gone to bed, he's renegotiating something, somewhat awkwardly. But also, he's starved of non-hostile adult conversation! When she finds the house's 19th-century equivalent of a first aid kit and brings it to him the morning after he gets nearly beaten to death (!), she is looking for her essay's next telling detail, and he... well, he's trying to figure out if his ribs are cracked. And he can't reach the lacerated contusion on his shoulder-blade. It's not a sensual scene. It's awkward! Nevertheless, one does become acutely aware that she is trying to provide necessary assistance while touching him as little as possible, and that he is holding himself very still in the cold dawn.

Trope rating game!
tagged by @rainbow-nerdss (took me a while to get to it but here we finally are!)
rules: How much do these tropes affect your decision to click on a fic? -10 -> very dissuaded 0 - don’t care either way +10 -> very enticed nope -> if it’s a hard no and you’d never click on a fic with that tag or or you even have the tag blocked or you’d insta click out of the fic if it wasn’t tagged. Bonus points for explaining the rating and whether it’s conditional.
Age gap: +2 (can really depend on a lot of other factors)
Codependency: -3
Obsession/Possessiveness, jealousy: -8 ( I don't mind a flash/mention of jealousy but if it's the key trope, it's not my thing)
Opposites (grumpy/sunshine etc): +7 (gonna echo @rainbow-nerdss who said "good stuff, good stuff but only if it works for the characters i hate when it's forced")
Enemies to lovers, Enemies with benefits: +3 (definitely depends on why they're enemies tho)
Friends with benefits: +8
Sex to feelings: +10
Fake dating/relationship: +8
Friends to lovers: +10
Found Family: +8
Hurt/Comfort: +3 (I like h/c for flavoring but not really as the main focus)
Love Triangle: -10 (boring boring boring UNLESS you are setting up for a polycule HEA then I'm on board)
Poly, open relationships: +5
Mistaken/hidden identity: +7
Monsterfucking: +10
Pregnancy: -10
Second Chance: +6 (again, quoting rainbow-nerdss "...prefer when the reason they lost the first chance was out of their control in some way. If someone did something shitty/unforgivable I find it harder to buy it.)
Slowburn: +8
Soulmates: +8

I watched the first episode of first kill and I'm mad that no one told me it was set in Savannah! I love savannah, it's such a good setting for this type of show.

I was just wondering if you'd ever make any more of your trope designs. I have one of each sticker and honestly would love more if you made them. They're so beautiful. And as a very avid fic reader, I absolutely love them.
Aw thank you!
Honestly I don't even know which other tropes are there for me to cover, but I'm open to suggestions. You never know when inspiration might strike.

Random idea I may suggest for another fanfic if you’ll ever do another one
ENEMIES TO LOVERS. sorry but I just love that kind of stuff.
Anyways, to the main idea! Crowley and Aziraphale both work at this specific company, and over the time they both tried to be the best employee ever. Because of that, there was a rivalry and that’s the enemies part. But, one day after they finish their shifts late they figure out that they’ve been locked in the office, the only other person being the other. Maybe because of some huge ass event the office will not open til like a shit while later and maybe Aziraphale becomes so worryful! And then Crowley finds some sympathy and just comforts Aziraphale or some shit and boom. I don’t know maybe they’ve become rfiends, slowly encouraging each other whilst they work or something… did I go off tracks? I don’t fucking know. Do I care? Fuck no!
Anyways, could I also perhaps get an opinion to this idea? Because if you decide not to use it (which is totes fine!) i will use it probaboy :>
oh brooo i love office aus!!! AND trapped together? gimme gimme, please write this!!!! i have a few variations of office workers in my fic ideas list but hadn't mingled enemies to lovers in there yet
BUT I DO ALREADY HAVE AN ENEMIES TO LOVERS FIC!!
Mon Horrible Chéri by ghostrat
Apparently, Crowley could ruin his good mood. Crowley was just about the only thing that could ruin it.
“Right. So. You and I, is it?” Aziraphale confirmed, just to be clear.
“That’s right.”
“And how long is this trip, exactly?”
“One full week,” Crowley enunciated too clearly, stretching his lips around the words and sharply clacking his k. “Seven whole days.”
“Great,” Aziraphale breathed.
They both smiled, all teeth and no joy.

Thank you for the tag, @bellaxgiornata! I enjoyed this one!
(Link found here)
What this has hilariously illustrated to me is that I am absolutely a fanfic trope racoon who's willing to read just about anything if I'm hungry enough. Google I did the math and 84% of these are 'sure if I'm in the mood' or higher. And if I trust an author a TON, I may even follow them into the dark lands of Major Character Death and Dark Fic. So if you include those 'if I trust you' tropes, I'll read 93% of these in the right scenarios. 😂 Equally hilarious, I've managed to squeeze 14 of the 16 top tropes for me into TRT. LIVE YOUR DREAMS PEOPLE.
Honestly my NEVER EVER category is really small. Pregnancy + babies are a hard no due to tokophobia (ironically only solidified years ago by trying to WRITE a pregnancy fic I was assigned in a fic challenge), as well as bad memories of being around babies that were hard on my sensory issues. And 'unhappy ending' is out because I generally read as a form of escapism. I'll follow characters through all SORTS of tragic shit as long as there's a promise, or even just an implied 'maybe eventually in time there's a happy ending and they make it through', but if there's no light at the end of the tunnel, I tap out pretty quick.
Tagging those who might enjoy this: @heybluechild @wonderlandmind4 @shouldbestudying41 @stress--relief @burstanddecay @bunnelbie @cellophaine @feelmyskinonyourskin
