I feel like one of #TheGreatDebaters. I am worn out from all the posts I have responded to. 😑 Not really sure why I even had the opportunity to express what I feel is a no brainer NOT an opinion so much. I saw the tape 10+ years ago, as much of a snippet as I could stomach. I haven’t played his music since. TP-2 was my go to CD for all things well, you know. After SEEING 👀 a person I thought was so handsome, sexy and ridiculously talented violate a person that was 14 but looked 10, I just could not hear his voice or look at him without cringing. Most of his victims were black and obviously had no one that cared enough not to let this happen to them. I realized this morning that it’s SELFISH for people to listen to his music because it makes you remember a time in your life that was good or it sounds good. These songs were created during a time of violation for many, how could it sound good? Why would you want him associated with times in your life? How do people separate a monster from his words? His songs are confessions of a pedophile and sexual deviant. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’m tired.
