I'm reading posts that talk about a rewrite of G3 to make it look like G1? Honestly... Why? Let the newcomers have fun with G3. Let children and adolescents feel identified with characters that adapt to new generations.
Instead: why don't they demand a continuation of G1? What do I care about the life of a teenager between 14 and 17 years old? GIVE ME EXISTENTIAL CRISIS OF YOUNG ADULTS BETWEEN 20 AND 30!!!!
Give me a Deuce who feels stuck because he doesn't know what to do with his life!!! Give me a Gil who is looking to move out of his parents' house because he can't stand them anymore!! GIVE ME FRANKIE GOING INTO CRISIS BECAUSE SHE KNOWS HOW TO BE AN ADULT!! IT COST HORRORS FOR HER TO BE A TEENAGER, BEING A FUNCTIONAL ADULT IS KILLING HER!!!
Show how Clawdeen strives to be a dressmaker! What the world of modeling is like!! IT'S NOT AS EASY AS IT LOOKED WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER! Show how Jackson and Holt try to balance their lives so that each one fulfills what they dream of! Show how you organize yourself so that Holt has rehearsals and goes to concerts!! While Jackson manages his college study schedule!! Show Cleo struggling to grow up. This girl was a princess from ancient Egypt and probably had a pre-written life. Now that is not possible. She is grateful but horrified in equal parts because she no longer knows how to continue. Damn, show Toralei trying to achieve a better future but with a background that complicates her life!! OH MY GOD!!! SHE WAS IN A JUVENILE PRISON!!! THAT FILE IS BITTING HIS BUTT IN THE WORST WAY!!
I want characters I can identify with too. But I am no longer a child or teenager, I am an adult. I want adult characters that I can empathize with, identify with, and want to hug because I know how hard it is to try to be a functional adult.
Please leave G3 alone and give me a big sequel to G1.

🔥 porkyy
that boy was not at any point mind controlled, psychologically warped, or rendered "insane" by giygas. giygas didn't have to twist him into something he wasn't. didn't need to put spite, ambition, and ill will into his heart - porky already wore all that on his sleeve. (which is probably why giygas took him on as an ally in the first place.) porky was only "corrupted" insofar as power can corrupt anybody - that's what makes him such a compelling villain.

Emails I have experienced today:
Me, yesterday afternoon: here's this document for you to sign attached as a pdf
Response TO THAT EMAIL this morning: are you going to send that document for me to sign?
Third party: what's the status of this case?
Me: my office has been unable to reach Other Party so we're not sure
Other Party: no one has tried to reach us! The only person who's tried to reach us is (coworker, from my office, who has been trying to reach them)

It is not hard to search out Ratchet. The ambulance is practically in the same place and posture Rung had left him in: hunched over his desk, slogging through the forms and paperwork necessary to open his school. What is harder, though, is interrupting him to inform him of everything that’s been going on. When Ratchet focuses, he’s focused. Nothing short of orbital bombardment can shake him…
Which, Rung supposes, Jazz’s disappearance counts as.
“Uhm, Ratchet? Sorry, I know you’re busy, but, ah— we need to talk. Preferably right now.”
The datapads lay scattered across the desk. He remains hunched over them, but he's barely touched a one of them, hands folded on the desktop. Dummy rests on his shoulder, chirping faintly, but Rung's appearance gets the little drone to dart up, floating over to donk against Rung's helm in a sign of affection.
That's followed by the old medic straightening and turning, revealing nothing at all in his workspace.
He hasn't been bothering anyone... but he's been pretty bothered.
"It's about Jazz, isn't it? Something felt off. Got that weird message from him, then that even weirder one after... I was trying to trust him to do what he had to, but..."
His shoulders tense and he sighs, giving Rung a distressed look.
"Has it gotten worse? Please don't tell me that we've got the worst news. I don't know if my spark can take that."

Let’s talk about how killing James affects Snape in the war and with his roommates. Regardless of any personal feelings for James, he was still a pureblood and Snape was a half-blood; how do the blood purists on Voldemort’s side react to him killing a pureblood, even if that pureblood was a blood-traitor? Also, he committed the homicide in broad daylight in front of dozens of witnesses, obviously not the smartest decision ever made. We also know that several of Snape’s Housemates and presumably some of his roommates were blood purists, since they go on to join the Death Eaters, so how do they react to their half-blood roommate murdering another pureblood, even if they hated said pureblood? It’s not just how Sirius and James’s family react to James being killed, but this is a fairly good representation of the current conflict in Britain and I feel like at least some of Voldemort’s supporters would use this as evidence for why non-purebloods don’t belong in their society
yES!! this is it!!
i have absolutely no doubt that minorities were scapegoated whenever possible. one person fucks up and suddenly it’s a blood purity issue. and at a time when the war was heating up the way it was? entirely possible that even if effie and flea didn’t want to take it further than individual punishment, the incident gets picked up as a way to propel the movement forward
wonder if sirius would’ve unintentionally spearheaded it bc he’s so caught up in his grief he doesn’t realise the consequences of it until years later and he’s swimming in so much regret and guilt by then—
it’s honestly such a common tactic too like,,,the potters might be blood traitors but their pureblood identity can still be weaponised by either side at any time. and if james is dead and his parents are grieving—there’s no one to stop it from happening either. and snape, i swear. he’s in such a vulnerable positions wrt blood/class, and it’s very likely he might just be put on the chopping block as the root of all problems. i feel like this might also introduce like…identity/loyalty conflict amongst *some* people atleast about what they really value, a halfblood with their ideology or a pureblood against them?

Weird little detail in kr0 that's getting to me is the fact that you can wait out the prompt to accept the drink with relative ease,,,,, it doesn't change his actions but something about the option and the acknowledgement being there of the player not wanting to do it (because you're very much supposed to not want him to do it) is like. Idk man it's so very good

god the devart thing. my mind is as foggy as it usually is so i cant really express myself properly but its just like, blow after blow. you know how everything is monopolized, you can count the big websites where you can have an actual reach on your hands, and even then it still hits just as hard when theres another big news on how youre just another product being exploited
just like many things, when ai art was on its way to going viral i never thought of how the prompts were feeding their learning or how submitting your images even more so. i had a handful of posts tell me. just like a lot of every other ever-so-common shady internet practice out there. but its always too late until you realize they already got the best out of you
then its just back to the thoughts of wanting to shut yourself off from everything and then reminding yourself that data is practically immortal and that by being raised in a digital era you're very much already archived, bit by bit, on thousands of places, and everyone else around you that - of course - was also raised the same way still form a clear path to identify key information about you anyways.
naturally you get depressed and like hm oh well. im fucked. im gonna do something else and poof heres news about the one little site you still thought was ok, not the best, but that still has the same profit reason any other does and by the time you finish reading the title youre already back down to the dirt again

No offence but I feel like some people got a little too comfortable with telling people to touch grass and swung all the way round to just straight up shaming anyone who might have a less active social life than them to feel better about themselves. “She should be at the club” was a really funny meme until people started acting like fucking middle school bullies towards people who don’t go out with their friends a lot. All those drinking/drugs/sex milestone polls were fun to engage with until it became a wierd circlejerk making fun of people who haven’t done those things before. People on twitter are once again dogpiling someone for wanting queer social spaces that don’t revolve around alcohol or loud music and telling them it’s their own fault for not having friends.
Like I get that nightclubs and sex have strong ties to queer culture and are often the first targets in the hellscape of respectability politics. It’s important we remember our roots and protect these spaces from conservative scrutiny. I mean that. They are important. But just on a surface level it seems like people are starting to see having an inactive social life as some kind of moral failing which…it’s not. I feel like an insane person for feeling like I have to say this on the fucking queer autism website but like. You aren’t inherently a bad person if you don’t have friends. You aren’t “falling behind” if you haven’t had your first kiss in your 20s or never done drugs. The real world isn’t a movie. And if you see someone who doesn’t go out much and instinctually think “wow what a terminally online loser. I bet their social life sucks because they’re a sheltered creep and not because of systemic barriers beyond their control” you need to have a long hard look at why you feel that way.
There are very real barriers that prevent isolated people from finding community and connection. Do you think you’re superior for being able to breach them? Time, money, sobriety, accessibility, none of those factors were a problem for you, so it shouldn’t be for them, right? Right?

"You're a darling thing, you know that?"
He leans his head further into the touch, optics darkening completely as he lets out a faint sigh, humming softly as he reaches out to pull Optimus close, trying so hard not to dislodge those hands from his face. The old medic's optics go fully dim.
Optimus is such a comfort, and such a delight. How can he not love him? It would be like trying not to breathe.
"I don't know where I'd be without you at this point."
