Update following Robin to Envision:
Tumblr media
Both Sam Bird and Robin Frijns are officially going to be announced right after the season has ended. René Rast his departure from McLaren will also be announced by the end of this month
DS Penske: I think they're both staying on. It would make sense imo and neither drivers have been rumoured elsewhere
Nio 333: Unsure about them. They could remain with the same line-up. Afaik Dan Ticktum isn't rumoured somewhere else, Sergio Sette Camara is in talks with other teams, but not sure if anything is coming from that.
ABT Cupra: Both had contracts however they're both free to leave. Robin really wanted to leave and now is leaving to Envision. Potential drivers in his seat could be Kelvin van der Linde or Adrien Tambay
NEOM McLaren: Jake Hughes is likely staying on and Rene Rast is leaving FE completely. He'll likely be focussing on a DTM/WEC double with BMW. Sam Bird is very likely to get his seat.
Maserati MSG: I remember reading Edo has a contract for next year, though contracts don't always mean that much. Günther could be leaving to return to a team like Andretti or join Nissan or Envision. Meanwhile Nyck de Vries is rumoured to maybe join them. He was meant to race for them this season but an F1 seat came in between. Felipe Drugovich has also impressed during rookie sessions so he could also be a candidate. Also added Sergio as he was among the list but I'm unsure if he's actually in contention for a seat there.
Mahindra: Mehri is definitely leaving, and now di Grassi also seems to be in discussions with teams such as Nissan and Andretti. Mahindra needs stability if they want to improve but I don't think someone like Lucas wants to stay with this performance. Norman Nato could be joining them, he doesn't have too many options as he's being booted from Nissan. Also speculated could be Jordan King or Jehan Daruvala. Both have done rookie tests with the team.
Jaguar TCS: Mitch Evans is staying and getting a new teammate in Nick Cassidy. Sam Bird is leaving to McLaren
Tag Heuer Porsche: Both drivers, António Félix da Costa and Pascal Wehrlein are likely to stay on.
Envision: Envision: Buemi is staying and Cassidy is leaving to Jaguar. Frijns is taking his seat.
Nissan: Sacha Fenestraz is likely staying on. Norman Nato seems to be booted from the team. However the second seat seems to belong to a lot of other drivers. It's a question who ends up there.
Avalanche Andretti: Jake Dennis is staying and Andre Lotterer is leaving to completely focus on WEC with Porsche. For this seat many drivers are also rumoured.

Norman Nato Sets Pace in Second Practice for Diriyah E-Prix
In a thrilling showcase of speed and precision, Norman Nato of Andretti Global emerged as the frontrunner in the second practice session for the Diriyah E-Prix. With his final lap of the session, Nato clinched the top spot, setting a blistering pace that left his competitors trailing behind.
The daytime session, while offering valuable track time, did not entirely mirror the cooler nighttime conditions awaiting drivers in today's crucial qualifying and race sessions. Nonetheless, Nato managed to clock a best time of 1m13.584s, edging out Maximilliam Guenther of Maserati MSG by a mere 0.031s.
The top five positions showcased the diversity of drivetrains in the competition, with Jake Dennis of Andretti, powered by Porsche, securing the third-fastest time. Sebastien Buemi of Envision Racing bounced back from battery issues encountered on Friday to claim the fourth position, while Mitch Evans of Jaguar TCS Racing rounded out the top five with a strong finish as the session drew to a close.
Stoffel Vandoorne of DS Penske narrowly missed the top five by a razor-thin margin of 0.002s, highlighting the intense competition among the drivers. Oliver Rowland and Sacha Fenestraz of Nissan delivered impressive performances, securing the seventh and eighth positions respectively after a late surge in the session.
Lucas Di Grassi of Abt Cupra and Nick Cassidy of Jaguar completed the top-10 lineup, setting the stage for an electrifying battle among the contenders.
Further down the grid, Dan Ticktum of ERT and Jean-Eric Vergne of DS Penske showcased their skills, positioning themselves for a competitive run in the upcoming sessions. Sam Bird of NEOM McLaren and Nico Mueller of Abt Cupra claimed the 13th and 14th spots, setting the stage for a challenging race ahead.
Pascal Wehrlein emerged as the highest-placed factory Porsche entry in 15th position, marking a significant contrast to the performance of the customer Andretti entries. Antonio Felix da Costa of TAG Heuer Porsche faced a challenging session, finishing 22nd and last, sandwiched between Jake Hughes of NEOM McLaren and Sergio Sette Camara of ERT.
Eduardo Mortara of Mahindra, Robin Frijns of Envision, Nyck de Vries of Mahindra, and Jehan Daruvala of Maserati rounded off the grid, setting the stage for a thrilling showdown in the upcoming qualifying and race sessions of the Diriyah E-Prix.

If you’ve ever wondered what FE drivers actually dislike each other, here you go! (Just kidding. I had nothing better to do than to stalk everyone’s instagrams and see who follows who and this is what I found out.) Shout out to @dilfgrassi for humouring me!
Quick Facts:
Turvey is the only driver not verified.
only 2 drivers don't follow da Costa (Turvey + Buemi) and Rowland (Sims + Wehrlein) making them the most popular.
only 4 drivers follow Sims (di Grassi, Gunther, da Costa + Rowland) and Ticktum (Wehrlein, Dennis, Askew + Rowland) making them the least popluar.
the only teammates that don't follow each other are NI0.
Sims doesn't follow Rowland but Rowland follows Sims.
Sims only follows 4 drivers (the deCheetah's and the Rokits).
Rowland follows everyone but Frijns & Wehrlein.
Gunther, Sette Camara + Dennis follow Bird but he doesn't follow them.
Sette Camara follows Buemi, Wehrlein, Lotterer + Vergne but they don't follow him.
Askew follows di Grassi, Buemi, Lotterer, Giovinazzi + di Vries but they don't follow him.

Formula E: Evans wins Saturday round of the Berlin double-header
Formula E: Evans wins Saturday round of the Berlin double-header By Balazs Szabo on 22 Apr 2023, 17:25 Mitch Evans came out on top of a chaotic and wild opening Berlin race to lead a Jaguar one-two in front of his teammate Sam Bird with home favourite Maximilian Guenther securing third place. F1Technical’s Balázs Szabó reports on Round 7 of the 2023 FIA Formula E Championship from the Berlin Tempelhod paddock. Although Envision Virgin’s Sebastien Buemi secured a Formula E record 16th pole position for the first round of the Berlin double-header, the Swiss driver lost the lead at the start of the race with Dan Ticktum jumping from P4 to the lead with a great getaway. Buemi followed Ticktum with Sam Bird and Stoffel Vandoorne lining up behind the Swiss racer. Maserati’s Guenther managed to improve his starting position by three places, crossing the finish line in P5 at the end of the opening lap. Surprisingly, Ticktum activated his first attack mode on Lap 3 which cost him the lead as Bird managed to jump to the front of the field. The next laps saw Bird, Guenther and Buemi use their first attack mode as well. Former champion Lucas di Grassi used both his attack modes within the opening four laps of the race. Ticktum, Buemi and Bird mimicked the Brazilian driver by going though the attack zone for the second time on Lap 5 and 6 respectively. The unusual use of attack modes was down to the fact that the Berlin race was expected to be tight on energy, forcing drivers to use their power boost whiel they could. On Lap 10, Sergio Sette Camara ran into the back of Guenther’s Maserati while Rene Rast crashed into the the back of the Brazilian’s car just moments later. Although the race direction first hesitated, Scott Elkins decided to send the safety car out on the 2.4km track on the next lap. When the Bruno Correia-driver Porsche Taycan left the track, it was Jake Dennis who led the field in front of Edoardo Mortara with Buemi, Vandoorne, Evans and Bird following the leading duo. The next laps saw several overtaking moves with drivers following each other extremely closely. On Lap 20, the safety car was deployed for the second time Vandoorne and Ticktum collided on the exit of Turn 3, with their damaged cars left stranded on the circuit. The action was resumed three laps later with Evans leading Buemi, Guenther, Mortara, Bird, Dennis, Pascal Wehrlein, Felix da Costa and Nico Mueller. The next laps saw a spectacular fight for the lead between Evans, Buemi and Bird. On Lap 31, Dennis outbraked himself, losing the rear of his his car before finding the wall in contact. Da Costa was caught up by the stray Andretti with the Portuguese losing the front wing of his car picking up severe damage that forced him to retire despite his impressive late-race pace. The FIA race direction decided to extend the 40-lap race by three laps due to the safety car interruptions. On Lap 40, Evans closed in on Buemi and managed to overtake his Swiss rival. Buemi was unable to fight back with the Kiwi building up a small gap for the dying minutes of the race. His teammate Bird also closed in on the now second-placed Buemi, but he seemed to wait for the right moment to launch a real attack on the former Formula E champion. On the last lap, Bird overtook Buemi for second at Turn 6. While the pair fought for P2, Guenther closed in on them as well, and managed to pass Buemi just before they crossed the finish line. via F1Technical.net . something I've been thinking about recently, is what hogwarts houses the fe drivers would be in, what are your opinions, I'm curious
Hmm, that is a good question. Apologies for the late reply, I've had to put some thought into it.
I'm going to do it by teams alphabetically just cuz it's easier for me to look at. I am also not a massive HP fan, so my knowledge of the houses comes from the films, what I've been told and what I've seen on Tumblr, so apologies if I get anything wrong.
I am also only going to do the current 21/22 driver grid, otherwise it'll get too complicated and I don't know the first four grids so I can't make a good assumption.
Feel free to add your ideas!
Avalance Andretti
Jake Dennis - I've always found Jake really sweet. He doesn't seem to be as robust as some of the others so Imma gonna say Hufflepuff for him.
Oilver Askew - I don't really know Oli A all that well unfortunately, I couldn't even tell you where he comes in the WDC currently so Imma have to default on this and say Gryffindor
Dragon/Penske
Sergio Sette Camara - Sergio's always seemed pretty quiet. I don't see a lot about him, so I'll have to say Hufflepuff.
Antonio Giovanizzi - Hufflepuff. I'm sure we're all agreed, moving on
DS Techeetah
Jean-Eric Vergne - JEV gives me massive Slytherin vibes, not cuz he's evil or anything but he just gives me those vibes
Antonio Felix Da Costa - He's a bit of a joker, so Imma say Gryffindor
Envision
Robin Frijns - Very laid-back, so Imma say Hufflepuff again. He seems like he wouldn't mind
Nick Cassidy - Again, I don't really know much about him, but he did get a pole last year so I'm going to say Slytherin for pure ambition as a rookie last year
Jaguar
Mitch Evans - Again, based on sheer ambition, I'll say Slytherin. I mean p9 to win, twice? That's surely Slytherin vibes
Sam Bird - Hmm, kind of hard. I'll say Ravenclaw mainly on the basis is he's one of the longest-racing drivers in FE so he's gained a lot of knowledge.
Mahindra
Alexander Sims - Ravenclaw, based on the fact Dario said he was one of the smartest drivers on the grid. He does also give off Hufflepuff vibes as well, but Imma stick with Ravenclaw
Oliver Rowland - Another difficult one, but I'll say Gryffindor because he's made some moves
Mercedes
Nyck de Vries - difficult, but I'll say Gryffindor based on him being a massive ball of energy and I don't think anything can stop him
Stoffel Vandoorne - Once again I'm torn between Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, but I think I'll say he's Hufflepuff based don't he fact he's really sweet and fairly laid-back most of the time, but he does have Ravenclaw vibes
NIO
Oilver Turvey - Gryffindor. You have to be to drive that car, sorry mate.
Dan Ticktum - Slytherin. Need I say more
Nissan
Sebastien Buemi - Like Sam Bird, Seb has been in FE a long time, so I think it's only fair he too is a Ravenclaw
Max Gunther - Gryffindor, he's quite punchy when he has a good race
Venturi
Edo Mortara - Hufflepuff based on the fact he said his biggest weakness is his daughter and he melted my heart
Lucas Di Grassi - Slytherin. Needs no elaboration
Porsche
Pascal Wehrlein - Imma say Gryffindor because he just gives me those vibes
Andre Lotterer - Gryffindor again. He just has those vibes, I can't explain it
Let me know what you think!

Formula E 2023 Mexico: Jake Dennis wins
Formula E 2023 Mexico: Jake Dennis wins
The qualifications have not changed compared to last year. We make two groups and the first 4 compete in duels, round of 16, etc. In this little game it is Di Grassi who came out the best. The Mahindra driver beats Jake Dennis for Andretti in the final. The qualifying surprises are Ticktum and Fenestraz who made it into the top 8. The route has changed and the times are not comparable with last…

Monaco ePrix Race Review
After the incredible race we saw here last year for Formula E, it was going to be hard to live up to that this time around. It probably wasn’t quite as good, but was still great to watch, as we did see battles through the field, as well as up front.
It has been a difficult start to the year for Vandoorne, who has shown a lot of pace, without being able to translate it into good finishes. Some of that was down to issues with Mercedes race pace, some was his own doing, but luck also played its part. It all came together in Monaco however, as he gradually made his way forwards in the race, saving energy where he could, and was unstoppable at the end. Even with the Safety Car coming when he had attack mode, he was able to bring it home to win, and kickstart his title fight. De Vries continues his difficult run of races, with him once again falling back from where he started. It is still unclear where the problem is, it could just be that he isn’t aggressive enough. The fact that other teams didn’t execute well in the race, shows that Mercedes still have work to do, if they want to keep going this way.
It was a dominant qualifying for Evans, with him comfortably winning every duel he did, and doing the fastest lap of the weekend. Therefore, bearing in mind the team had incredible efficiency in Rome, there was a fear he could run away with the race. It turned out that their efficiency wasn’t as good here, and leading the first third of the race put him behind on energy, then it took the whole rest of the race for him to recover it. His race pace was probably equal to those around him, but you could see he was gutted to miss out on the win here again. After a poor qualifying, Bird got caught up in the chaos in the mid pack, and was forced to retire with damage. Jaguar still look formidable right now, as Mitch continues to close on the title lead.
Vergne finished where he started, in third, but found himself bouncing around the top 5 all race long. I am not sure if they quite had the pace of the front two, instead they used attack modes to make their way forwards. Nevertheless, he is still well in the title fight. Da Costa had a great race, making a huge amount of progress, and getting close to the podium places. Frijns does what he does best, sitting up front, maximising his results. It did look like he had better pace then the Techeetah’s , especially given he has the fastest lap of the race. He played his attack modes very well, which nearly got him ahead of Evans.
Rather surprisingly for Di Grassi, he had a quiet race, sitting in the front pack early on, before dropping back as the pace heated up at the front. This does hint that the Mercedes powertrain is not the best out there, but I am sure they will rally and come back. As Cassidy himself said, he needs to stop qualifying at the back, as he clearly has the race pace to fight for podiums too, like his teammate. If he can sort that out, the team could have a shot at the team’s championship.
Buemi was able to get a few more points for Nissan, in what is clearly their worst season ever in the sport. At least their efficiency seems to be improving, as this might be the worst track on the calendar for that. Hopefully Sebastien can soon show his skills near the front once again. Andretti looked promising in practice, yet couldn’t bring it together in qualifying, and both started outside the top 10. Askew fell back from a better starting spot, whereas the more experienced Dennis, could climb into the top 10, but his title chances are almost gone.
Sims just missed out on points, as Mahindra try to get back near the front again. Rowland, his teammate, had a promising qualifying and start to the race, but got too bold with Lotterer, and ruined both their races. He needs to calm down in wheel-to-wheel battles. Ticktum was near to yet more points for NIO, as he gets to grips with this series. Dragon Penske too couldn’t get anything from this weekend.
Porsche had an absolute disaster of a race, their pace was incredible, but it all went wrong when Wehrlein, who was leading and pulling away, suffered a complete shutdown, which ended his race. These sorts of issues will curtail any titles chances for them, as he may well have been on to win at that point. Lotterer was unlucky with what happened, as he was an innocent bystander.
With a clear gap emerging in the driver’s championship behind Frijns, the storyline for this season may be beginning to show itself. All 4 of those teams at the front have been quick at Berlin, where we go next, so it is anyone’s game, as per usual in this tight series!

Based on the latest the Race article I have this now
Tumblr media
it mentioned several drivers in talk with several teams so most i just added to all of those teams. But like obviously not Norman to Nissan cuz he's getting booted. So anyway:
DS Penske: I think they're both staying on. It would make sense imo and neither drivers have been rumoured elsewhere
Nio 333: Unsure about them. They could remain with the same line-up. Afaik Dan Ticktum isn't rumoured somewhere else, Sergio Sette Camara is in talks with other teams, but not sure if anything is coming from that.
ABT Cupra: Both have contracts however they're both free to leave. Robin really wants to leave the team and is rumoured to join Envision. Nico hasn't really been rumoured so far. There is a chance they retain the same line-up but if Robin does leave there will be a free seat there.
Envision: Buemi is staying and Cassidy is leaving to Jaguar. It's rumoured Frijns could take Cassidy's seat. He's definitely the top favourite. Also rumoured was Jack Aitken, he has a relationship with the team, however he'd have to choose between IMSA and FE and I think he'd choose IMSA. Also Maximilian Günther as he's rumoured to be speaking with several teams.
