1. gideon: twitter. she livetweets everything she does, retweets every new meme, gains a following by making terrible jokes that routinely go viral. she gets a lot of dms (some of them horny)

2. harrow: tumblr. she has an aesthetic blog, a mix of gloomy/goth and religious imagery, she forgets to hide her likes and you can see she liked a bunch of self-insert fanfiction marked ‘y/n x ninth cavalier’

3. nona: tiktok. she makes funny videos with every dog she meets, but her real clout comes from the videos where she eats erasers or chews on some wood, people keep wondering if it’s some kind of trick or she really does eat them (she does)

4. ianthe & corona: instagram. they have a joint account and they post almost exclusively selfies where they’re shown wearing the same outfit. they get a lot of sponsorship offers but most of the big ones try to convince corona to ditch ianthe and make a solo account. corona blocks them

5. ortus: facebook. he has 3 friends: his mum, his late dad’s account handled by his mum because she refuses to delete it, and matthias nonius. he posts exclusively long verbose extracts of his poems and gets exactly 3 likes (his mum, his late dad, nonius, but nonius is the only one who actually reads them)

6. jod: twitch. obviously. heartbreaking: guy who claims to hate the internet is always online. livestreams for 8 hours a day every day

7. palamedes: linkedln. very professional account, curated of course by cam

8. camilla: absolutely zero social media presence of her own

good news for you if you are interested there are so many arcane fics of every single type you could imagine the fandom is HUGE and was very active, it is toning down a bit now though. but there were periods when certain fics were being uploaded weekly that people would like all be refreshing together for the updates and talking about it. mel x silco's hot bodyguard sevika is a rare pair fave and OOH BOY have i seen some ART of them. anyways if you plan on diving into arcane fandom at all it's mostly active on twitter but always ridiculous drama so tbh i'd recommend not going on there or just peacefully observing from the sidelines! sorry u didn't ask for any of this i just got excited seeing a fellow tlt blog arcaneposting as those have been the two fandoms i've been most heavily involved in the past couple years :) no need to respond just wanted to pass this on, have a great day!!!

Trend Carefully 2

Highlighting even more important trendline tests currently underway across the financial markets, a development which suggests this is a key juncture.

Last week, we took the occasion to publish the set of charts from our weekly #TrendlineWednesday  Twitter feature in a blog post. The reason being — the present number and importance of major trendline tests throughout the financial markets suggested that a key juncture in the markets may be at hand. After a week of chopping around (albeit, in a very volatile fashion), most of those key trendline tests are still in play. Furthermore, there are numerous other key trendlines being tested at the moment that either emerged this week or which we didn’t get a chance to share last week. So, we’ll share them now.

First off is our pick for trendline of the week from one of the most heavily watched sectors in the U.S. market. Namely, it is the KBW Bank Index (BKX), which is testing its post-2009 Up trendline.

As we mentioned last week, it’s not just the domestic trendlines being tested right now. Many international markets are undergoing key trendline tests of their own. Not the least of these is the MSCI ACWI ex-US Index, which is testing an intersection of 2 major, longer-term trendlines — the post-2009 Up trendline and the broken post-2007 Down trendline.

Numerous individual country markets are also testing key trendlines as well, including the Australian ASX-200 which is testing its post-2009 Up trendline.

Also testing its post-2009 Up trendline is the Indian Nifty 50 Index.

And reaching back further, Spain’s benchmark IBEX-35 Composite is testing a multi-decade Up trendline, stemming back to 1992.

It’s not just equities either. The bond market is also exhibiting some interesting trendline action at the moment. Last week, we looked at the bond yields testing uptrend support. This week, we look at bond prices testing downtrend resistance. Specifically, the popular iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT) is testing its post-2016 Down trendline.

Like we suggested last week, “the message behind all of these important tests is that this is likely a critical juncture in the market. If, in the case of the stock indices, the tests are successful, a solid rally may finally take hold after the recent correction. If not, it could be a long way down.”

Another 1% gap up, China, Congress, and the NFL. My thoughts.

Another 1% gap up for the markets this morning about 30 min before the open.

The numbers are a bit different than yesterday. @CL is +.11% and Vix.x is -4.21%. Both much lower than yesterday. However, TLT is -1.25%.

That, in my opinion, offsets the other two so that most likely we at least get a hold on the gap today. Watch Vix .x, if it gets in the -8% range we most likely will be off to the races today.

Much of the news propelling this is China Trade. Recently the news has been positive. The problem is we are not privy to what is really going on, but its the appearance rather than the reality that moves the markets in many cases.

Another thing resistance in SPY was at 294.04. We were in a trading range for about a month. It looks like we are going to break out to the upside with SPY sitting at 296.83 right now. What you want to watch is the follow-through.

In other words, do we hold the breakout, or reverse back below 294.04 this week. My thought is it’s more likely we reverse back. The news flow on China has been a roller coaster. Congress is coming back, and that will in all likely hood spook the markets. One thing about Congress is they are a very reliable source of chaos these days:)

I have on a number of swing trades right now, and will most likely be managing them. As far as new trades, I will be very selective right here.

The NFL starts tonight! I am in the Westgate Supercontest again this season and will be posting my usual rundowns on Sunday morning on this site. Subscribers, get my 5 picks after 11:00 on Sat. Also, I have sent out 2 plays this weekend in the NFL.

The entries in the contest is approaching the 3,000 mark. To win it you will need over 70%. To cash over 60%. Let’s see if I can get some positive variance this year. On an EV year in and year out, betting the NFL, 54 to 55% is the best you can hope for long term. The books are pretty sharp putting out NFL lines.

Contrary the public is where the value is usually. As they keep the lines at a spot where there is value. It used to be much better, but the “sharps” have changed the landscape a bit. It’s not as easy as it used to be:)
