An Inktober-inspired month-long event where every day will be assigned a prompt that you can write or draw something for!

All prompts have to be TMNT related, obviously, but they can be of any iteration, including fan made ones.

Your art doesn’t have to be done on time and you don’t have to do all prompts. First and foremost, have fun!

Since this month ends with Halloween, I expect some art may involve horror themes, and if so, will be tagged appropriately. This is an appeal especially to writers, as I’m not sure I’ll be able to read every single piece, to tag your works with proper warnings, please.

@tmntober-2023 day 10: under appreciated non-turtles!

Have John Bishop! Or as he’s named in my AU, John Bishop Toast.

Yeah. Bishop is Toast and Gavin’s “father.” Sort of father anyway… one could technically also call him their older brother.

He is similar to the 2003 version of him, and has a lovely cloning hobby on the side. That’s where Toast and Gavin come from. Their both Bishop’s clones who he raised as his sons due to seeing potential in the two super soldiers.

There is also a lot more to him that I won’t get in to now, but I felt like sharing that fact about him and the Toast twins’ connection.

tmntober day 3: Teeth

Donny pulled back his lip so he could get a better look in the mirror.

Yep, his teeth were definitely longer. He reached up with his other hand to feel them. They're sharper too.

He sighed and let go of his mouth, letting expression fall. Memories of the last few weeks were fuzzy at best, but they had certainly left their mark on him.

Was this permanent? Donny wished it wasn't, but he doubted that his teeth and claws would ever shrink back to their former size. The stretch marks will fade, but he has a feeling he'll always know they're there.

“Hey! There you are, bro!” Mikey suddenly appeared behind him, slinging an arm around Donatello’s shoulder and leaning his head against his own.

He watched their expressions thoughtfully and Donny tried not to look like he wasn’t just worrying over his changed appearance.

“Hm… y’know, between you and me, Don? I think we’re the handsome ones of the family.”

Donny couldn’t help a burst of laughter. Mikey just grinned at their reflections and hugged his brother.

Draxum knew, intellectually, the age of his creations. How could he not? He had been incredibly thorough when gathering all information relevant to the turtles. However, it was never important to him before. Teenagers or not, they were still old enough. Old enough for him to not go easy on them, old enough to die in his righteous war.

Ever since Michelangelo provided him assistance, however, he has started seeing the turtles with new eyes. 

It started when he came over to the lair one day, returning a bag of Michelangelo’s things that he left lying about Draxum’s apartment. Leonardo was on what they called a "skateboard", going back and forth between two ramps. He slowed to a stop when he noticed the Baron, kicking the board up into his hand. “What’s up Barry,” Leonardo strolled over, investigating the bag Draxum brought with him, “Whatcha got there?” Draxum moved out of his way before he could poke the bag. 

“What I’ve got , Leonardo, is everything your little brother kindly left at my adobe after his last visit. Now where is Michelangelo, I must give these to him as soon as possible.” Craning his neck around the curious turtle, he struggled to get a glimpse of the orange banded one. 

“I can take that off your hands, no problemo,” Leonardo tried taking the pack off his shoulders, causing Draxum slide out of Leo's grasp . 

“No, I will be taking this to Michelangelo. I refuse to risk these not reaching him.” Headless of his creations protesting, Draxum pushed past him and moved further into the lair. It seems he’ll have to find the turtle himself. 

It also seemed as though Leonardo was not done with him yet. The turtle followed him, asking inane questions and flitting around Draxum like a hummingbird. Draxum was almost certain he was doing it just to get on his nerves.

When Draxum got to what he assumed was Michelangelo's room, he interrupted the still blabbering turtle, “Don’t you ever just shut up ?”

Surprisingly, that did shut Leonardo up. Draxum breathed a sigh of relief and knocked on Michelangelo’s door. He didn’t notice Leo storming off, his bottom lip slightly quivering. He was too distracted by Michelangelo’s hug, which caused him to stumble back from the force. While he didn’t believe in love in the individual sense, he thought this was close to it.

The next time Draxum went to the lair, Leonardo refused to speak with him. The slider had a scowl smeared across his face every time Draxum looked his way, the only noise he made were derisive hums whenever Draxum said something. It was annoying. 

After about an hour of enduring the torment, Draxum marched over to Leonardo, lifting him up by his shell. “Please explain to me why you must continue those wretched hums .” He commanded. 

Leonardo rolled his eyes. 

Draxum growled, frustrated. “Leonardo, I will not tolerate this silence much longer. Tell me why you have insisted on being such an annoyance.”

This close to the turtle, he could notice some tears building up in the corner of his eyes. Leonardo roughly wiped them away, angrily glaring at Draxum.

“List here, Goat Man ,” he sneered, “I’m just doing what you told me to: shutting up.”

Draxum looked at him incredulously, “When did I?... oh . You’re still holding onto that?”

That was a week ago! More than enough time has passed for him to work through his feelings. He is acting like a child .

…

Oh. 

Draxum dropped Leo down unceremoniously. 

“Hey, what was that about?” Leo asked.

He uncertainty patted the child's head. Leo shoved the Baron's hand off his head, glaring at him. “What are you doing? ” 

He had no idea. He just realized why Splinter had been so against them fighting. Why Leo begged for his life upon that rooftop. He is merely a teenager, a kid . 

Draxum wished he had understood that sooner.
