so much of the fandom sees mafuyu as trans and i feel so out if the loop. i was hoping you could explain it to me like its a conspiracy theory (in a long-winded but fun way)(but only if your up for it)

Ok lets start with: Mafuyu sang Villain with Mizuki, which is an explicitly trans song. With Mafuyu themselves singing lines like:

And a line that implies Mizuki is making Mafuyu trans just by being near (at least how i read this one in a duo)

And both Mizuki and Mafuyu feeling the same way about their life

This is actually a very important thing about mizumafu, and trans mafuyu. They have very similar views of themselves, even more before transition Mizuki.

Not caring about themselves, or their lives, like there isnt much she wants to live for right now.

Mafuyu doesn't have much feelings about her appearance, doesnt like it, but doesnt dislike it either, it just exists, as if just a vessel for her. Stuff like this makes Mafuyu extremely relatable for trans people.

Plus, she does have a chosen name, Yuki, which is a gender neutral name might i add.

Plus, Mafuyu is forced to be someone she's not, which again is very relatable for trans people.

Idk man i just jumped on the bandwagon and had fun, because in the end, it is just for fun. Its something we know the game wont do, but its canon on most of our hearts.

When Mizuki comes out as trans, Mafuyu is originally supportive but confused because he (Mafuyu) doesn't understand why someone wouldn't want to be seen as a guy. This causes Mafuyu to experience his transmasculine awakening. Ena sees all this going on and starts realizing that they might not feel super comfortable as a woman, either. Meanwhile, Kanade is just intensely researching the transgender community so that she can help her friends make trans music as the Token Cis Person™

really obscure, but hear me out.

in the egirl cards (ena focus, inandesu) mafuyu's card depicts her reaching out to a cat sculpture with this bunny ear thing and a bow. the cat is blue and the bunny things are pink.

OKAY OAKY SO. so. there's this animation by this thai (i think) artist, zemyata. hes done mvs for jpop artists recently, most notably eve in the washing machine song? he made this fan mv for an album by takayan, who is also pretty well-known in the jpop area i'd say? and its about trans stuff, its a really really good animation. its called its ok to envy btw.

POINT IS. IN ZEMYATA's animation, genders are depicted through animals. A BLUE CAT AND A PINK RABBIT. the main character has a blue rabbit heart, which is out of the norm. in the end, the main character puts a pink rabbit ear headband behind their own cat ears after accepting themselves and burning a lot of stuff.

so wqhat does this mean for mafuyu??. i have no idea. but heres to the mfy trans agenda!!!
