and she comes to save him from this nightmare AS SHE’S DONE COUNTLESS TIMES before  .  his eyes have watered  .  tears threaten to drip from long lashes  .  it’s times like these where he’s most grateful to have her by his side  .  he craves the soothing warmth of her hand  ,  and so he takes it in his own  .  flesh on flesh  ,  hot blood coursing through pale veins  .  bucky can only offer a nod in response  .

it’s not his choice ,  but if it was  ,  he’d keep her to himself  .  it’s selfish  ,  yes  ,  but she’s the only person who can understand that THEY DESERVE BE A LITTLE SELFISH  ,  the only person who doesn’t bind him down with restrictions for the matter of his safety.      he’s the only person who can harm him  .
