Just a little PSA for those waiting for VHI Vol 3, I’m not going to put it out during SpookFest because honestly I'm getting so stressed out trying to get these fics done in time and I'm just getting so jaded with VHI which is absolutely not what I want to do because I love my weird, niche little vampire series 🥺 so I'm putting it aside for now. 

I will eventually write them with the SpookFest prompts, but for this week (because it's honestly crazy hectic and I never have anything on, but the one time I do and it's all in the same week)I'm just gonna write some short and simple little mini fics (I usually say drabbles but that's strictly 100 words and we all know thats never happening 😅) totally unrelated to VHI, and then I can get back to writing whatever I actually have inspiration for which will be so nice 🥰

Hello my lovely nerds!! 2022 is here as is my January fic list!! I’m doing one of these every month so that you know what my priorities are for the month, and hopefully that means that you know I’m working towards fic updates rather than being in the dark as to when I’ll ever update again 😂 January is a bit of a busy month for me, but I’m hoping to be able to get you some fics out regardless, so here is what you can hopefully expect to see from me this month:

JANUARY PRIORITIES:

Little Hands, Big Hearts - I swear to god I will finish this this month, I know exactly where it’s going, I just need to actually write it jksldjgldfg

VHI 2.09: Achy Breaky Heart - VHI is approached by a young woman with a unique problem that has them all contemplating the lengths they would go to for love

JANUARY HOPEFULS:

Surrendering Control - God I really want to continue this but I have other non smutty fics to prioritise first dlghjdf

Code Of Conduct - There is one final part left in this to write another Triple Treble part and then it is DONE but I have so much to write and it keeps getting pushed back sdklfghlfdg but fingers crossed it’ll get done this month 😅

Run Don’t Walk Away -  Beca runs her family with an iron fist, but when a debt payment comes not as the money she is owed but rather as a beautiful redhead will Beca be able to protect both of them from the secrets she keeps?

MARCH PRIORITES:

VHI Vol #2 - so I basically need to replan the last of this arc because I know where I’m going with it now but it needs planning out properly, and then I should have another fic out for you before the end of the month hopefully

All I Have Left Is You - I can see myself finishing this at long last this month honestly, there’s some biggggg emotional moments for me to write yet that are going to make me (and probably you kfldjldfg) cry but it will be WORTH IT 😂

Run Don’t Walk Away ch. 2 - more of this for sure, I have many an idea for it, but it’ll get dark af just a warning

Day 27 pt.2 - due to various threats over this drabble from last month flkgdfjkgf I’m turning it into a a full blown fic because there’s no way I can resolve it in just the one more part, but I’ll probs only write one this month fdlkdljgfd

MARCH HOPEFULS:

A whole lot of smut basically kfdjgflgd I have so many ongoing ones honestly, so hopefully I’ll make a dint in them in-between various aus 😂

Now obviously Volume 3 wouldn't be published until Horror Week at the end of October, so do you want me to pace myself with the last of this series and eek it out until about August hopefully, or do you want ne to just crack on and it might end in like July or something (also it might end in like September because we all know getting my brain to stay focused on one thing is a TASK dkfjjsndj)???

God can you believe it’s February tomorrow?? Seriously how are we already a month into 2022?? Anyway, a new month means a new fic list, and I SWEAR I’m going to get better at sticking to these skldghjflg, life just ends up getting in the way (and by that I mean I get very distracted by Paper Mario and don’t do anything else but play it for pretty much a whole week djlhfgfh)

FEBRUARY PRIORITIES

VHI 2.09 Achy Breaky Heart - a 2(?) parter for valentines in which they all debate the lengths they’d go to for love or something less cheesy idk, but this is last months and this months rolled into one because I just haven’t had time for VHI lately 😅 (complete)

Surrendering Control ch. 2 - I swear to GOD I am writing this this month if it kills me, I want to make it less than 14k this time, but also I’m at around 4k and they’ve only just gotten to breakfast so... 

All I Have Left Is You ch. 5 - I am updating this fic, I swear I haven’t forgotten it, I have so many plans for it, it’s just ended up falling by the wayside in the end (complete)

Run Don’t Walk Away ch. 1 - aka the mafia au, I want to get this started this month, it might be slow going to get it done, but it is getting going soon, the whole thing is planned out and honestly I lowkey love it lhfhlfg (complete)

FEBRUARY HOPEFULS

Code Of Conduct ch. 3 - there’s literally only one more part to write for this I just keep running out of time to write it 😅

I’m trying to keep it short and specific, manageable goals because I will inevitably end up procrastinating and not doing as much as I wanted to, so this way I can see that it’s not (hopefully) a ridiculous amount of writing to do... I think anyway hsdlfhgldf who even knows at this point 😂

Me neither... with that in mind, I just wanted to let you guys know what the fic schedule looks like for the rest of the year, because things have shifted a bit and priorities have changed because I’ve been ill for pretty much the last 4 weeks so writing has been painfully slow jdfhgfdg 

DECEMBER PRIORITES:

VHI 2.08, Wish I Was Stronger - Chloe is forced to face the reality of life without her powers when the rest of her team fall into a trap

VHI 2.09, Oh Come All Ye Frightful - When the Other Realm sets its sights on the innocent children of their realm, VHI must work quickly to save Christmas

Rare Pair Week 2021 - Day 1 to 7

Feels Like The First Time - Chloe has taught Beca many things, but this might be her favourite music lesson of all

Anything else will have to wait until January, including the updates for AIHLIY and Surrendering Control because I just have SO much on and this isn’t including the work I have to do for uni yet 😅 BUT I’m hoping to bring you a buttload of soft festive content so I’m hoping that makes up for it jdfghjkfdd

Good news for all you VHI fans!!! I finished planning out Volume 2 after changing the plot line, and excluding a few minor plot points it's ready for me to start writing the next one 😌 so hopefully you'll be getting a new fic soon, and it'll be the last of the one shots for this volume because everything after that is big bulky multi chapter drama 😉

Annnnd now my assessment is done I'm back on the fic writing train again!! So hopefully there'll be something to come soon dsjfjdhs 🥰💖

Helllloooo just popping in from my AC/Paper Mario hole to give y’all a quick VHI update!!

There will be no fic this month, I got so caught up with uni stuff and finishing LHBH that I just ran out of time with it 😅 BUT I have combined the plots of the next two fics (so what would have been this months and the one for February) and that should be a 2/3 parter that’ll be out around Valentines Day (is this for a reason... you’ll have to wait and see 😉) and after that... well we’ll see, I have sort of changed the plot line for the end of this series flkdjglfdjds so I need to replan the end of it, but another one will definitely be out for about March time!!

TLDR: No VHI for January, a 2/3 parter for February, and god only knows for March onward 😅😂

Alright nerds here's the deal, I'm not doing the VHI Christmas special this year, I've simply got too much to do in the next week or so that has to take priority unfortunately. So instead we're going straight into January's fic, but don't worry a lot of the soft moments I had planned for this fic have been worked into January's plot, and those that haven't I'll try and include through the rest of this Volune where I can 🥰

I hope you're not mad about it, I just got two assessments for uni to do and I need to redraft my pilot for an open call too, so that stuff has come first right now, but I promise that you'll get as much of the softness as I can manage to cram into ther fics as I can!!

I'm probably posting some Steca smut in the next hour or so, and that'll be it for fics until the new year, so hopefully that will make up for it too 😉💖
