@caisjunlis and I are having a TIME about the other hunters in Xavier + MC's complex who 100% think they're dating and hear all sorts of things through those actual styrofoam walls. (My work building is the same I can literally hear when people open/close doors above me, footsteps, when they flush toilets, etc. Just not conversations unless people are being loud.)

been thinking lately about how before my butch & i were dating, the first time we saw each other in person, he was like “mac are you sure you aren’t hypermobile? because the way you’ve adapted to position your joints is like a lot of people i know who have hEDS.” & i of course was like whaaat no way, it’s because of my arthritis pain

four months later a doctor [does absolutely nothing else for me but] says every joint he tests is hypermobile

now 2+ years later i’m resetting multiple joints multiple times a day

Coffee walks with my coworkers to the fancy cafe that we're "regulars" at omg all the baristas know our namesssss. There's a secret off-menu thing regulars only know about, you walk in and ask for "The VIBES PLEASE" and they say "Vibes coming right up!" and it's $5 and completely drink roulette you never know what you'll get and its just, whatever the barista decides to make you. (So like it won't just be plain coffee or tea but it will always be something interesting!)

3. Favourite musical artist / group you started listening to this year?

uhh I super rarely listen to more than one or two songs from one artist hahsdjfhs BUT so far I do enjoy Sadraddin and Жугунусов Мирас, so I will potentially become a regular listener! They're both Kazakh artists

12. Talk about a new friend you made this year

oohh!! this year I met someone who works at our local theatre and it's been such a blast. an enrichment in my enclosure, if you will. it's interesting bc in my daily life i very much live inside my sociological/political bubble (and don't get to do much artsy stuff) whereas they very much live inside their artsy theatre bubble (and don't get to do much activism) so our new friendship is truly a win-win situation - they connect me to the arts and I connect them to local political/social communities!

22. Favorite place you visited this year?

can't choose so I'll say either that one expensive ass sushi place in berlin or that one quiet mountain we went up to see the sunset. like. yeah 🥺
