Exciting News!
We are so excited to bring you a form of virtual signings that will support authors as well as indie bookstores, and those suffering in the pandemic.
We have partnered with bookshop.org to offer virtual signings.
Bookshop.org is an online bookstore with a mission to financially support independent bookstores. If you purchase the book of an author participating in the virtual signing element, you can submit proof of purchase via email and receive a signed bookplate and possibly some other goodies as well! We have authors offering stickers, bookmarks, and even art prints in addition to signed bookplates!
Through this platform, the Social Distance Book Festival will make a 10% commission; we will be donating 100% of those funds to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy’s COVID-19 Fund.
More information about this fund can be found here.
Check out our list of participating authors HERE.
