The Warrior Cats project of the day is Expired by RedBear! This project is about Tigerstar's life and his downfall, from a sweet innocent kitten to a battle hungry murderer. He is confronted by his mother, Leopardfoot, as she seemingly asks him what he did with his life and why. The style is simple but really enjoyable to look at, and the Leopardfoot design in particular is beautiful. It's nice to see a PMV of Tigerstar forced to reflect.

This PMV explores the misogyny in the books and the fandom, shown through the struggles of several female characters and how they are often held to different standards than the male characters. The designs are unique but recognizable. The art is beautiful and emotional, leaving you wanting to help the cats escape the narrative they are trapped in.

Happy April Fools! I wasn't sure what to do for today, so I chose the most foolish MAP I could find! The Warrior Cats project of the day is the Vine MAP, hosted by MarshuKitty, with the thumbnail being a collage of pictures taken from the MAP. This silly MAP is a collection of vines animated with Warriors characters, some loosely related to actual parts of the books. It has surprisingly good animation for some parts, despite being a spoof. It's a nostalgic watch, both from that period of the Warriors fandom and vines themselves!

The Warrior Cats project of the day is Rivers in the Dust by bleachwaffle! This PMV is about Brackenfur and Dustpelt's grief after both losing their mates in the Great Battle. It explores their friendship, how they bond over their loss, and ends with Dustpelt's own death, leaving Brackenfur alone again. It's emotional and bittersweet. The art is expressive, and the poses, particularly with the ghost mates, are really great!

The Warrior Cats project of the day is Dastaan e Ashfur by PixylMawthz, with a thumbnail by Nettlefang! This Bollywood-themed MAP is super creative, with the plot being that Ashfur kidnaps Bramblestar and puts on a play about how he feels the events went down, only for Squirrelflight to jump in to save Bramblestar at the end. The designs for the actors are super well done, with Bramblestar having a shark motif and red colouring to make him seem evil, and Squirrelflight having more cutesy features to show how Ashfur infantilizes her. The MAP is super dramatic and it really feels like a play, which is such a cool vibe for a Warrior Cats project to have!

The Warrior Cats project of the day is Me and the Devil by Parrotek! This short PMV is about Needletail and her journey from supporting Darktail to standing up against him, only to be killed. The cartoony artstyle is really good at portraying emotion in the cats, and despite being the "sillier" style it still manages to send chills down your spine when Needletail sees the skeletons of the cats Darktail drowned, as she realizes she'll soon be joining them. The use of colour is also really nice, and the characters are all quite distinct.

The Warriors Cats project of the day is Wriggle by road_eater! This project was submitted by @penny-fitzgeraldz. This PMV is about some of the underrated character this creator likes, these being Shellheart, Flametail, Flintfang, Cloudberry, Flywhisker, Tornear, Mistlekit, Redscar, Nightwing, Hollytuft, Mudfur, Beenose, Flipclaw, Redwillow, Pearnose, Featherwhisker, and Doestar! This PMV makes use of multimedia, using different backgrounds, one real photos and one crumpled paper, as well as both normal and two-colour designs. It's honestly a really cool PMV and it's always nice to see background characters get recognition. The art style is also very cute and the poses are super fun to look at!

This colourful MAP is about the the young New Prophecy toms Brambleclaw, Hawkfrost, Stormfur, Ashfur, and Crowfeather and their feelings for Squirrelflight, Brook Where Small Fish Swim, Feathertail, and Leafpool! I love the little accessories some of the toms wear, and the vibrant colours of the mollies. The backgrounds and effects are really creative and cool, incorporation a scrapbook style!

The Warrior Cats project of the day is Separate Ways by ForestWhisker! This PMV takes place as Hollyleaf is dying and Squirrelflight is by her side during her last moments. Squirrelflight and Hollyleaf have forgiven each other, but they barely had time to spend before Hollyleaf was taken away again. It's a heartbreaking and bittersweet PMV that often brings me to tears.

The Warrior Cats project of the day is A Love Song to Finance by Mudshadow! This PMV explores Russetfur's feelings towards Sasha, in a scene depicted in the "Tigerstar and Sasha" graphic novels where Russetfur gives prey to Sasha and her kits. Russetfur catches feelings for Sasha, but is to afraid to act on those feelings, and walks home with regret. The backgrounds, tweening, and animation are all super pleasant to look at, and the lipsync is really smooth! The colours and effects used for the backdrop really bring this PMV together, slightly gloomy, and it makes me feel nostalgic. It's a wonderful PMV!

The Warrior Cats Project of the day is Family Jewels by Dollybeagle! This was requested by anonymous. This PMV is about Mothwing and her struggles particularly with her family and her faith. The split-screen really adds to the vibe of the PMV and makes it entertaining to watch. The Mothwing design is also extremely adorable, the fluff was drawn very cutely.
