Guess Who's Back...

Okay, so I know that I have been active on here, but this month I'm officially "coming back" to writing and tumblr/my website etc. Baby girl is very happy and thriving, and I am... surviving 😅 I do have a surgery shortly pending, but we'll get into that another time.

After the results of my feedback form I put out to everyone (thank you for your input by the way!), I'm bringing with me some changes, so let's get into them, shall we?

Firstly, I am not planning on returning to work after my official maternity leave in work, and I'm hoping to make a full time career out of writing, whether that's fan fiction, original fiction or some other forms of commerical writing (or a nice healthy mixture). Which is both extremely daunting and incredibly exciting all at once!

PRICE INCREASE NOTICE

Due to my writing time being so much more valuable now there's less of it, I've made the decision to increase my prices slightly. The increase will come into affect on the 15th September, so there's still time to sign up at the current lower price (and that will be the price you always pay for as long as you sign up).

Membership Prices:

First Base: £3 per month

Second Base: £5 per month (Very limited spaces available)

Third Base: £12 per month (currently unavailable)

All the Way: £20 per month (currently FULL)

This price increase is also to reflect my new commission prices, which are as followed:

Non-Members Price: £10 per 1K words

Members Price: £8 per 1K words

COMMISSIONS RE-OPENING SOON

I'm currently playing catch up with my waiting list, and once it's at a manageable level, I'll be re-opening my commissions. I'll make sure to announce it, so if you're interested in a commission, watch this space!

Our Process: What Does It Look Like To Work With Us?

Welcome back to the Perfectly Purged blog! As part of our new website and introduction series, we wanted to dive into what it's like to work with us.

When people look for a home organizer in Edmonton and come across Perfectly Purged, one of the first questions we always get asked is, "How does it work?"

Our process is pretty straightforward – but unique to the client and space. Let’s dive into the details of how to get started with a consultation, how we approach our in-home assessments, and how we go about decluttering your space!

Step One: Book A Consultation

The first step to working with us is to submit a consultation form. This form gives us a quick snapshot of the space you need help with, and gives us enough information to determine whether it’s a fit so we can proceed with a phone consultation – which we book shortly after receiving the form.

During the phone consultation, we discuss the project details, your available schedule, the area where you live (we don’t just service Edmonton!), and when you're free to book an in-home assessment.

Step Two: The In-Home Assessment

Our in-home assessment is complementary and allows us to get the full picture of your space before getting started. During the in-home assessment, we walk through all your problem spaces. These can be specific trouble spots like clothing dumping zones or an overstuffed pantry or your entire house or apartment!

We will take photos and measurements to help us prepare. Then we'll discuss the timeline and schedule. An in-home assessment allows us to come up with an estimate for the project, so everyone is on the same page from the beginning.

After the in-home assessment, we'll send a proposal. Once accepted, we'll schedule our work sessions and get started with the hands-on work!

Step Three: Decluttering Unwanted Items

Decluttering is one of the most intensive parts of hiring a home organizer in Edmonton, but it's also one of the most rewarding. When we first get to the house, it’s normal for our clients to feel anxious about the process or even embarrassed about their space. Trust us; we've seen it all and there is no judgment here! First, we'll go over what we previously talked about and your goals and move on from there.

For materials, we bring our kits with us that contain everything we need for the job. The only thing we require our clients to have on hand for us is garbage and recycling bags.

Some clients like to be hands-on and declutter alongside us, while others are away from the house when we're busy purging. Either is okay with us! We will accommodate your availability.

When decluttering, we pull all the items out and put them into categories. We only keep things that the client still wants and uses. Some people want to purge unused and unwanted items and live a more minimalistic life, while others retain much of their items and seek a detailed organization process.

Step Four: Organizing the Space

After the client has approved what to keep and what to give or throw away, it's time to set up the organization systems. Depending on the project and the space, we'll either determine the product we bring in beforehand or wait until we've purged and know what product we need to get.

Not every space needs organizing products, either. We'll suggest some products for most pantries, children's playrooms, and closet spaces. Other times, we use whatever the client already has at home. We only use a product when we think it's right for you and your space!

Once we've set up the organization system, we'll walk through the space to ensure the flow and functionality works for you. Everything will be labelled, categorized, and easy to follow.

Getting to show off the space is one of our favourite moments. We love watching the stress melt away from our clients' faces when they see the big reveal, and knowing we had a positive impact on your life.

The Follow-Up

Once we've wrapped up, we'll take away everything you no longer want from the decluttering process. We'll donate and recycle everything we can, from electronics to small furniture, and properly dispose of what we can't.

After you've settled into your refreshed space, we'll send a follow-up email to see how the systems work for you. If you feel something needs fixing, we'll come back and tweak it until it does.

We also offer maintenance packages for those who love the system – but don't want to maintain them by themselves!

Part I: The Older Brothers

A/N: GOD IDK WHY I HAD SUCH A HARD TIME WITH THIS... probably not gonna do as well as pt 1 but mehhh its fine... idk if ill be doing more Obey Me reactions in the future since i have trouble connecting with some of them but we'll see. Hope yall enjoy this though ✌🏻

DESCRIPTION: Female MC making the brothers hard for the first time. Assume MC x Demon are in a fairly new relationship. [[NSFW below]]

[Asmo ♡]: Where are you? Your food is getting cold

[Asmo ♡]: Hello?

[Asmo ♡]: Are you ignoring me?

[Asmo ♡]: You’d better be in your room, I’m checking on you once dinner is done

You awoke to the sound of your D.D.D buzzing next to your ear, messages blowing up on the bright screen and making you squint. When you saw it was your boyfriend Asmodeus, you decided to give him a quick call back to let him know you’re okay. It was finals week and just before dinner, you’d finished taking your last exam. After pulling multiple all nighters, you ended up crashing as soon as you’d gotten back to your room.

“Oh my gosh, you’re alive!” Asmo exclaimed, answering after only a few rings.

“Yeah sorry, babe, I was exhausted after my exams so I took a nap. Are you still coming to my room?”

“Mhm! Just give me a few minutes.”

“Okay, I’ll see you soon.”

Ending the call, you placed your phone back on your nightstand before making yourself presentable, and just as he’d said, within a few minutes there was a knock at your door and when you opened it, you were met with a smiling Asmodeus.

“I packed up your dinner for you,” he said as you let him in, “I warmed it up too!”

“Thanks, babe,” you smiled, pressing a kiss to his cheek as you took the food from him, “You’re the best!”

“Oh stop, you are,” he giggled, pressing a kiss to your lips.

The two of you became official a few weeks before finals, but with both of you so busy preparing for the semester's end, you hadn’t gotten the chance to spend much quality time together. This would be the first time you were hanging out together without having to worry about school.

“You should eat,” Asmo spoke as the two of you made yourselves comfortable on your bed, “Skipping meals isn’t good for your beautiful body.”

“But I just woke up… Let’s just cuddle for a bit first, I missed you.”

“Well, I can’t say no to cuddles. I missed you too.”

As he pulled you closer, you slung your legs over his thigh and wrapped your arms around his torso, your head resting against his shoulder.

“Wow, we’ve never cuddled like this before,” Asmo beamed as he ran his fingers through your hair, “It’s been almost a month now and our intimacy has hardly progressed!”

“We were busy, it couldn’t be helped.”

“It can be helped now,” he suggested, his lips forming into a smirk as he stared at you pleadingly.

“I… can’t disagree with that,” you replied, returning him a smirk as you wrapped your arms around his neck.

He didn’t even hesitate for a second before pressing his lips against yours, gently laying you down on the bed as he made himself comfortable between your legs, his hips flush against yours.

“Asmo…” you started, face flushed feeling his bulge pressing against you, “You’re um…”

“Excited? Can you blame me? I’ve been waiting to do this for so long! Just relax, I’ll take good care of you.”

It’d been a while since Beel and you had last planned a date, both of you being backed up with school work and other responsibilities. Finally though, you guys were able to find an opening in your schedules, so you decided to have a picnic together in the RAD garden.

The two of you had woken up early to prepare, knowing that cooking and packing the food would take a while, given Beel would always eat some of the food during the preparation. It took you a few hours, but finally, you were able to finish making the food and packing everything, so the two of you headed off to the RAD garden to relax and enjoy the fruits of your labor.

“Here, Beel,” you offered, holding a rice ball up to his mouth to feed him, cupping your hand beneath it to catch any droppings.

“Mm,” Beel hummed happily as he took out half of the rice in a single bite, and then quickly finished it with another. It always made you so happy to see Beel enjoying your cooking, so you continued to pick at the various dishes you’d created and feed them to him. It didn’t take long at all for the two of you to finish all the food, but you did have one more thing up your sleeve.

“Hey Beel,” you announced, a cheeky grin on your face as your hand dug through your purse to pull out a small tupperware, “It’s not much, but I made these last night and hid them as a surprise dessert for today.”

Carefully opening the lid, you revealed that what you’d prepared was some chocolate covered strawberries. You were about to grab one and feed it to him, but somehow, he managed to beat you at snatching the fruit and to your surprise, he held it up to you to eat first. Despite your shock, you couldn’t turn down his offer so you took your first bite into the strawberry, some of the chocolate breaking off and falling into Beel’s free hand.

“Mm, sorry,” you replied bashfully, before licking up the remaining chocolate bits from his hand. When you looked back up, you could see the bright pink tint brushed over Beel’s cheeks, a rather flustered expression on his face. While you were initially puzzled by his strange reaction, it didn’t take long for you to at least get an idea of what may have caused it. Focusing back on the strawberry, you took another bite to finish what was left of the fruit, but this time, you let your lips linger on his fingers for a bit longer than you normally would… and you were right.

You didn’t think it was possible, but his cheeks flushed an even deeper shade of red as you finally withdrew from him, a cheeky grin forming on your lips.

“Um…” Beel started, breaking eye contact as he rubbed the back of his neck, “You always feed me… so I wanted to try feeding you… I think I like it more than expected.”

“Hm, I see,” you teased, noticing the tent in his pants, “Wanna feed me more then?”

It was just a normal day for you at RAD; your classes had just finished and you were on your way back to your room… that is, until you were startled by the sound of your D.D.D ringing loudly in the hall. It was Belphegor.

“Hello?”

“Hi… are your classes done?”

“Yeah.”

“Come to my room then.”

“Why?”

“Just come...”

“Alright, I’m on my way.”

“Great. See you soon.”

Stopping in your tracks, you made a 180 and started making your way to Belphegor's room instead. It didn’t take long to get there, and upon your arrival you knocked firmly on the door. You were greeted almost immediately, followed by Belphegor pulling you into the room and pressing a soft kiss to your lips.

“I missed you,” he giggled as he led you to his bed, “Come take a nap with me.”

Lifting the covers, he gestured for you to climb into the bed first, and then he joined shortly after.

“I love napping with you,” he smiled as he took your hand in his own and scooted closer to you.

“I love it too, Belphie… but you should really give me more notice when you wanna nap together, you always tell me so last minute.”

“But that’s so much work… Besides, I don’t choose when I feel like napping with you, it just happens.”

“Alright, fine…” you caved, given that he did have a valid point.

Snuggling up against his side, your hand rested comfortably on his stomach as you let your legs entwine with his. He hummed in contentment at the intimacy, his body relaxing as he prepared for his nice, soothing nap.

Unfortunately, he was only able to sleep for a short while before being suddenly awakened by you stirring in his hold. As you shifted around on the bed, your legs began to rub against his thighs, occasionally riding up higher and approaching his crotch. He tried to close his eyes again and ignore it, but there was no way he could simply stop feeling what you were doing to him… even if it was unintentional.

“Are you okay?” you asked groggily, feeling that his body had become abnormally tense.

“Mhm,” he hummed quietly as he took a deep breath, attempting to calm himself down before you could discover what was really going on.

Unlucky for him, as you squirmed around even more, trying to make yourself comfortable, your leg slipped just a little too high and brushed over his bulge, eliciting a soft moan from him.

“Oops, sorry,” you giggled at the realization, “Didn’t realize you were all… excited.”

“Well if it weren’t for you feeling me up in your sleep…” he grumbled, a tinge of pink forming on his pale cheeks as he turned his head away from you.

“I didn’t do it on purpose!” you argued, cupping his face in your hand and forcing him to look back at you, “I’ll tell you what, since I caused this ‘problem,’ would you forgive me if I took care of it for you?”

“Hmm… sounds like a fair trade,” he grinned, knowing exactly what you meant.

Hey, how strict are the writer deadlines? I would love to participate butJune is finals time at my uni so I worry I won't be able to meet the exact dates/wordcounts per date. Also is there like a tolerance for the minimum wordcount? If it's like 150 words less than 6K is that ok?

Hey, anon! Aside from the final posting date (on posting day, you either have something ready to go or you don't), all of our check-ins are somewhat flexible. We did our best to plan around typical school schedules this year, but unfortunately when you need four months to run an event, there's just no way to avoid conflicts entirely, and we know that falling behind for a few weeks isn't the end of the world if you can get caught up shortly after. That said, if you have a choice between filling out your check-in form on the day it's due when you're 300 words behind, or filling it in three days late when you're back on schedule, please turn your form in on time. It's much easier for us to track everyone's progress and work with you on a plan to finish the event if we get all our updates on the same days.

As far as the final word count goes, though, the minimum is the minimum. We're not going to plan in any flexibility on that. But if you've chosen a story idea with room to explore and expand on details, then hitting 6,000 words shouldn't be too difficult. And if you finish drafting your fic (hopefully with a few weeks left before posting—even if you're a bit behind because of school, the goal is for everyone to have some time to focus on polishing their draft before posting) and it comes up a little bit short, you can always talk to your beta(s) and city mod about what to do. Chances are that if you're 150 words short, there will be room to add in 150 words of extra detail that will enhance your story. And if there's absolutely no way to make that work (which, again, seems very unlikely), we'll deal with it when the time comes.
