I made a big report a year ago that compares what components were allocated to orders the previous week vs what are allocated now (accounting for consumption n such). it looks at 100% of inventory in 100% of locations. for the first 9 months I was just logging changes while no one gave a shit cause everyone blew off our weekly inventory meeting so there was no one to review anything. but no one can do that anymore :)

I have all the part numbers, quantities, dollar values, and customer accounts laid out very nicely so no one in sales can accuse supply chain of buying stuff for no reason when really they changed their orders around without telling anyone so they wouldn't have to admit making any mistakes.

this report hasn't made them stop trying to lie/hide things in the first place tho. maybe one day.

#people in sales just enter orders wrong and then after the components re purchased they update the orders without telling supply chain #so then the unwanted stuff ships and no one can easily determine what drew demand cause history isnt seaechable in out system #i can do it thru the sql database tho. so i do and add notes to the report's weekly log

#also never shopping in my nearest town again maybe #i saw my cousin's ex who lives an hour away and her friend together which is so....... like wow i really thought i'd seen the last of him #very messy situation #started talking to a cashier/stocker i've spoken with on occasion for several years and she showed me some of her art & poetry (???) #got in line in front of one of my former classmate's dads who tried to proposition me right after my mom died #went to the new dollar store which has four self checkouts & one manned‚ tried to use a self checkout and the cashier said #'we don't have self checkouts' i said 'do you mean today or period' she said 'period' and we discussed how badly that's got them fucked up #they're literally running one of the self checkouts as a manned checkout when things get busy like... #and it was JUST built!! like just less than a year ago i think #i always come home from that town wanting to pull my hair out it's sooo strange!! like everything is craaazy #i also got fucking scammed! #i forgot to check until just now but the grocery store likes to run a weekly sale then not update the computers to reflect it #like they've done this for years and years #and i paid $1.99/lb for apples that were marked down to $1.12/lb so i overpaid a damn dollar #during the panini when it was my only source of groceries sometimes the difference would literally be like $50 because of big ticket items #i'd usually walk out‚ unload and read the receipt‚ then walk back in and get my refund. every friday. #and if i didn't i'd be out like $100/month for nothing on top of everything costing double what it did in the city #that place is fucking cursed. like there's just layers and layers of misery covering every surface. #adam yaps

I need to move out not just because my brain is going insane but also because I need complete control over my food again....I didnt start having all this stomach pain and constant acid reflux etc etc etc until I moved back in at the beginning of covid and my diet changed to whatever my mother decides. When I was on my own I ate way less meat/more veg and a more "traditional" Mediterranean food pyramid and I felt SO much better

Everyone wants to blame coffee or wine but my consumption of those hasn't changed so??? Like MAYBE it's partially age but also....I'm not that old and this is a p significant shift in a 2 yr period
