The knight’s world had gone black, and when he slowly came to, the only thing he had processed in his swimming mind was pain, there was so much pain. It was as if his entire back had been set ablaze. He gave a choked noise of pain as he snapped out of his daze attempting to stretch and flap his wings, unintentionally intensifying the pain shooting through his little body.

He gasped as his pain numbed mind caught on to what had happened immediately letting out a distressed chatter

He did his best to stifle a noise of both pain and sadness, reaching to wrap himself in his cape in an attempt to comfort himself… only his cape was gone…as was his sword…and his mask. He had nothing, no...he WAS nothing as the realization had dawned on him, he was their last chance…he had been the only thing standing between his king and that demon that had worked its way past their defenses, he looked at his wings, he should’ve been stronger, he should’ve called for backup, how could he have been so stupid, how could he have let his guard down like that?

“Ohhhhh we passed that cell 3 times already! I’m starting to think there isn’t an exit, Magolor…. We’ve just been going in circles while that monster runs around pretending to be me!” The distress in Taranza’s voice was evident as Magolor gently put his hand on his shoulder to comfort him.

“What are we going to do Mags…? We can’t keep wasting our energy like this, especially when Dedede, Meta, and all our other friends are in danger…”

Magolor’s ears drooped slightly, before they shot up and he turned to look around, letting go of Taranza and quietly and stealthily making his way down one of the corridors.

“Oh I know you can’t talk but that doesn’t mean you can run off without letting me know! We can’t get seper-“

Magolor held a finger up to shush the spider as he continued quietly, pointing down the hall and then at his ears as he cautiously turned each corner during his search.

*I hate charades…*

Taranza kept quiet and followed Magolor closely, picking up the biggest rock he could find…just in case…

They turned the corner and saw a round figure walking ahead of them. Magolor froze in his tracks and glanced at Taranza and then approached, ready to fight, and take out whoever or whatever was down there with them.

In other circumstances the three would be calm and seemingly rational. But when someone whos typically level headed is thrown into an unfamiliar scene and left to fend for themself in the darkness, one tends to act on instinct without even realizing it, this instinct varies between individuals in strength of course.

But for these three the panic instinct was immediate, Meta had heard them approach and was preparing to defend himself, and when Magolor and Taranza got too close for his comfort, he lashed out, leading for the twos' fight or flight to kick in.

The scene that followed consisted of screaming and panic from the three friends, and a few punches being thrown, some landing, some missing. When the familiarity of their voices finally registered, the attack ceased and the fight became something they collectively wouldn’t be speaking of ever again.

“Meta knight?!?” Taranza gasped as he rushed forward to help him off the ground “Oh what in heavens name happened? Did he do this to you…?” He frowned and looked at the knight’s larger injuries, particularly his wings.

Meta did his best to look as if he hadn’t been crying as he faced the two of them and nodded “I failed you, and the king…I had been so focused on my search for Magolor…I hadn’t realized something had already made it’s way in… and now…there’s no chance to save Dedede… and it’s all my fault…” his eyes were glossy as he spoke only for Magolor to float over and stare into his eyes.

“….Love you…” the mage attempted to speak, but with the state of his mouth, it was more of a gurgle

“More than…anything…and you…Came looking for me…” He reassured softly, his ears perking up.

“I did… as soon as you didn’t show up to meet me, I did nothing but look for you until that thing showed his true colors.” Meta replied softly.

If it didn’t hurt so much, the cat mage would have been grinning ear to ear. “…Did your…best…That’s all….anyone asks…of you…all I ask…of you…”

Meta gave a weak smile as he gripped Magolor’s hand.

“I’m glad to see you here Meta, I really am…but this means we HAVE to get out of here NOW.” Taranza stated “Dedede has no one to assist him now, and I don’t think Dark Matter will waste much time getting to him.” He frowned “So forgive my impatience, but we must hurry!”

“It's alright Taranza, I came to that conclusion as well, you’re right, we need to hurry.” Meta agreed “I haven’t gotten far, but I could’ve sworn I heard something before you two tracked me down. Here down the hall.” He pointed in the direction stopping once they were there and listening closely.

“……..I don’t hear anyth-“ Taranza was shushed once more by Magolor as he pressed his ear to the wall and nodded “Humming…like…an old neon sign…humming…”

Meta nodded and stared "There's something behind this wall that's making that noise."

Taranza blinked before he told Magolor and Meta to step to the side as he looked at the wall closely, his eyes were trained to see magic to the smallest degree and he reached before pressing one of the bricks in, triggering whatever spell was cast before the wall crumbled revealing a staircase upwards.

Taranza lead the way making his way up slowly and quietly, reaching the doorframe, pulling back the pieces of stained robe that had been stitched together to make what someone could crudely call ‘curtains’ he felt a wave a nausea wash over him.

Magolor and Meta got to either side of him, wondering what had caused him to stop in his tracks.

Ayo, as someone whose only hallucinogenic experiences have been in the following, what are your thoughts on/have you tried DMT and/or salvia (divinorum)? I tried both in the one night a couple of years ago and it was an incredibly enjoyable experience but I've not tried other hallucinogens, I wouldn't mind knowing how you compare it to other hallucinogens! (if you can)

I've not tried salvia but I have tried dmt a couple times and funnily enough I fucking HATED it. like I've tried maybe 2.5 times and I remember the whole time (for context for those who don't know, dmt lasts like 15 minutes max lmao) being like "holy shit I need this to be over NOW holy fuck I'm gonna DIE" bc for me it honestly felt like insanely intense sensory overload. like everything was loud and bright and assaulting my brain. a poster of some kittens saved my fucking life one of the times ajhdkabdjd I stared at them and they gently lifted me back to reality

so I think if you started with DMT and salvia ur fuckin GOOD bro like ur ready lol. acid is pretty similar feeling to DMT except imo a lot less intense, and it lasts all fucking day so you can do a lot of Fun Activities. shrooms are pretty similar, usually a lot easier to tailor ur dose ime and they last like 5-7ish hrs usually as opposed to the like 8-15 you get with acid. so w those two I think if you liked DMT and salvia you'll probably like them, bc they're very similar just less intense and longer acting! from what I've experienced the visuals and stuff are slightly different on all of these but it's the same kind of experience. so most people I know have 1 favorite that for whatever reason meshes best w their brain (I'm an acid guy, most people I know find shrooms to be gentler tho!)

MDMA is probably my personal favorite in the psychedelic class because that shit is straight happiness to your brain. music is great on most drugs but on molly oh my god. like. you need to dance bc all of your cells are dancing. and you LOVE. just so much LOVE. I recommend doing a candy flip (acid and molly) or a hippie flip (shrooms and molly) bc the effects play off each other and make for an extremely pleasant experience (provided you're being safe of course!!!!). I would NOT do this ur first time for clarification, because you always wanna see how you do on stuff alone first but if you end up liking them keep it in the back of ur mind for someday when ur favorite band releases a new album or smth :)

ms changed my worldview because it meant that my future was unpredictability and things that i take for granted today, like my mobility, my senses or my cognitive abilities, may fail me in the long term. i dont know if ill lose them or to what degree. i just cannot make any plans because every plan will backfire no matter what.

idk somehow i just figured that what i have now i would enjoy it to the max. im going to love going up the stairs, im going to love touching the dirt, or im going to do that thing ive always wanted to do but i never dared to because i thought maybe it was not for me. im going up mountains and seeing plants and animals no one ever bothers to pay attention to. im going to love balancing my weight on rocks that are not fixed to the ground just to see if i can.

and because of this my life is probably more enriched that has ever been? sensorially, mentally and physically. and maaan... i could not recommend this enough to someone in the same situation as me

session 0 for the fallout tabletop i'm gming (or... ehe.... overseeing... oho) with The Girls is this sunday. character creation, rules n such. now i'll be frank with you, this is going to present a challenge for me. i've only played a tabletop one time and i was killed brutally by a bear after the barbarian threw me at it to see if the bear would kill me. also i'm awful with numbers. have short-term memory problems. long-term memory problems. let's not even get into how my mid-term memory is. but what i do have is a google doc, multiple people strapped to a chair and a truly unearned level of storytelling confidence. i can't do this so badly somebody dies, so eh, it'll be fine. unless somebody does die, of course. i'll see where the night takes me

Hello, good evening! I have a question about the au. What do you plan to do in the future with the au? Do you have a separate story that you will do or have in mind?

Ooh I like this ask because I do have a little something in mind for the ending that leaves things sort of open for interpretation regarding a certain someones fate. But I'm not 100% sure if I want it to be it's own comic jumping off of the current, or just something I occasionally draw and talk about.

For now the au is just the au and it entails the comic, sidestories, and occasional video edits (DMS asks kinda became its own seperate thing) but I'm happy to give info on things that have developed thus far, questions regarding character interps, and things I've hinted towards

I also have some unused sketches I'll probably post once the comic is over so you can see what things could've looked like
