I have a place to live in my six month housing gap which is great truly it is also I don’t have to start moving for a bit yet.

ouhhhh the neighbour doesn't have any supplies of her own for crochet and I'm teaching her and my mother today starting in just over an hour

and i am ... not selfish with my supplies but i am unemployed and living off a very tight budget (cannot purchase any more yarn for projects unless i manage to do some pretty spectacular savings on my groceries for the month which is... not very doable) so I'm a tad worried she's going to be good at crocheting and want to Make Something with the yarn that i do have fjdskl and I would normally be totally fine with that but considering there's basically nowhere in town to buy yarn (i've had to buy online) and shipping is $20+ lately, that's not exactly a great thing for me right now 🧍‍♂️

we pretty much replace dozens of words with mish mash bullshit that definitely isn't in the typical English dictionary

every day I get more and more angry that my roommates got a puppy that they were completely fucking unprepared for like. it is your own goddamn fault that it acts the way it does because you don’t know how to train a puppy and apparently don’t care to learn and there’s no reason to be swearing at your kids because it chewed stuff up while they were home and you were at work. they are like 10 and 5 and should not be held responsible for what the Family Dog is doing

Thinking about it now, I'm so glad we don't really have to deal with archie stuff. It was a old long running comic I know, so some stuff were bound to be dated, but geez it was so in love with giving characters blood related family a LOT.

Locke, Sonic's parents and uncle, Sally's family, Tails' family, Knuckles' family, Shadow's family (well really just Eclipse) , so many of it. Not to mention the Future gen stuff (there wasn't even a sonadow kid what a ripoff/j)

But with the movies, shows, idw and even the games to an extent, it focuses a lot on the found family aspect and by god does it get to me. It's just all too good.

the thing about the relative characters is that i dont really hate them but a lot of them just feel. out of place? i remember when i was reading archie sonic it felt so weird to me that sonic knuckles and tails all had living biological parents ?? and i know its not the games so things are gonna be different but im so used to barely anybody having biological families and having found families instead and i love it that way. what happened to sonic being tails's mom and dad and picket fence huh archie

i think the only relatives for already existing characters from archie sonic that im not just kinda Whatever about are locke and max who i hate so so much. and eclipse and matilda who i actually love a lot. and uncle chuck can stay too hes fine i guess
