WWCITS is a 100% nonprofit zine dedicated to highlighting the talent and creativity of the WWDITS fandom. We’re looking for 5 fanfic authors and 22 fan artists for our upcoming third volume, scheduled to be released in Spring 2023. We can’t wait to see all the amazing work you have to show us!

Hello! Figured it was time for a new pinned posed. My name is Meli and I’m an Australian artist, writer, neurodivergent mum (with much cooler neurodivergent kids) and I recently completed my bachelor of psych science. I’ve been painting for around 20 years, am self-taught and love sharing my techniques with others!

I'm a massive WWDITS fan, and a mod and artist for What We Create in the Shadows (WWCITS) a charity fangzine whose first volume raised over $2000USD for Refugees International. I also love horror in general, surrealism, photography and gaming, but Tumblr will mostly see me yelling about gay vampires.

Dark Greetings! We’re thrilled to announce that contributor applications for What We Create in the Shadows Volume Two will open on September 30th! We’re looking for 28 artists and 8 writers to share their talents and creativity for a good cause! All proceeds from the zine will once again be donated to Refugees International. Applications will be open through October 15th and acceptance emails will be sent out on Halloween! We can’t wait to hear from you!

We received nearly 200 creator applications for Vol. 2 of What We Create in the Shadows! That's more than twice what we got for Vol. 1!! 😲

We're now in the process of reviewing applications, and we're already blown away by all the outstanding talent in this fandom! 🙌 Acceptance emails will be sent out on the 31st of October. 🎃 Stay tuned, keep it creepy, and thank you to everyone who applied! 🦇

WWCITS is a fan-run charity “fangzine” dedicated to the FX series What We Do in the Shadows. Our mission is to celebrate our favorite show, promote fandom creativity and donate all profits to Refugees International. Our first volume raised over $2,000 and was well-received by fans and cast/crew alike! This time around we’re setting the bar even higher! As a result we’ve increased the number of artists and writers we’re seeking to 8 writers and 28 artists! We might even have some more surprises up our sleeves...
