*ehem* Sorry. I'm ok. Anyway... Digimon Survive uwu and as an extra: I, myself, was supposed to be born on Feb 29 but I went ahead of time and ruined my mom's telenovela finale by being born on Friday 23rd (ง ื▿ ื)ว

Ok so, I just came back home from watching and I'm still shaking.

02beginning SPOILERS AHEAD!

Because I went to the very first screening at 12 pm, we were only 6 in the room and one guy went cosplaying as Dukemon (was too shy to ask for a proper pic because he was with his girlfriend).

*ehem* well, onto the movie... THANK GOD HERE IN MEXICO FOR THE LATAM SPANISH DUB WE NEVER GOT THE EVOLUTION SONGS DUBBED BECAUSE LISTENING TARGET AND BEAT HIT IN THE CINEMA WAS SUCH A DELIGHT AND A BLESSING I COULDN'T STOP SHAKING and yes, I cried a bit.

The experience of being welcomed with Bolero with an overwhelming audio is something I'll never forget but onto the plot.

Because I thought I would have to wait years to watch it, I actually looked for spoilers but nothing very explicit tbh, I also saw people saying there was body horror but honestly, Ghost Game had it "worse" xD so I wasn't that bothered by what Ukkomon did; he never did it with malice anyway, of course it was kind of... wrong? Awful? But he did it because he genuinely wanted for Rui to be happy; no one told them they had to talk in order to have a healthy relationship.

I don't think I ever felt so close with Daisuke before despite being a Dai oshi; I felt so angry with how Rui's mom treated him, being a 4 years old baby... this was the second time I cried in the movie (the first being listening target and don't believing that I was there watching xD) and I swear I wanted to cross the screen and scream at her a couple of things. Rui was genuinely a good boy (still is), going to talk to his sick dad about their day, I thought that was very sweet.

At the end, the "time travel" didn't really felt like that to me but rather a very immersive memories.

The evolutions sequence were beyond amazing so, nothing to say really xD just thankful that XV-mon and Stingmon were actually "drawn" rather than staying as CG and even so, the CGs were very neat.

I was quite worried about the dub but it seems the dialogues were done properly, at least taking in consideration what I remembered from the PVs. Thankfully we got Hikari, Iori and Ken having their same VA from Adventure along with the Digis; Daisuke and Takeru had their same VA from Lastevo and Miyako got a whole new voice but they did decent, they actually got quite well how the 02 gang is.

And Daisuke, oh my boi being the man I trust to ruin it with the police xD "why didn't you stopped me?!", I love you uwu and how he was the only one to tell Rui right to his face what he had to do.

The battle sequence was nice as well, I was worried for a moment to be honest and loved that scene where Miyako "ships" Daisuke and Ken-chan uwu

I knew we had to go in a big fight but I genuinely felt bad that the only solution was to defeat Ukkomon. I actually stayed until the post credits scene and I was happy to see Rui smile ;w;

So, in my humble opinion, it's a very good movie to add to the Digi Lore, it's very enjoyable and was what I needed for 02.

I saw people say that the movie doesn't solve the losing partners issue presented in Lastevo but I think that's not the case: Ukkomon gave the chosen children the Digivice via Homeostasis; considering that this "superior being" is indeed Homeostasis, this giving the partnership a tangible item to tie Digimons with Humans but, is that all?

I personally think that Takeru being anxious over losing their partners was justified after all, Yamato lose Gabumon so I understand why he would hesitate to kill Ukkomon; at the end, the Digivice was just that, a tangible bond but, they don't really need it, do they? Just like how in Adventure, Taichi and co. didn't needed the crests to evolve because their hearts were the actual crests.

The Digivice ties Digimon and Humans, yes but even without it, the bond is there so how does this solves the partners loss? As long as they have a bond, they will come back I mean, Ukkomon is coming back and Rui's Digivice is no more plus even after losing their D3s, Daisuke and co. still had their partners, right? This just shows that Digimon Survive was right in not giving their protagonist digivices: KIZUNA. We don't need the bond to be tangible, right?

Also, I almost screamed when Wallace was on screen with Terriermon and Lopmon ;w; it was nice to see Chichos too xD How did your dubs named her anyway? Here in Mexico it was changed to "Guadalupe"; Chichos sounds like "chichis" and that's a way to say "boobs".

Anyway, because I want more cards, I'll go to watch it again on Sunday because it's the only day I have free ;w; hope they don't run out of them, I want all my kids OTL

3.) Is your f/o a cuddlier, and do they get more cuddlier in private?

Atsushi definitely is one for physical affection, though it took some time to get use too. Especially due to the abuse he faced formally in the orphanage, he was rather hesitant at first. However, once he got to know Dany and build a solid relationship, he definitely sought it out more, though of course understood her own nervousness when it came to public affection.

Both AtsuDany are in tune with physical affection, Atsushi is a mix of public and private (private being the more affectionate and sweet, only for his Darling), while Dany is more a private person who wants to cuddle her Tigre without anyone else watching, she will sit on him and cuddle him like a koala, nuzzling and maybe teasing him~ When their more solid in their relationship, they do cuddle more cozy around others, they are sweet and tooth rotting fluff to any onlooker~ 🥰

Jason is also more of a cuddlier, public wise, he is totally okay with it, not minding to hug and nuzzle his combusting tiny little lass. He does respect Dany's hesitance on PDA, holding her to where she is most comfortable. He just loves his tiny love and is honestly an endearing sight to see tol and smol couple. Yamato loves to tease, which leads to Dany springing to wring his neck-- but of course Jason won't let her~

Much like the former, Dany is more of a private cuddlier, she will give her dearest storm the best hugs and nuzzles, showering him affection as he so dearly deserves. She definitely doesn't mind when he rests on her, running her hands though his long and soft curled locks of blond, maybe humming a little~ 😊💖

4.) What ways does your f/o show their love for you? By surprising you with your favorite snack once in a while, or giving you back massages when you’re in pain?

Atsushi is definitely one to take different leaps of affection, he would try his hardest to make everything perfect for Dany when he doesn't need too. Besides trying his best to shower her with some non-expensive gifts or a perfect dinner at the start of their relationship, Dany definitely assures him that just being his attentive presence is more than enough for her. When he listens to her, be it her nonsensical rambling or her moments of depression and anxiety. When he surprises her with soft textured animal plushies (every other special occasion~). When they spend time together, nice quality time! Just by showing her that she is the only one for him is enough for Dany to see how much he loves her. She is grateful and more than at peace to know his affection for her are real and true.

Jason is pretty similar in terms of listening and paying attention to Dany, he has always been since meeting her. Granted he has always had a strong liking to Dany, even when he figured they would just be friends. But as time wore on and they spent more time together, love and affection truly bloomed between them. In the circumstances of when they got together in the Digital World, honestly any moment alone together is more than enough. Be it talking about their time apart, or trying to just think about a future together. Sometimes it is a lot of reflection time. A lot of the time spent holding each other in reassurance that one day they will be at peace and have some bit of normality again. Be it with the other tamers and their Digimon. Jason can be spontaneous with his gifts, Dany loving each little trinket he makes, especially the eventual simple digizoid ring he made and purposed her with~ honestly every time they hung out alone together in the real world was also something special, while they were only just friends at the time, Dany began to truly see what she wanted when it came to loving someone without the need to change herself for them. UwU

9.) What texts or phone calls do you expect from them during the day? What do you text them during the day?

AtsuDany: If they are separated on a mission, Atsushi definitely tries to call her if she is available too to give her his affections and also for her to be safe. Likely telling her sweet nothings of when they are back together. If she can't answer, he will send her his affections and promises to enjoy a peaceful evening together with dinner and watching a movie. Danielle is fairly the same, a bit more wordy in texts and sending him any reminders her Tigre may forget about. She is one to ask him every so often near the end of the day what he would like to do if they are free, or if they would like to go out for a walk in the park or shop for dinner, etc. They also send each other funny memes through the day~ Atsushi does worry for her when Dany may forget to send a message as she does daily.

DanyJay: Honestly Jason always looks forward to Dany's texts in whatever way they come. He tends to send her messages of her to be safe incase any Digimon appear, or for her to remember to eat in general. Often the one to remind her that coffee and snacks is not eating. He worries for her a lot when she had to pull all nighters and would ask if she'd like company if she was stressed and alone. Dany honestly appreciates the human interaction more than anything, while she love's Darkwolfmon's presence, another fellow human is also needed. Dany does send messages through the group chat for all of them to be safe, but loves to send private ones to Jason, telling him to have a great day and she looks forward to spending time with him in her free days. In the digital world, they do send more affectionate messages and long distance calls, telling each other to be safe and their longings to hold each other once they see each other again.

12.) Describe their hugs/cuddles.

Atsushi: "The sudden embrace from Atsushi wasn't what she was expecting. The poor petite brunette stiffening in place from surprise at how warm the tiger gifted really was. How he practically swallowed her in his arms. Despite how lanky and skinny he appeared, his chest and arms were rather firm from muscle he has gained from the use of his ability and eating appropriate meals through the day. His scent was that of plain, sweet soap, while also having a faint smell of lilies and rain in the spring in her keen nose. It was comforting, soothing to her as she slowly relaxed and began to take notice of the warm, stinging tears in her eyes. Her throat feeling constrained, like any words that leave her will make her cry. She didn't know, or remember why she felt such a feeling to him hugging her. All she knew was that he felt so nice, so warm and silently pleaded that he hold her forever. Reaching around him with her arms, unable to help herself as she buried her face into his chest, feeling herself practically collapse in his embrace. Atsushi only pulling her in closer as a stammering cry leaves her, muffling against him." 🥺💖

Jason: "She felt her breathing leave her throat the moment as her feet leave the ground. Loud, joyous laughter sounding in her ears as she clutched tightly onto Jason's firm shoulders. The platinum blonde tamer practically spinning her around in a warm and firm embrace of relief and joy. She could feel herself stiffen in surprise, while squeaking his name from shock and relief. He was safe, he was okay, he was radiant as the sun after a long storm. In that brief moment, she relaxed, her own choked up laughter leaving her as her arms circle around his neck, her hands buried in his long and soft locks of hair. Feeling light and weightless, something she never felt before with someone other than Darkwolfmon. Warmth filled her chest, unable to help the heated blush that painted her face a few moments after he ceased his spin. Pulling away with a buzz of nervousness and anxiety, looking away as she stammered. But Jason knew her very well, chuckling warmly as he set her back down on stable ground. Lingering in his hold to steady her. She, for a moment, felt cold as he let her go, wishing for him to stay longer, but bit her tongue from saying it. Instead, smiling bashfully and relishing on the memory of his comforting embrace that lingered." 😳🥺

Your Least Favorite Boy? I don’t really have any; they’re all really nice.

A Character You Never Thought You Would Love as Much as You Do Now? Y-Yamato. . . There’s just something about him that makes me happy ÚwÙ

A Character You Can Relate to in Any Way? Otoya, I guess. I’m not exactly sure on how I should put it, though.

A Character That You Think Deserved More Love? Eiichi, definitely. I know he’s messed up a lot and I don’t agree with what he did, but it’s (not really but it’s there) simple to see he means well. I know what it’s like to do something I thought as good but ended up hurting someone else through it, which in turn hurt me. He had good intentions, but went with them the wrong way. I do understand why people feel so upset and angry towards him; in a way, he has been shown in a bad light. Then again, HEAVENS in general during their very first appearance in Season 2 were depicted to be like the main villains of the series. Then again, that’s probably just me overanalyzing again. Sorry for the rambling ;w:

A Character You Would Want as Your Partner/Lover? Haruka. Just Haruka. Let me smooch.

A Character You Would Want as Your Mentor/Senpai? Reiji! I mean, he’s Reiji. And maybe Cesshi. Or Masato. Maybe Camus if I’m allowed to make fun of him.

A Character You Want to Cosplay/Have Already Cosplayed? I’d like to try Cesshi, but I don’t know if my skin’s dark enough for that so I don’t wanna risk any chances. An alternative may be Natsuki, but then I’d be a short kinda chubby-looking Natsuki. Kira’d be nice too though! But I’m probably a little too expressive for him;;; Nagi’d be a nice fit as well, I dunno :3

Favorite Side Character? I’m not really sure if Satsuki counts as a side character since he really only shows up during Natsuki-centered episodes. If not him, then Tomochika! She. Just she.

Your Favorite Solo Song? I found myself enjoying Cesshi’s solo songs a lot. Destiny Song really brings me in. Brand New Melody has a lil something to it that makes me really happy though. I don’t know what it is, but it gives me a nice feeling inside. I also really like SUKIxSUKI Hanamaru and Hatsukoi o Mata Hajimeyou!! Those are both really nice songs that make me feel really fluffy happy inside >w<! And Melting of Snow. And Hurrayx2 Dreamers. And there’s a lot of solo songs I like. Oops.

Your Favorite Duet Song? North Wind and SunShine. I just really like that song. Like, that was the duet song my mind really stuck onto when I first started playing SL. I got attached.

Your Favorite Song Beatmap? Any of the ones with slide notes. Like, a lot of them. Also just any really difficult song I somehow manage to FC on the first couple tries. Like I remember there was one song for an event I was playing in only to get more LP where there was like a fuck ton of notes. I forgot if if was 800 or 900, but there were a lot. And I managed to FC it first try. Haha whoops ;w;

Your Least Favorite Song Beatmap? Nothing really comes to mind except for the lower difficulty ones. When you play a lot of Pro songs, the lower ones just kinda get boring.

Black Dejavu or White Gravity? White Gravity definitely. I can’t believe Masato said “lol bye” and joined the Kawaii and Royal Groups. Also, Natsuki’s high notes. They told him to do it twice and he said “okay :D”. I know it has a more uniform(?) singing distribution and order, but that just personally fits me and my ears better :3

UtaPri Merch That You Own/Watch? I have a Prince Cat of Citron!! And a Natsuki face towel that came along with him. I wanna get either Lime or Aqua next, but I can’t choose who. Lime because second best boi, Aqua because third best boi and shipping reasons. Also, you ever follow accounts that have Prince Cats of different sizes and have them act out as if they’re like a lil family? I want that life. Like, there’s one I follow on Twitter with Rosso and Cielo and Iris and Arancia and Verde and a lil Aqua as their child and I adore them. They use emojis to represent who’s talking and the lil Aqua’s emoji is a lollipop it’s just so cute ;-;. . .

How did You Get into UtaPri? Shining Live. I saw that Klab had another idol rhythm game on the app store and went “Why not? I haven’t had one with guydols yet?” and look where we are now;;;

A Set Theme in Shining Live That You Want to See in the Future? I’ve been having a bunch of gacha set and event ideas on a note on my phone. Like street dancer, fairytales, zodiac, zookeeper, cyber, and seven deadly sins/four horsemen as gacha ideas (some I already made art concepts for;;;). And for events, I got carhop, first date kinda thing, and ice/figure skating. In short, I want a lot :3

Why Do You Love Your Best Boy? At first, it was because he adores cute things and I adore cute things and he’s cute so I adore him. After learning more about him, I do see more similarities between the two of us. The feeling of being betrayed and growing defensive because of it, his defense being Satsuki and mine is trying to use words to help me. The need to grow stronger to not be seen as a burden, to try and not rely and depend on others to fight our battles for us. There’s probably more I can dwell upon, but that’s all I can think about for now.
