You are Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI's daughter who was sent away before getting captured or beheaded like your family.

Honestly, you wanted to forget about everything that happened, and move on.

However, that unfortunately was impossible especially when Napoleon Bonaparte became the emperor of France.

Napoleon invited you to come back to court, assuring that you will be safe under his protection.

You hesitantly agree, praying that it's not a trap.

And surprisingly, it wasn't, Napoleon received you in his court with a smile and open arms, not caring about the opinions of others about that matter.

The reason for Napoleon's passion towards you is because he saw a painting of you and immediately became obsessed.

When you found out that the French emperor plans on making you his mistress.

You planned to escape, not wanting to be put in a scandalous position.

However, during your escape in the middle of the night, trying to leave the palace with your servants.

You didn't expect to see Napoleon waiting for you at the exit with his soldiers.

Darling, you’re certainly on the right path to my heart. I will get on my knees and beg for more Comte (and Leonardo) content any day. And sorry Napoleon’s is relatively short, he’s the only suitor I can’t seem to get a good handle on yet.

Napoleon Bonaparte.

Napoleon demands fealty and loyalty, and for the most part, his sheer charisma is enough to garner that from anyone he meets. His feisty little nunuche is different, however – she is a challenge, and although he does adore a good challenge, he only has so much patience.

Napoleon strongly feels that all people are born equally and should be treated as such (according to the wiki), so he isn’t fond of treating his darling like an object in any shape or form – even as an object of obsession. Rather, he’s very reluctant to indulge in his feelings.

Even if he does end up keeping her captive somewhere (unlikely) or simply looms over her during her stay at the mansion, if his darling truly believes that being free of him is best for her… then he’ll let her go. He’ll let her do what she wants because he doesn’t believe in restricting one’s freedom. She deserves it just as much as he does.

Comte de Saint-Germain.

Comte is perhaps the most… pragmatic about the situation, at least compared to the other two. He expected his beloved cherie to respond ill to his manipulation and jealousy – he’s lived hundreds of years after all, he knew it wouldn’t be easy; though, that also means he knows how to break a human.

Naturally, however, he wouldn’t resort to breaking his beloved under any circumstances. He fell for his darling for a reason, not because he wanted to make her a puppet. That said, he’s fine if his cherie continually defies him and fights for her freedom – he fell in love with that spirit of hers after all. Her constant protests and insults wouldn’t break his heart in the slightest because he will always react with a level head, but he’d be lying if he claimed that hateful / fearful look in her eyes didn’t sting…

Despite being a lucid-manipulative yandere, he’s much softer in his approach to wearing darling down. Instead of gaslighting her or manipulating those around her (which he could easily do, mind you, considering the estate belongs to him), he fights her defiance with kindness. And if that still doesn’t work, then… he will just cut his losses. He knows better than to make someone love him or to cling to a woman… he’s lived for so long that letting his darling go is already inevitable, as much as he knows it will hurt…

Theodorus van Gogh.

Surprisingly, Theo isn’t as rough with a defiant darling as Napoleon is. He may snap and bark (pun intended) at his poor little knabbeltje, but he’d never hurt her, at least not intentionally. Emotions may run high and he may break something or even say hurtful words that cut deep, but he’ll always apologize – will always pull darling into an embrace (against her will) and practically beg for forgiveness with a soft, weak voice. His patience almost rivals Comte’s, not because its in his personality per se, but because Theo can’t bear to lose his darling or have someone else call her theirs.

Theo is unsurprisingly a possessive-protective. He’ll act as if he doesn’t particularly care what happens to his stupid little darling, but his actions never match his words. He’ll tell her to leave him alone then follow (stalk) her around town the same day, always keeping a watchful eye on his little pet. His excuses are lackluster, along the lines of darling being so inept and idiotic that he needs to keep an eye on her else he’ll find himself putting up Lost Dog adverts around town.

Still, if darling continues to rebel, he’ll have to seek help from his best friend Arthur and concoct a plan to break her. Unlike Comte, Theo doesn’t mind a broken darling as long as it means she’s his.

Hellish Reality - Yandere!Napoleon X Reader

There is no proper world building to this- Just felt like translating some of my yandere works.

Disclaimer: This is my personal characterisation of Napoleon from IkeVamp as a Yandere. Actual Napoleon would not do this; this is my take on how Napoleon acts as a Yandere.

The Emperor who claimed he was your beloved had you seated across his lap, as he questioned a poor townsman he forced to serve you both after Napoleon so graciously burned his house down.

"Oh... so you tried to poison my beloved huh?"

"To get to me?" He continued.

He threw the poisoned glass on the floor, the shattered shards covered in wine.

"Eat the glass."

The frightened townsman got on all fours, licking up shards and wine. Not a word was uttered against the maniacal ruler sitting on the throne. The mercenaries under his wing kept their heads down, almost as if a bow of acknowledgement to the cruelty of their leader.

"Now chew."

The man hurled over in pain, chortling from the mixture of poisoned wine and glass shards cutting his tongue. You squirmed in your seat, hiding your face away from the horror. Napoleon noticed your squeamish self, signaling the mercenaries to clean up the mess.

He carried you away, covering you in his cape and striding to your shared room. The way he sat you on the bed could fool anyone that you were a loving couple, but you knew better. The charming smile he gave was appropriately accompanied by his fingers caressing your wrists, locking them with the bejewelled shackles he gifted to you after threatening an entire mining town to prepare in exchange for their lives.

"What should you say, YN?"

You could only mutter a meek 'thank you' to Napoleon.

"Yes, what praise you give me... My Empress," He said, peppering kisses along your collarbone, tugging your shackles closer to him. "I'm the only one for you, right? Or do I have to conquer Europe again to prove it?"

You shook your head firmly, your hands pressing against his chest. Your thoughts raced back to the man eating the glass, your body shivering at the thought of the man's agonising screams and the thought of the poison almost reaching your lips…

Napoleon covered your pouting lips with his own, his kiss sending soft flutters through you despite the cruel and harsh man he was to others. "That kiss was a seal of approval, no? I'm so blessed to have such an understanding lover like you, YN… My Empress…"

His kisses trailed to your forehead, whispering his confessions of love to you, "Say you'll share with me…" He sang to you. "One love, one lifetime…"

"Lead me, save me from my solitude~"

~○~

"Past... the point of no return~" He serenaded, the barrels of oil flowing through the streets of Paris. "No turning back now!"

His beloved could only stand and watch the city burn down in horror as the Nightmare of Europe announced himself as a being back from the dead.

"Napoleon!"

It was no use. Locked up inside the tower where you and him first made love, where you confided in each other... Where did it all go wrong?

Ah I haven’t played Napoleon’s route yet, but I’ll try with what little I know!

“I never thought it would lead to this, and yet here we are.“

Napoleon’s voice was solemn and pained, rapier pointed at your throat despite himself. Your body shook with trepidation and it nearly broke his heart knowing he was the cause. Curled into yourself like a lost and frightened lamb, you looked utterly pitiful with your back slotted against the wall, nowhere the run.

“Did you think you’d get far, nunuche?”

Viridian eyes narrowed when you managed a choked sob, your eyes drawn to anything besides him; but the words died in your throat when the rapier brought your gaze upward, those piercing eyes the color of jade enough to sap your fortitude.

Hesitantly, you shook your head no, and although it wasn’t enough to sate his anger, his expression softened. He hated seeing your normally vibrant and strong-willed personality deteriorate the more these feelings intensified, but running away would only harm you both.

“Don’t do it again, understood?” You stilled when the rapier fell away from your neck, sheathed against his hip once again. It took a moment to realize your lungs were burning from the lack of air.

“Understood, my dear?”

“…U-understood.”
