i had a dream that toby fox released chapter 4 of deltarune before chapter 3

the main motive was chaos and casinos iirc

kris susie and ralsei travelled plains and all.. the plains were blue-gray with small lighter grass strands

there were many enemies! one fo them was the warsheep. like warship but a sheep and they had only 2 legs and had swords. they also looked like chapter 1 ralsei kinda

there were also chaos birds who kinda looked like swatch... they were birds but they had long striped legs, their festhers were black and white and they also had some specjal fearhers that turned various colors and patterns.. the chaos birds were used to carry stuff around.. they also had feathers around their head that looked like roulettes

there were also purple cocoons that were explosive and they exploded into purple spikes. they appeared in rows and their gimmick was that they blocked other enemies (they couldnt get accessed at all). the modt successful way kf them was to use rude buster!! when they got introduced you only could play as susie..

abd there was ONE character who caused chaos on ACCIDENT. i dont remember his name but he was a bird creature and he was obsessed with books. he tricked the lightners into climbing the CHAOS TOWER. his face was flat. also i love him

the chaos tower was actually 3 towers! there were rooms full of traps but mostly it was stairs. at the end of each tower there was a key to be inserted along with collected green gems. there also was a riddle to be solved..

the key was to a chest which contained a golden staff that upon closer inspection had an aura around it that looked like spilled gasoline

the towers with the keys unlocked access to ANOTHER tower. where the king lived. he was a bird (peacock) creature the size of spamton. he had a golden crown with color changing gems in it but they were mainly red

the lightners found him and decided to beat him up! they did..

his bossfight music was regal but chaotic and the bossfight itself was on the similar difficulty as spamton neo.. he called on the chaos birds and all the other enemies to attack the lightners for him lol. anyways he got his feathers kicked

so they then inserted the 3 staffs into the holes in the wall that were dedicated to them.

..but turns out the king wasnt evil at all. the chaos towers were there to guard things and the staffs were items that prevented a calamity from happening.

the book bird character that caused the misunderetanding appeared and laughed a bit before realizing how fatal the mistake was. he mistook the lightners for something else and tricked them into messing up this whole world. the bird king got mad at them and suddenly the tower they were in (along with the 3 others) were about to collapse. the lightners decided to jump down and were helped by the recruited chaos birds. there was also an option to summon a bag and to put the bird king in it like a marketable plushie. if you did that you gained some sort of secret bonus but i forgot what it was. but you could save him and thats cool as fuck

anyways the towers blew up and everyone (or almost everyone) was safe! but there was an optional bossfight. a void creature. the fight was similar to omega floweys but i dont remember anything aside from the fact that it was rather creepy. think of spamton neos introduction in the basement. yeah kinda like that. slowed music and shit... i cannot remember what it looked like for shot but it had 6 eyes

but yeah. the lightnerds came back to their world and everything was.. fine.

Okay first off I'd like to preface this by saying these two interacting would be THE funniest duo of all time and what's even better is that there's absolutely nothing in the Lupin III verse that would preclude Spamton from being there. Like a used car salesman who was cursed to be a horrible little puppet and now spends his days trying to convince people to help him steal a robotic body that will allow him to transcend and become God? Willow I LOVE you for asking this. Thank you for giving me permission to talk about this because holy shit.

S tier:

She-Ra. My god is that soundtrack just absolutely gorgeous. I could rant about how incredible it is just in terms of things like leitmotifs and thematic usage for hours but it's also just incredible to listen to in the first place.

How to Train your Dragon. Yeah it's probably not a surprise since everyone knows how good the soundtrack is, but the hype is well deserved.

Shrek, actually! There are some really beautiful pieces in the score (which was co-composed by the same person who did HTTYD) and people mostly just focus on the pop songs in the movie or the memes. Listen to Fairytale and feel emotions right now.

Doctor Who: Specifically the stuff done by Murray Gold. That man never failed to compose incredible music for the show and the fact that he left was a large part of why I struggled to keep watching starting at series 11.

A tier:

Sonic 06: That soundtrack is so pretty and is by far the best thing to come out of that game. Eggman's theme that was introduced in 06 was so recognizable and iconic that it was reused for every game following 06 (except Forces) and the fact that an instrumental version of All Hail Shadow was used as Shadow's theme was an incredible decision.

Minecraft: I'll be honest the only reason why this isn't getting an S is because I've just listened to it so many times. Aria Math is underrated btw.

Deltarune: Spamton's theme goes hard. I love basically every part of the soundtrack, and My Castle Town is such a fun tune that I just wanna stay in that part of the game to listen to it more.

Fullmetal Alchemist: (both versions) beautiful score to go with a beautiful anime. Not much else to say about it except Brothers (from the 03 version) being sung in Russian is so cool and unique.

Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2: Wow Marvel actually did something right for once! The fact that the themes and leitmotifs established in the first film were carried over and expanded upon for the second movie was such a treat.

B tier:

TMNT 2012: The score isn't officially released which upsets me. Some of the reused stuff can get repetitive, but there's also a lot of things that I wish I had an official version to listen to. Like the scene in season 3 when they're going back to NYC.

Stray: I recently played it and the music is so fucking cool. I think that the way it set the tone and atmosphere of the world was done incredibly well. Good music to write to.

Undertale: Not as good as Deltarune, which is to be expected since it came out first, but still iconic as always. I don't find myself listening to it frequently though.

The Adventure Zone: Started off a bit rough when the music was first introduced, but as Griffin became more confident and skilled in his composing abilities the music started going hard. Really started adding to the emotional beats of the story. Also the Amnesty theme is so good. I haven't listened to the podcast further than the end of Amnesty so I can't say anything about the more recent stuff though.

C tier:

Ironman 1 and 3: Both are decent and I listen to them sometimes, but not my favorites. I feel like if the themes established in the first movie had been used in subsequent films, for example, it would have made things a lot better.

Moon Knight: I think that the score is cool but can sometimes be repetitive. There are some moments that are really cool though.

D tier:

Sonic X English dub: enough said.

The feminist disperses the shadow clones with a big wall, but Nami uses her Ultra Lightning Beam to kill the feminist.

Kyngpin comes and asks her about Wendell Wendell Chopper.

Wendell Wendell Chopper pays Zoro and Sniper King a visit. Zoro starts to feel bad for him, and says "Puppy is clearly dying :(".

The napping animal rights activist decides he doesn't care that much about animal rights, and that he'll instead make the puppy die faster. Zoro decides to do a Cool Attack as a political protest.

Kyngpin and Nami show up to solve every problem simultaneously. It's really convenient for everyone involved.

Chapter 413 - Hunter

Spamton NEO stabs Nico Robin with an elephant.

Usopp With The Personality Sanded Off stabs a random rock with a giraffe face.

The napping animal wrongs activist stabs Sniper King with a clever ruse.

Nami starts yelling about Usopp for some reason.

Sanji gets tired of not getting to beat anyone up this arc and decides to beat up the napping animal wrongs activist.

Chapter 414 - Sanji vs. Jabra

THAT'S THE HOMESTUCK NUMBER!!! Wait, no it isn't.

Sanji explains that having the floor falling towards his head was a good thing, not a bad thing. Nami says that it's a bad thing that it was a good thing.

SANJI WANTS SNIPER KING TO BE NORMAL ABOUT WOMEN!!!

What happens next is a Sanji fight, which is to say that it's not very interesting.

Chapter 415 - Heat Up

It still isn't very interesting.

Sanji wins by using his Finding Dory leg to unleash a homing attack aimed directly at the napping animal wrongs activist's Dory.

Chapter 416 - Zoro vs. Kaku

Kyngpin asks if Lufpy wants help fighting Matt Engarde, but Lufpy says no, because then it wouldn't be a 1v1 anymore. Instead, he tells Kyngpin to just walk past Matt Engarde and ignore the fact that Matt Engarde is guarding the door. (Ohhh... is THAT why he's called Matt EnGARDE?! Because he's a GUARD?! I only just now realized that.)

Meanwhile, Usopp With The Personality Sanded Off is playing Minecraft with his friend Zoro. :)

Chapter 417 - Asura

Okay, Usopp With The Personality Sanded Off giving a whole speech about how he can use his adaptability to use his long limbs for an attack even if he has a short neck, and then immediately just using a long neck attack... is a pretty good joke.

Anyway, Zoro and Usopp With The Personality Sanded Off continue exchanging blows until they get all tuckered out and Zoro ends it all with a super move.

Chapter 418 - Luffy vs. Rob Lucci

Nico Robin hates the floor, so she decides to eat it.

Lufpy was wrong about Kyngpin being able to just walk past Matt Engarde.

However, Lufpy uses a super move to let Kyngpin just walk past him.

Chapter 419 - Legend of a Hero

Spamton NEO isn't tired of harassing Nico Robin yet. Kyngpin shows up but he does it wrong. Spamton NEO explodes. Everyone shows up and does it correctly, including Kyngpin who I guess is getting a do-over.

Sniper King helps Kyngpin complete his key collection.

hes was at the time the only one remaining of the group that hadnt gotten wormed yet and he had to painstakingly watch spamton make friends with sierra as a fucked up coping mechanism for the loss of monecs(ogblue). its ok spamton saw sierra for sierra instead of a replacement after like a year lol. neumann is also the one that help spamton wit dates n shit after that year.

Spamton brainrot reminiscing time because why tf not By all accounts of logic, Spamton should not have appealed to me in the slightest but idk, I think my highkey "monster/weird character appreciator" side of me became endeared to his bizarreness after a while and on top of him being tragic on top of everything else, I really attached to him!

He's just a sad lil dude and the backstory he's got is REAL good, despite being a "secret boss" with a bit more limited interaction than a main char. Like, he makes you want to befriend him and give him that good end he was cheated out of. Even if he is a shady, morally grey salesman, I think it was really cool for him to turn around and show some kind of regret for his actions and even turn into your ally. I hope we get to see him again in the future alongside the other "secret bosses"! Like I deadass went from "Holy shit you're terrifying/uncanny valley and idk how to feel about that" to absolutely head over heels endeared to him within like 4 days of beating the game. I did NOT anticipate liking him as much as I did, let alone becoming attached so strongly to him. Not 100% sure what it is! But I just let it happen LMAO I love seeing people's takes on him sm. he is just a glitchy dumpster manlet. And Neo? Cool af, definitely appeals to my "manic monster chars" and bonus points for being an unhinged robot, I've got a soft spot for these things in general and I think that's hella cool. He's fun as hell to draw, he's got the best music in the game, 10/10 Toby. Dunno how tf you did it but I have to wonder if he anticipated Spamton being as widely highly regarded as he is. OKAY SO DO YOU GUYS REMEMBER THOSE THEORIES ABT KRIS FROM 3 YEARS AGO. the ones about them truly being a vessel, and YOU are not the first person to have controlled them? cause we basically got canon confirmation on that right. in the first chapter, the things ppl were taking note of is, first and foremost, “you cannot choose who you are in this world”, cut to kris in their room. immediately you notice that their side has, like, literally nothing in it whereas asriels side has tons of trophies and stickers and stuff, (also makes me think the almost identical room ralsei gave them would be even more emotional!) which could. very well indicate that someones thrown all their shit out while being possessed. the only thing they have in their inventory is the ball of junk, which, when attempted to toss away, basically has kris pleading for you to let them keep it. (are you sure? you really didnt want to throw it away” “you felt bitter.”) at the end when they tear their soul out, the bird cage has scuff marks on the wall which also makes it look like. theyve done this before. and when they got the knife out we were all like wooahh what kinda creepy edgy stuff are they gonna do (like, open a fountain, i guess?) and then just NOW we were all like oh heehee silly pie :] but clearly that wasnt all they did LMAO. but uhhh im not here to talk about chapter one, specifically what made me be like “oh so this is totally exactly what we thought then” was after beating spamton. the way he says he really will always just be a puppet, but that THEYRE strong, THEY could break free of their strings (paraphrasing lol) and then how susie comments on how affected kris was by that. that. hhrtgrnngn got me good. if you answer no when susie (i think, i got bad memory) goes “you have goosebumps. are you okay?” like i did, ralsei goes “youre yelling” which very clearly was not something WE had control over. we didnt even get like a second person line like “you started yelling” or whatever, they just Did It. that really really REALLY got to me i was like “ahahahah okay suddenly i want to turn my computer off out of courtesy for some reason LOL”. when they went in the bathroom to wash their hands, shortly followed by ripping their soul out again, we did get more proof that WE are a part of this game cause when theyre without a soul we really cant control them. they hop out of the window and (we are led to assume?) slash toriels tires, susie asks whats taking them so long and toriel says they do this a lot. which, again, vry vry easily could indicate that theyve been possessed long before we came along. this whole ordeal is something theyre used to, which REALLY fucking upsets me LOL. then we get to the uhhhhhhhhh tv part? they leave the house with their soul jammed between the sofa cushions where all the precious things can be found or whatever susie said, go to do something else (maybe this is when they slash the tires? but then, god, what were they doing before???) and i guess open a fountain again, or something. its 5am and im stunned by finishing the game so i honestly dont know what to make of the ending LOL (i assume theyre the knight that opens fountains, but fuck if i know anything really) but with just these two chapters i feel like. toby really gave us all the pieces to the “kris’ soul is a vessel an theyre fucking sick of it” puzzle and i thought that was really cool (and weird!)
