one of the worst takes ive seen on tumblr over the years always comes down to ‘no one lets us enjoy things anymore let people have fun with media’ well no you know what let’s take a step back and see the media we consume and how it shapes our own thoughts and opinions because chances are that if you love your ship with abusive undertones and the show where women and people of colour are sidelined, then chances are it reflects what sort of person you are in real life, so yes enjoy things but be critical of them and don’t lose your humanity to them
