Cuddling with the Organization XIII HCs

I’ve been looking thru the askbox and a lot of people keep asking to cuddle with axel or luxord or xemnas, so I was like, fuck it ! we’re cuddling with ALL OF THEM

Xemnas’ preferred position is any that lets him bury his face in the crook of your neck and forget about the outside world for awhile - he especially loves it when his hair cascades down and tickles you, because in that moment he gets to feel your laughter in the vibrations of your throat, his favorite sound, the one thing that feels closest to home. Most of the time, you’ll find yourself surrounded by him, strong arms by your sides with your back against his chest, listening to his occasional humming and slow, relaxed breathing.

Big spoon out of habit, some unconscious need to take the lead. And he’s also extremely still and quiet during the whole thing - he’ll pay attention if you want to tell him about your day or ramble about anything and keep an eye out for any sign of discomfort if you get tired or wish to leave. But really, Xemnas is content with holding you close in absolute silence. Being the small spoon is reserved for moments of absolute vulnerability and he's reluctant to reach out, so those moments are scarce. That’s when he’ll cling to you, desperate, as if his entire existence depended on it. As if he’ll fade away the second you stop holding him.

Also also, Xemnas is the type of guy who doesn’t know what to do with his hands AT ALL, so he rests them on your waist or stomach. Simple and easy! You can sense his intense and curious gaze when your fingers slip under his gloves, his skin neither hot nor cold to the touch, holding his breath when you take them off to hold his hand properly. Being on the receiving end of such cute and gentle gestures from you always leaves him speechless, Xemnas will never get used to it. It’s oddly endearing.

This motherfucker unlimited is a wildcard. Xigbar has no preference, small spoon or big spoon, this or that position... Who cares? Or rather, who knows what it’ll be today? For a lot of members in the Organization, cuddling is a whole ass ritual, something reserved for special moments, but Xigbar doesn’t see the point in sticking to routine. Cuddling is just another fun thing he can do with you, so these little sessions start with some playful teasing here and there, ending up with him sprawled out on top with that shit eating grin, as if testing you - you wouldn’t dare move him from his very comfortable and favorite spot, would you?

You’re used to Xigbar pulling you onto his lap or making himself comfortable on yours. Sometimes, he’ll just hug you from behind, chin resting atop your head. Sometimes, he pokes your sides until you can’t stop laughing, feigning innocence when his hands start to wander, just to see what you’ll do. What he seeks is a reaction, something that isn’t him talking your ear off to fill in the silence - he’s had enough of the apathy, gloom and doom in his many, many lives, so your laughter is much needed distraction. Even when you tell him he’s being irritating and annoying, he loves it all the same. After all, you’re letting him get away with his silly antics.

Something he adores when cuddling is when you surprise him, like suddenly slipping your cold hands under his shirt as payback, lure him with a kiss only to flick his forehead and so on. Or cross lines that people would never even dream of, like tracing his many scars or tease him by pretending to pull on his eyepatch. Xigbar would never admit it outloud, or even to himself, but these light-hearted moments make him melt, when you treat him like your regular and super normal boyfriend who isn’t plotting a thousand things behind everyone’s backs.

When it comes to the most awkward person when cuddling, it’s definitely a tie between Xaldin and Larxene. But Xaldin definitely takes longer to properly relax, he shows his appreciation for you through acts of service, not physical contact. He’s no stranger to it, it’s just hard to indulge when his beliefs about Nobodies and feelings are so strong. But then again, it’s even harder to say no to you - if there’s someone out there who can get Xaldin to do anything with an open mind, it’s you. The easiest way to get through him is by using logic, insisting that he needs to rest eventually. And if you catch him right after one of those infamous meetings with the rest of the Organization ? Babe, he’s all yours.

Similar to Xemnas, Xaldin tends to be the big spoon because he cannot imagine himself as the little spoon. He was a protector in the old life and old habits die hard, so he’d insist on being the one to hold you, make you feel secure. And you quickly realize it simply won’t work because of how tense he is. Overtime, he finds out that being the little spoon isn’t so bad - his favorite position is when you two face each other, your arms wrapped around him and his face buried in your chest as he listens to your heartbeat. It never fails to calm him down,

Xaldin is not the type to shower you with kisses or talk much during cuddling, other than a few grunts of acknowledgement here and there. Instead, he likes to nuzzle you affectionately, his nose and sideburns tickling you. Sometimes, you get the feeling he does it on purpose, judging by the faintest of grins you might catch from time to time.

Cuddling with Vexen is a funny experience. Or rather, the process leading up to it is funny as shit. You’ll be the one to initiate or ask for cuddles and there he goes, rambling about how busy he is, how little time he has for such frivolities. He can’t take breaks, there’s so much work to be done, etc etc ... All while putting his lab equipment away so he can follow you somewhere nice to unwind. He seems more eager than you at the idea of cuddling, but you don’t have the heart to joke about it. And you definitely shouldn’t, because Vexen WILL take it personally and return to his work if you do.

Unlike others, he doesn’t care about terms like big spoon or small spoon, it’s childish to get flustered about something as normal as wanting to be held or holding another - he adapts to whatever you want to do, really. Vexen is not the type to stay silent, so you’ll have to endure his constant wild gesturing and complaints until he calms down. When his hands settle for playing with your hair, petting your head and so on, you’ll know he’s ran out of things to say. Instead, he’ll ask about your day. Cuddling sessions are great to catch up with each other, if you need to get things off your chest, then this is the perfect moment for it.

The thing about Vexen is that he’s very observant and astute, but also oblivious and dense to certain aspects. His hair is tied back as to not bother you two, his gloves are always on to avoid touching you with his naturally cold hands and he always knows where to go to avoid being interrupted by the other members. But if your arms or legs start to go numb because he’s leaning his full weight on you or if your attempts to get him to be more cuddly and give you more attention go unnoticed, you have to tell him, otherwise he won’t notice at all. It’s nothing personal, though!

Aren’t you a lucky one. Lexaeus is one of the very few members who openly loves cuddling and has zero extra emotional baggage to deal with - he’s very receptive and doting by nature, so he’ll know whenever youre in a cuddly mood or in need of some downtime. Similar to his fellow guard, Lexaeus often chooses to be the big spoon - but unlike Xaldin, he actually enjoys it, he enjoys knowing that others trust him and rely on him. A true caretaker through and through, whether you’re happy or sad, he’ll be there to welcome you with open arms, give you a safe haven and act as your anchor for support. Your comfort and wellbeing will always come first.

His hugs are top tier, squeezing you just right (never enough to hurt, of course, he has full control of his strength) and he adores holding you, but his favorite position is when you lay on top of him - your hands and head resting on his chest while he rubs soothing circles on the small of your back, he only needs to lean forward just a bit to reach and caress you, kiss your forehead. Lexaeus has very steady and strong hands, so he’d insist on giving you a massage from time to time if he feels you’re too tense.

It might be hard to tell, given how stoic Lexaeus can be, but everytime you two cuddle, he's overwhelmed with how enamoured he is. You can see it in his eyes, the way his gaze softens. It's not rare for him to randomly break the silence or accidentally interrupt you with heartfelt "I love you"s or praises. They just slip out of him, he can't help it, it might not be a long-winded declaration of love, but you know he means every word he says. Everything feels right by your side.

Oh, he’s torn. You’ll see the gears in his brain start to turn when you ask him to cuddle, Zexion is conflicted, desperately trying to rationalize his thoughts and figure out your intentions - he wants to say yes, of course he wants to say yes, but Zexion isn’t used to grand gestures. It might be just cuddling to you, but his displays of affection are subtle. Waiting for you after meetings, holding doors open, recommending books you might enjoy. Zexion feels faint when you hold his hand to tug him around and show him something, can you even imagine what cuddling will do to him?

Nonetheless, he has to be the most touch-starved member, eager to test the limits of his state as someone who can’t technically feel any emotion whatsoever - so he eventually accepts, expecting you to guide him through the process. His poker face is good, but not good enough to fool you, it’s easy to sense his nervousness underneath that calm façade. When you lead his hands to rest on your waist, he hesitates. When you brush his hair out of his eyes, he stares in awe. Overtime, it’ll get easier for him, but Zexion will continue to ask for permission before touching you, even if it’s to give you a simple hug.

Little spoon through and through, Zexion revels in being vulnerable around you, a luxury in his line of work. But his favorite position is laying down next to you as you two face each other, holding hands and foreheads touching. If he’s particularly emotional, Zexion might recite some quotes or poems that remind him of you, but most of the time he’s content with looking into your eyes, peaceful and serene. None of his illusions can compare to the real deal.

Saix will brush you off, scoffing at the idea - Nobodies don’t cuddle, they have no need for it, it’s as simple as that. He’d rather be upfront and turn you down now than play along and pretend he has a heart that can love you to the fullest. After all, you’re his partner, you should know his limits more than anyone else. Still, as soon as he sees your fallen expression, he’ll ask you to keep him company while he goes over reports, his shoulder bumping into yours affectionately, even if he refuses to meet your eyes. It’s the best he can do for now.

The only chance you have to properly cuddle with Saix is at night, when he can’t be bothered to turn you away. “Just this once”, he’ll say as you make yourself comfortable next to him. But he’s lying. From that point forward, Saix will silently seek you out, dropping hints here and there about you being welcome to initiate cuddles any night. It gets increasingly harder for Saix to get a good night's rest without you by his side. His mood unconsciously sours the next day when that happens, but he seems entirely oblivious as to why.

Either way, Saix is definitely the big spoon. He has no preferred position to cuddle in, so it's up to you and he'll simply adapt. However, you better choose well, because Saix is a heavy sleeper with a deadly iron grip - once he falls asleep, he's not letting go of you until he wakes up. But you may also take advantage of that. Every kiss and gentle caress will have him lean into your touch, muttering happy nonsense in his sleep, sighing content. He relaxes almost immediately when you play with his hair, too, but he won't believe a thing you say, should you decide to tease him in the morning.

When it comes to cuddling with Axel, there’s two things you have to know: his body runs warm, too warm sometimes, and he’s known to be clingy. He could never turn you down, not when you’re asking to spend some quality time with him, but he’ll expect to cuddle even during the hotter months of the year, whining when you try to push him away because of the insufferable heat. Come on, you two are a team! You’re supposed to suffer together! And as expected, he’ll be glad to keep you nice and toasty whenever it’s cold, that smug grin always present on his face when you sneak into his bed.

You also have to know that every attempt at making you laugh is, in truth, Axel trying to hide the fact that being this close to you actually makes him nervous. His confidence wavers whenever you’re involved, his very obvious soft spot - Axel has no trouble disposing of people to protect his loved ones, but when you look at him from under those long lashes, he finds himself panicking. And the easiest way to keep up his suave façade is to distract you with cheesy jokes and entertaining stories or gossip.

Anything to keep you from seeing the way his neck and ears flush and flare up when he sees you playing with the zipper of his coat. You do things to him, things that make him believe he actually has a heart about to burst out of his chest. Because of this, he prefers to hug you from behind. Just make sure not to fall asleep while cuddling - Axel moves a lot in his sleep and he might accidentally kick you or wake you up with a mouthful of red hair.

Cuddling is too weak of a word, it's more like you're Demyx's personal pillow and you’re on the job 24/7. Like Xigbar, he's very casual about physical contact, always leaning, holding or touching you in some way - your arms are linked while walking around, perfect to run away if Saix appears to give him more work. He leans his head on your shoulder or heatbutts it gently often. When it’s time to sleep or take a nap? He’s already dragging you away. And if you're sitting down, chances are his head is resting on your lap while he strums his sitar, without a care in the world.

Whenever you need to leave, Demyx will shamelessly beg and pull every trick up his sleeve to make you stay five more minutes, going as far as to use his full weight and keep you in place - though this often leads to playful fights and tickle wars, succesfully wasting even more of your time. His laziness can be quite contagious if you’re not careful, but oddly enough, Demyx is also quite restless. He gets up often, and I mean often. Suddenly, he needs to walk around because his leg has gone numb, then he’s on his feet again because he’s thirsty. And just when you think you can finally cuddle in peace, Demyx stumbles around because he’s finally figured out how to continue that melody that’s been stuck in his head.

There are rare moments of calm and comfortable silence, often in the dead of the night when neither of you can sleep. That’s when you’ll catch a glimpse of Demyx’s more mature and serious side. He simply just looks at you with something similar to reverence, many complex emotions flashing in his eyes - his love for you is something he tries to put into words and verses all the time, but it never feels enough. He just hopes you know, deep down, just how much you mean to him.

Luxord can see you coming from a mile away, so he beats you to it, asking you to keep him company and cuddle first. Everyone loves surprises, after all. He prefers to be the big spoon and any positions that leaves his hands free while you get cozy, but it’s always more interesting to leave the details to chance instead, either by flipping a coin or with a short, fun card game. Perhaps bet something like a shoulder massage or a kiss if you’re up for it, nothing serious. It’s always a win-win situation when you two are together.

Regardless of the outcome, Luxord likes when you run your hands through his scalp, his pleased sighs only fuel you to continue - but careful with his facial hair, he’s ticklish around those areas! Unsurprisingly, his mischievous streak gets even worse when cuddling, tricking you in many ways just to steal a kiss or get even more tangled up with him. Luxord especially likes interrupting you over and over with kisses, seeing the way you become both frustrated and flustered because of him. Of course, you’re more than welcome to get back at him and give him a taste of his own medicine.

When you two settle into a more calm atmosphere, Luxord will let you play around with his card deck while he closes his eyes, basking in your warmth, loving the way your bodies merge together. He insists that he’s not falling asleep, but you might start to hear his light snoring if you leave him unattended for too long.

If 90% of the Organization is secretly touched-starved, Marluxia is the lucky 10% who is fine with just your company and conversation. He’s not the biggest fan of cuddling or physical contact, but he’ll gladly indulge you - if you ask nicely and if you give him time to prepare something special. Cuddling doesn’t happen often, so he wants to make it memorable for both of you. A lot of pillows, scented candles, snacks and zero distractions, he treats it like a date. It’s the least he can do for you. Unlike other members, he’s fine with pretending he can feel and fully enjoy the moment. That’s how feelings work, most of the time you have to fake it til you make it.

During this little date, you’re free to take the lead and cuddle to your heart’s content - Marluxia especially loves kissing the corner of your mouth, wrists, shoulders or behind your ear, lingering just enough to tease and make you shudder when you feel his breath on your skin. But when it comes to preferred positions, if he had to choose, then it would be something simple with little to no contact, like just laying together while holding hands or laying down facing away from each other with your backs touching.

Marluxia values his space a lot, but he definitely doesn’t want you to feel neglected. Like Zexion, he shows his affection in different ways. His whole focus is on you while cuddling - overtime he’ll take a more doting approach rather than the initial flashy and grand display, fussing over you and making sure you stretch from time to time or avoid falling asleep in awkward positions. Marluxia’s usual sly and knowing smile will turn soft,

As mentioned before, Larxene can be quite awkward and stiff at first, almost as if she’s forgotten that she’s more than sharp, rough edges and biting remarks. You can tell she’s trying to ease into it, despite all her little quips and jabs, and oh boy does she relax when you curl up on her lap, her favorite position. How can she resist when you’re this cute and she has you all to herself? Long fingers will trace patterns along the nape of your neck and your back, all while your head rests on her chest or shoulder.

No mattter how angry or irritated Larxene may be, once you’re on her lap, she’ll calm down soon after, like some pavlovian response. She adores the closeness so much, she might insist you keep her company during meetings. Everytime you walk into the room and meet her eyes, she’ll giggle, patting her legs knowingly. In her free time, she’d like to paint your nails, or let you paint hers while you two talk. During particularly bad days, Larxene will simply drag you to sit on her lap instead, trying to calm down in silence by taking in your scent - anyone who dares disturb you two will have to go through her, even Marluxia knows better than to try. Get the hint or get hit.

You’ll find yourself drifting off to sleep thanks to her soft touches, but Larxene won’t let you fall asleep just yet - after all, you have to pay attention to her, too! She’ll wake you up with a flurry of quick kisses, all over your face. Maybe some embarrassing or cutesy petnames whispered right into your ear, if she’s feeling mischevious. Don’t forget that she wants your undivided attention when you two are cuddling.

Roxas is the type to only actively seek cuddles when he’s sad or feeling under the weather. Even when he doesn’t realize it himself, he always ends up gravitating towards you like a really sad puppy. His preferred position for these gloomy days is the classic spooning. Roxas initially curls up a lot, as if trying to hide his face - but you know he needs you because of the way his hands grip yours, wherever they may rest on his body as you hold him close to your chest. Similar to Xemnas, he almost seems afraid to let go. You’ll know when he’s starting to relax once he starts to spread more on the bed, finally ready to face and thank you.

And just like a puppy, his expression brightens when you cup his face in your hands, kissing him all over and ruffling his hair - he might deny it, try to roll off the bed or pretend to be bothered, but you know better than that. If you stop, he’s already leaning closer, waiting for you to continue with a lovestruck smile. On regular days, if you ask him to cuddle, he’ll insist on being the big spoon and let you find a comfortable position, but he always somehow revets to being the small spoon. It’s his very special skill!

Roxas is not much of a talker, mostly due the fact that he’s afraid of blurting out something embarrassing, but you can always trick him into having a very heated discussion about the most mundane things ever - like what’s the best ice cream flavour and why his opinion doesn’t matter because he only knows about sea salt ice cream. Or which world he would want to live in, if he wasn’t bound to the Castle That Never Was.

Xion seems to be Roxas’ exact opposite, she feels cuddly when happy or excited, unable to restrain herself from tackling you after a succesful mission. Before you can even react, Xion is already dragging you away so she can tell you all about her adventures and show you all the little trinkets she’s hoarded - because of this, cuddling sessions also double as slumber parties, with you two sprawled out on her bed, tangled up together in a mess of limbs and bedsheets.

This is one of the few times you get to see Xion practically bursting with life, as opposed to her muted behaviour when interacting with the other members of the Organization - color blooms on her cheeks as she laughs and snorts at all your jokes, pushing and slapping your arm when you interrupt her. One of her favorite positions is when you sit down against the wall so she can lay down while hugging your waist, nuzzling your stomach. There are times in which Xion will kick up her feet with childish glee and sneak a few kisses to your palms when your hands get close to her face, it doesn’t happen often but it’s always a treat to see.

Often acts as the little spoon, but she enjoys being the big spoon, too! You’re always so strong and supportive for her sake, Xion loves to repay all the love and kindness you’ve shown her. Similar to Lexaeus, she would spoil you rotten if she had the chance. Nonetheless, exhaustion always seems to catch up in the end - there’s so much on her mind, so many things to worry about and so many things she wants to share with you, but you’ll have to be content with watching her slowly dooze off, her voice slowly coming to a halt as she pulls you closer, dreaming about what the future has in store for you two.

Multiple KH Characters and Their Favorite Video Games!

Destiny Island Trio:

Sora: Fighting games- preferably Smash. He mains himself main characters (Mario, Link, Kirby, FE protags). He sucks. He is the guy who button mashes and corners players to beat the hell out of them.

Riku: Fighting games- preferably Tekken or Street Fighter. Mains Jin or Lee. Attempts to be strategic but gets way too competitive fast and is busy mashing all the buttons off the controller.

Kairi: Way too good at fighting games. But she’d probably play lots of Pokemon or monster collecting games. She has many setups that are both competitive or just fun ones for a fun challenge.

Sea Salt Family:

Roxas: Persona fanboy. He hasn’t played 1-2 but he can’t pick a favorite between 3-5. Plays all the spinoffs or has someone else play them for him. His favorite characters are the protagonists. Hears jazz music and assumes this is a Persona 5 reference.

Xion: Resident DMC and Souls-like player. Girl is a monster on the controllers despite being just being born. The way she can effortlessly combo and dodge all attacks makes her a fearsome opponent.

Axel: Mario Kart. Axel is pretty average at video games (unless they’re like, retro or arcade) but Mario Kart? He’s on it like Donkey Kong. He mains Funky Kong.

Saix: He has two wolves inside him- the logical gamer and the second, more absurd gamer. Sometimes he wants to unwind, so he might pick up a basic platformer like Mario or Sonic, but on the other side- he’s a menace in a Warriors game. He’s hacking and slashing. He’s killing everyone in his path. Also, he’s a completionist. He has to get the best markings and everything. Won’t settle for less.

Wayfinder Trio:

Terra: Minecraft and fighting games. He tries his best lmao. He’s just got pretty big hands so often he messes up with combos but he’s also pretty impatient and tends to spam certain moves.

Aqua: Rhythm games definitely. Watch her effortlessly get all perfect scores in one try. Even the hardest OSU! map has nothing on Aqua. She also kicks ass at fighting games.

Ventus: He likes Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games and Mario Party. He always loses at almost any game against his friends though.

Bonus Characters:

Namine: I feel like she enjoys visual novels and Okami. She really loves aesthetic games and is a patient player.

Xemnas: does not play video games beyond Candy Crush or Solitaire. You kids and your “Splatoons” or “Bayonettas”, go pick up an old Final Fantasy game smh.

Xigbar: Call of Duty. Fortnite. PUBG. Overwatch. He’s a menace and plays all sorts of FPS games. His sniping abilities IRL translate very well into games. Also likes the Hitman games.

Vexen: Bookworm and civilization manager games. He’s big on Age of Empires and is a top talent within the community. He loves playing as the Vikings or Mayans for competitive play. He’s also made many custom maps.

Zexion: Tower Defense managers and Ace Attorney. He loves deducing the crime or finding the best way to defend his base with the minimum amount of units possible.

Xaldin: He doesn’t play games (lie). He plays romantic visual novels. Plays all kinds of them. Otomes too. He is a lonely man. Also loves cooking games.

Lexaeus: farming games. He just has a fun time playing Story of Seasons. Rune Factory is nice too but he prefers SoS because he loves the farming aspect more.

Demyx: Guitar Hero. No argument. This man did all the crazy achievements and was going at it for days.

Luxord: Yeah yeah solitaire and gambling- have you considered he loves playing the Yakuza games? Well now you do. He loves the games dearly and cherishes them and likes to be the biggest Yakuza on the block. Also yeah, he plays lot of gacha games.

Marluxia: Doesn’t really play video games, but he’d most likely play some horror games with Larxene or town management games.

Larxene: Horror games or multiplayer games where she can troll people. Banned from multiple servers and people refuse to play with her minus Marluxia. Aesthetically though she loves Trish from DMC and thinks Vergil is number one.

You know what?

I will share some of my kh headcanons here(+ some au ability stuff )

Marluxia/Lauriam: when he feels strong emotions flowers bloom from his hair, he also has a unfortunate ability,that everytime he touches something directly with his hands, it starts to rot. Thus he always wears gloves

Larxene/erlena: has different lighting burn marks around her body, and she loves cats but is allergic to them (chirithys dont count). Elrena also like sewing stuff.

Axel/lea: he has( similar to larxene)burn marks around his body

Vanitas: he may be a being of "darkness" but hes actually scared of the dark, dont put him into a completely dark room he will start crying.

Vexen/even: his body is constantly cold, when he isnt wearing his cloak , he wears warm clothing to regulate his body temperature

Zexion/ienzo: he keeps exhausting his body to the extreme, a bad habit ,that he obtained from zexion who never cared about his own well being. Ienzo also used to make small dolls resembling the radiant garden crew(aka his family)

Zexion convinces Vexen to get a 3D printer "for the lab" what are the org's reactions? What do they try to get printed?

Xigbar: "We're printing sex toys."

Lexaeus: "No the fuck we aren't."

It kind of descends into chaos almost immediately, tbh. This is how Zexion convinces Vexen and Xemnas: 1) it will save them trips to the hardware store, 2) everyone can use it for their own purposes so it will pretty much pay for itself over time, 3) it's going to help them keep things in order, 4) it will make everything more efficient and accessible, and 5) he won't ask for anything else ever again.

Of course, number 5 is a complete lie and he won't be using the printer for business purposes 99% of the time, but honestly?? Who cares? It's a good investment.

And to be fair, it really is used for good things. Marluxia makes a few flower pots for his garden and Vexen makes tools for his lab and Xemnas makes a damn organizer for his desk and it's all well and good for a while. Zexion makes some cool bookends; Larxene makes something for the training room. It's all good. It's useful.

But like. There are some that think that the machine isn't living up to its full potential. So Xion and Roxas take it upon themselves to sneak into the lab one night and make a giant statue of a baby cow. No reason. Just because they can and Xion wants one for her room.

Xemnas, pinching the bridge of his nose against an ongoing headache: "Okay, but why a baby cow?"

Xion: "Why NOT a baby cow???"

And now it's a free for all, because Demyx finds out about the baby cow statue and wants to use the printer, which makes Xigbar outraged because he wants to use the printer. So now it's basically, whoever gets to it first gets to use it. If you stop the printer while it's still in production, you get stabbed (Xigbar still has the wound to prove it.)

Some things that may or may not have been printed with the 3D printer without Xemnas or Vexen's approval: a tiny catapult, a popcorn bowl shaped like Axel's head, a triangle block of swiss cheese, a tiny toaster, a replica of Michelangelo's David where the penis has been replaced by an cob of corn, and two dozen miniature rainbow ducks that Xion likes to hide around the castle for people to find randomly.

A few days ago when I was talking to my little sister about Ienzo being a soft-boy in KH3, she headcanons that there will be times where he falls into his Zexion persona because, like me, she doesn’t believe in the idea of former Organization members coming back unscathed. Like surely some of the members had to have developed some sort of trauma, right?

For example: At one point, Ienzo thought of using Sora for the greater good in a way similar to Riku in Chain of Memories, only to snap out of it upon realizing that he’s acting the same way as Zexion. Or another time when Ienzo has “Zexion’s eyes”, Aeleus would get scared and snap him back to reality, and Ienzo would be grateful for that.

Like think of the anime “Death Note” and how Light Yagami’s eyes and attitude changes when he becomes Kira or not, it’s basically that except Ienzo isn’t doing it intentionally and he isn't a murderer.

Now I’m not saying that Ienzo being a soft-boy is a bad thing, in fact I’m far from it, me and my sis were just saying that there had to be some mental and physical repercussions from the decade-long madness, right?

I believe even before Nort showed up Ienzo was a weird child. Like, he was always staring at things that weren’t there, just disappearing without a sound, and standing in the hall at night because he couldn’t sleep. That kind of child behavior.

It was a Friday night tradition to meet up at Vexen's. The man was on call on Saturdays and had made that a strict part of his contract with the hospital since having Zexion.

Vexen was not even always there for the parties that took place at his house.

The backyard had a firepit that Lexaeus and Xaldin had built with Xigbar's supervision.

A grill that everyone had chipped in to get as a father's day gift. Lexaeus and Xaldin took turns using it.

They had discussed a pool but neither Vexen nor Zexion were big on swimming and were happier with the grassed space. They did have a hot tub that sat upon a bricked off area. It was a more recent purchase.

A midlife crisis. Except his midlife crisis was supposedly Marluxia.

Larxene often arrived first for no other reason than she could. She worked as a wedding planner and her schedule was chaotic. She showed up with chips and pretzels and more often than not jello shots because she could.

The backyard was set up with various coolers that were labeled Yes Zexion and No Zexion. The joke would probably still stay even after he was twenty-one.

It was a toss up on when Lexaeus would show. It depended on school and parents and traffic. He taught first grade these days and he had never seen the man be more fulfilled. He brought soda and juice boxes.

Xaldin had the bakery open later on Fridays and brought whatever was left over from the day over. It was a smattering of fruit flavored cupcakes and flower shapped cookies. He always went home to change before coming over. He also brought burgers and portobello mushrooms with him.

Xigbar showed up with his charming personality and a cooler with fish in it. No one was going to question how far he drove to go fishing.

Marluxia arrived with fruit salad and an apologetic kiss about it being late. Vexen was not going to bring up the fact that everyone would be there until morning. Instead he took more kisses.

Demyx rolled in with vegetarian hotdogs and a thankful look to both Xaldin and Xigbar for remembering he was pescatarian.

Zexion kept Lexaeus and Xaldin company by the barbecue. He took up the task of sous chef, cutting up vegetables and getting things from the house. There was a concrete table built next to the babaque that filled with food just as quickly as it was taken.

Vexen refused to let anyone that came over go hungry. Even if he constantly forgot to eat.

They stayed outside well past the sun going down. His fence was hung with white icicle string lights that stayed up year round. Let alone a few stand lights and a bugzapper that was background noise.

Food was securely packed away before they headed inside. A mix match of Pyrex and Tupperware and Chinese Food Containers. Most of the food would stay at Vexen's and help get them through the recharge weekend the two introverts would have.

Vexen liked blankets. It also helped that one of Xaldin's various hobbies was crocheting and his other hobby was teaching Lexaeus his hobbies.

His couch still had the small quilt that they made for Zexion when he first joined the family.

His couch was shoved back while the coffee table and various chairs and lamps were moved against the walls. His floor was quick to become a mess of blankets and pillows and soon limbs.

A movie was put on, the flat-screen that Vexen found obnoxious illuminating his living room. It was nice.

Marluxia sat against him on the outer edge. Even after all of these years Vexen still found it hard to relax fully. Marluxia held one of Larxene's hands.

Zexion was always in the middle. Often times bracketed by Lexaeus and Xaldin. Safe.

Demyx felt the need to touch everyone in one way or another. Limbs all over the place as he laid on top of them.

Heads wound up in crotches.

Feet wound up held hostage to stop them from being in faces.

Spots were moved and lost between bathroom breaks.

It was what they all needed.

The morning was met with everyone's alarms at different times.

Demyx did not remember to turn his off or change them the night before and had no less than ten alarms that went auto snooze. Zexion turned his phone off. He knew he had no where to be until 2pm.

Breakfast was less of an adventure than the night but only just so.

Vexen owned this fancy vertical waffle maker that Xigbar found the most fascinating thing ever. It was also one of the few things he was allowed to touch in the kitchen.

It meant that Xigbar turned Vexen's kitchen into a waffle factory between people waking up and leaving because he certainly had no where better to be. He got out whipped cream and peanut butter and syrup and Zexion walked in to him in the pantry trying to find pie filling.

It was a nice morning after a nice night. But he was ready to curl up in his bed until monday.

i really love your young!ienzo x older sibling!reader reaction, and was wondering how KH3 Ienzo would reaction to seeing the reader again after all the years of him being a nobody?

this is starting to become a series lolol but I’m glad you like it !! I wrote his reaction and some other general headcanons for what would happen after their reunion

here’s part one and part two for those who haven’t read them!

The only reason Ienzo hasn’t left Radiant Garden to seek you out is entirely because of Aeleus and Dilan urging him to stay, to pick up the pieces after becoming whole again - and so, he stays to help Sora, comforted by the promise of your return. Still, he’s afraid that you might never come back or that you moved on without him, all while his head races with all the things he wants to share. Ienzo might’ve spent most of his life with the other apprentices, but you’re the one that raised and properly guided him all those years age. You are family. He holds you in extreme high regards.

His reaction to finally seeing you after all those years is ugly, unlike his brief reunion with Ansem the Wise. Ienzo has definitely spent nights writing down a proper and organized speech, he’s memorized it and practiced over and gone through it a dozen times with the others. But when he hears your voice? When he sees you standing righ there? Ienzo drops whatever he’s holding and practically throws himself into your arms. He hides his face in your shirt and starts blabbering nonsense through tears and sniffs.

Any attempts at showing you that he’s grown and matured are thrown out the window and it’s like you guys are children again. The only thing you can make out is his constant stream of "I’m sorry, I’m so sorry” and “Please, forgive me” - Ienzo apologizes for being part of Xehanort’s plan, for working under Xemnas, for pretty much existing as a Nobody when he should’ve disappeared instead. But you remind him that he was just a child when it all happened and that you’re just so happy to have your baby brother back.

That’s all Ienzo needs - it’s like you’ve granted him permission to cry. The transition from Nobody to... Well, himself, has been extremely hard on him. Getting used to feelings and how to process them when he was never taught how to in the first place is pretty fucking hard. You hold him until he stops crying, and then squeeze and sway him side to side, the same thing you used to do to get him to laugh as children.

He would still try to give you his speech a few days later, once he’s gotten over the initial excitement and emotion of having you back in his life. But for now, you’ll have to deal with a very excited Ienzo - he wants to know what you’ve been up to, if you’ve been okay, as well as explain his new plans for the gummiphone and all the way’s he’s been helping Sora and the rest. Ienzo doesn’t follow you around 24/7 like he used to (he actually runs off to find you so you can be the first one to learn about his breakthroughs or to act as his personal rubber duck buddy when he’s stuck) but whenever he walks with you, chances are he’ll still hold onto the hem of your shirt or sleeve.

Sometimes, Ienzo might slip and address you the same way he used to when he was young, with shortened versions of your name because he had trouble pronouncing the full thing - it’s very embarrassing for him, he’ll apologize and quickly move on, but please don’t point it out, especially if you want him to keep doing it because it’s very cute. If you point it out to him, he’ll stop and then everybody loses. Ienzo is trying so hard to not fall back to those childish habits of his </3

It happens on reverse to, so to speak - there will be days when Ienzo might revert back to that cold, judgemental and quiet side from his days as a Nobody. You might even catch a glimpse of his snarky and downright cruel side, mostly when he goes days working on something without breaks (a nasty habit inherited from Even, deffo). This often causes a lot of arguments between you two, something he comes to regret almost immediately because he’s supposed to be one of the good guys now. He’s supposed to know better now. But when you come back hours later, either acting like nothing wrong happened or to talk things out, Ienzo is so relieved because yeah, this is what family does. Shit like this just happens all the time, it doesn’t mean the end of the world.
