Hey everyone. I'm pretty sure I've been shadowbanned. I cannot currently reply to posts, send or receive messages, or see myself in post notes. My side blog @tangledintexts seems to be working fine, but this, my main, being shadowbanned, means that it's function is still affected. This has been an issue for a couple of months, but I didn't notice it due to being new to Tumblr. I'm currently waiting for a reply to my first time reaching out to Tumblr support (via a Reddit thread for now). If I don't get a reply then I will go directly to Tumblr support. Hopefully I'll be back properly soon!

Hello, everyone! So the next chapter of Tangled In Texts is more about world building than comedy. This is partly due to writer's block, partly because I wanted to convey more on the functioning of the app the characters use to text each other. The corresponders are really starting to take shape in my head now, more than I thought they would when I first started writing this chat fic. This has prompted me to ask some questions.

I don't intend to give up the comedic elements of this fic - it's driving force is still to make myself and others laugh - but I wanted to know what you guys would think of having some more serious chapters? This would serve to move the story forward, allow for character exploration, and convey the inner workings of the system Varian has constructed. I don't plan to add any OCs or characters from other fandoms, but are there characters from the Tangled universe (or VAT7K, which I admit I don't know anything about currently, so they may not appear) that you would like to see? They can be anyone from an established character like Quaid to someone who appears in one frame throughout the entirety of the show. There are some characters who already have at least one confirmed appearance - the brotherhood (Edmund, Quirin, Hector, Adira), Cassandra's father, and I WILL find a way to get Lady Caine in there, but is there anyone else you would enjoy seeing?

I will hopefully be back to writing chapters regularly after Cassandra gets her corresponder back (in every single chapter without her in, she has ended up mentioned - I'm trying to avoid that for this last one without her), since I won't have "avoid your favourite character" on my mind anymore XD

Thanks 😊 people have engaged positively before - there’s just still so many thoughts I haven’t shared due to fear of judgement XD I’m thinking the first step for me might be to cut out the “over” from that tag. It all starts with your thought patterns after all 🩵🩵🩵

Fun fact: my analysis tag specifically says "over analysing" because I'm scared of people telling me I'm looking too deep and to get over it like I was told in the harshest ways as a kid - in my mind, if I say that I'm already over analysing, they have nothing to attack me with because I've already acknowledged that I'm looking too deep. The more I can put myself down, the less can be used by others to put me down and the less likely I'll have to be scared again

So I’m watching Destinies collide to try to find a username for Edmund for @tangledintexts and Hamuel just turned up to fight Pascal and I honestly felt like I was watching a season 7 episode of the smurfs (I think it was season 7 that Gargamel had the bird in at least, can’t remember the bird’s name, except Monty in the lost village, but I’m sure that’s a different bird). I haven’t watched the smurfs in ages so that was an uncanny mix of nostalgia and deja vu lol
