The real good ending for MDZS/The Untamed is that in-canon history remembers Wei Wuxian primarily as an inventor and teacher, and learning about the Yiling Patriarch is like if in history class in middle school or so you found out that Thomas Edison used an early variant of tamed electricity to commit war crimes when he was 17
