Popsicle party. My mental health has been seriously taking a hit the last few months. On top of it, yesterday was two years after I tried unaliving myself, which obviously didn't work, and was a descent into a 7 month breakdown where I could barely leave my house without many tears and panic attacks. Of course, this was also right when the pandemic started,, so it was a equally horrible time for everybody. The cause of this breakdown? I took care of my last cat, Hiram, for over a year until he died in my arms from cancer. And... A buildup of stress, anxiety, and triggers to my complex ptsd. Looking back, I'm damn lucky I wasn't successful. I'm also lucky my Dad watched me like a hawk after that time because those 7 months I thought constantly of getting off this damn planet. In the last year alone I've come farther than I did in my teens and twenties combined. But not without a lot of anxiety and self doubt and depression along the way. I never thought I'd do most of what I've done. Once I finish my ged in June, I'll do every one of my big bucketlist items I thought I was too stupid or scared to accomplish. My mental health is not the best as of late. I can hide it very well most days, even if I have to go into my room to cry it out when I'm off work, or into my works BOH or bathroom to give myself a moment to cry or take deep breaths. Then I'm back, laughing and getting shit done. But its not without pain hidden very well skindeep. My coworkers are the ones who get me through every shift, like yesterday. Night shift got Popsicles from our newcomer, Ashley, and we enjoyed them in the back (thanks, Ash!). Victoria (pictured with me) is one of my work besties and I'm so excited when I get to work with her because we get things done and enjoy each others company. My manager and lead shift trainer are also my work besties and I love when I get rare morning shifts with them. Even though my trip is postponed to early July, I have my mini vacation with @brujaaaaaa To look forward to, which is keeping me going. Two months until we are reunited. Find yourself a good group of people. My vibe got called 'super cool' yesterday by a customer and lemme tell you, I felt awesome all damn day.

My usual look I'm allowed at work; two necklaces (one being my fave choker and the other my bisexual pride necklace), three bracelets (2 on one wrist, one on the other), 4 rings (2 on each hand), earrings as long as they aren't large hoops, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick even though you can't see it unless I take the mask off to get some water haha, and highlighter.
