Dissociative Identity Disorder is so hard to understand. I’m trying to so hard to figure out the right terms to use for the system, the host, and the alters. Switching and co-consciousness and stuff.
I want this book to be accurate and I want it to be good and not romanticizing the disease. But not having the disease myself it’s difficult to understand and navigate. I won’t give up. Camilla will be a well written alter, she will not seem weak, she will not be coddled and she will be functional. I just want to spread positive awareness and write a good novel.

Basic Resources
Let’s start off with some very basic NaNoWriMo resources:
NaNoWriMo website: www.nanowrimo.org
Add the official calendar to your Google Calendar here
Teen Wolf Fandom forum can be found here
Prep Resources (e.g. help on world building, plot and conflict, etc.)
Need help scheduling time for writing? Here’s some help!
Build Your NaNo Emergency Kit from here
Want to add a word-count widget to your blog? Right here!
Remember, the goal is to write 50K. It doesn’t have to be your perfect 50K. All you need to care about is the word count so find your perfect place to write and do just that.
Don’t spend time worrying about the perfect plot, the perfect dialogue, the perfect grammar. All of that will come during the revision stage.
For now, challenge yourself and try to have fun!

So basically, I’m just a day behind on Nano. Because each day I keep hitting the previous days word count. So if I could just find one solid day to write then maybe I could catch up and even get a bit ahead. Crossing my fingers that I don’t hit a block. This book is coming pretty naturally to me so far but I might have to do some additional planning for later chapters so I don’t hit a wall.
I hope everyone’s writing is going well!

Welcome to Teen Wolf NaNoWriMo 2015!
(So maybe this blog is like 2 days late…but let’s ignore that, yes?)
Basically, I figured that since there are writers that participate in NaNo for fandom fics, why not have a blog where we can all keep each other on track, help out for beta-purposes, have sprints, etc.?
Because honestly, NaNo is tough. But NaNo with your friends is kind of wonderful.
If there’s anything you’d like to see on the blog, please let me know!
I’ve never really ran a sideblog for a purpose like this before so I’m kind of figuring things out as it goes along!
