Will you be talking about other lgbtq ships, such as Rolivia?
In the style of our last episode, no. That episode was only meant as a palate cleanser for us in between talking about heavier issues. Our next (and last, at least for a while) SVU episode coming next week will be about the deleted scene from “Flight Risk” and SVU’s response to it, as well as the backlash the videos on representation garnered. We might mention Rolivia, but that episode won’t deal with ships much at all.
But we definitely encourage supporters of the ship to make their own fun episode/video about it! We had so much fun!

To the concerned person who left that message: Hello! Mod Cho actually posted an HTML code from The Days of Tumblr Past that was supposed to make all gifs bordered and clickable so they linked back to their sources. Unfortunately that bit of code is out of date and that didn’t happen. We’re now adding them the old-fashioned way!
Also: given the tone of your message I’m guessing you didn’t realize you forgot to click anon, but don’t worry! We’re not gonna post it.

Episode 2: When Rafael Met Sonny
In this episode, the bros of PCJS tackle the ship phenomenon that is SVU's Barba and Carisi (#Barisi). We wax poetic about our favorite shippy moments, discuss the queer readings of both characters, and talk about Peter Scanavino and Raúl Esparza's heartfelt pleas for queer representation on SVU.
Wanna hear through friends squeal about some of Barisi’s greatest hits together? This week we’re bringing it down and talking about a subject taht makes us happy. We bring up some of our favorite episodes and talk about our own readings for Sonny and Barba.
Did we miss an episode you think we should have talked about? Have your own ideas about Barba and Sonny’s sexuality? Drop a comment and tell us!

Episode 1: The Intent Behind “Intent”
In this episode, the nerds of PCJS discuss the Law & Order: SVU episode "Intent," the SVU fandom's double standards of female empowerment, and Dick Wolf's three-decade-long love affair with heterosexual mediocrity.

in the event this video is removed, it also available on google drive | vimeo
law & order svu is easily my favorite, most loved television show.
it can be difficult to acknowledge the flaws in your favorite things, but addressing the lack of real, substantive, positive, lgbtq representation on this show is long overdue.
I hope you enjoy this video, and if you agree with its message, please like and share. that said, I do want to apologize for the low quality audio, as well as the amateur editing. this was definitely a labor of love and pushed me far outside my comfort zone.
anyway, thank you so much for watching. and a major thank you to all of the people who talked with me about what lgbtq representation in svu means to them. I’m sorry I was unable to include everyone’s responses, but I appreciate you all.

also, please be sure to watch the video made by @booyahkendell  in which she makes a personal and heartfelt appeal for long-overdue lgbtq representation on law & order svu.
edit: I’m a fucking moron and can’t read and said season 13 instead of season 16 at 8:24.
