Rough sketches of the McRooch brothers

First of all, they were from humanoid insect tribe (since they are cockroaches). Mikhael has a straight antennae (unlike Marky who has curly antennae), those brooches that they wore were represent the original roaches.

I'll probably changed their style if necessary, as well as adding their relationship with the other NRC students

dang i haven’t gotten an ask in a while 🤯 thank u! arma’s come a long way! i think all of the designs are very cute ♡ but it’s nice to see how much i’ve improved since the initial concept for him

•i almost made arma a redhead. bc in one comic panel judge doom had it. decided against it bc he’s already wearing sm color + decided on movie accuracy :3

• the eyeballs i think are the most important! judge doom wears fake eyeballs to hide his toon ones! and i would consider him an omniscient character so it’s a cool reference methinks. arma isn’t breathing down ppl’s necks but it’s hard to try and keep something from him. if that even makes any sense lol

(also judge doom eats shit slipping on those eyeballs in that scene. and he had the audacity to tell the weasels not to laugh)

• the dorm uniform is inspired by the toontown cast member uniform from disneyland! i think some of the twst designs are inspired by the tokyo disney villains event so i tried to keep that in mind

• the dorm staff is also inspired by toontown! specifically the street lamps. they just have such a funky design

• the syringes i just thought would be rly cool for some reason? adds some razzle dazzle >:) but they’re actually fashionable and functionable bc they’re ink pens

Go crazy go stupid. That's the two dorms together. They only "dont get along" in a comedy sense. As in, a Piraticus student trying to steal something and Arma wacking them with a squeaky hammer.

But really it's very fun when Piraticus and Toontasma meet! And it's easy to tell by bright and gaudy coloured mob.

Conrad messes less with Arma than he does with Azul, but still likes messing by subtly insinuating some crazy idea that might bring Arma money.

With Sludge, he doesn't take it personally when he has to do his job and kick out his crew. Simply raises his hat in aideu and next time they meet it's back to smiles and jokes.

Tries to be gentlemanly with Vera. Her cool aura mixes well with his own polite distance with women, so they're cordial enough.

Raymond is very endearing and Conrad can't help but lean into a more big-brother role with him, giving advice and cheers. The kid's got promise.

Tink likes Arma's UM. It looks so silly he can't help but laugh from his belly. As long as it isn't directed at him he's cool with Arma tho Tink is broke so he's not as welcome in the dorm.

Takes Sludge's actions personally. What's his deal, acting like a lapdog!? Guys like that piss him off! No, Tink doesn't see the irony.

Actually goes to see some of Vera's performances. Likes her more on stage than when she tells him to "knock off his ego".

Tiny bit jealous when Conrad encourages Raymond. Would pick on him if not for Vera.

Krok doesn't get Arma's obsession with paper money. Gold coins are pretty to look at at least, but paper...? Why would you want to amass that instead of spending it?

Also doesn't take Sludge's stuff personally. The constant grin does kind of get in his nerves when he's "just doing his job".

Likes listening to Vera when following Conrad to Toontasma. It's very calming and he almost falls asleep (complimentary)

Raymond seems nice. Krok has eaten rabbit before, and it was tasty, so he asked if they serve rabbit meat in their lounge. So now it's a little awkward, not that Krok notices.
