I think Charlotte is that type of character who unknowingly is coerced into becoming an avatar specifically if we analyze her relationship with oracle – a corpse of previously almighty entity which currently rots into this poor little girls brain.

Charlotte is an epitome of a "perfect girl" she's nice clean and almost angelic but the corpse of God which infests her brain is slowly corrupting her. plus she's also very loving and caring person to the point of self deprecation. at the end of second episode she literally devoured whole space and time to make her friends a part of herself just to save them (which is one of the core part of Corruption).

to talk about coercion I firstly need to talk about Frei.

Frei is one of my favorite morally ambiguous character ever. he's an Oracle who has taken the form of pythia the remains of which we can meet at the TV world (to understand their story better I reccomend playing hello charlotte)

because Frei is literally a manifestation of a corpse which infested Charlotte's brain Frei corrupts her too but more in a subtle way. there's a lot of parallels between Charlotte and Frei's relationship and a tale of ink and paper princess (which all is about corruption,like how paper princess becomes more and more like ink princess after interacting with her for a long which is a straight up what's relationship between Frei and Charlotte is all about)

anyway the main point is Frei was the one who gave an idea of becoming one whole with a universe to Charlotte when she was at her most vulnerable state. even if it doesn't sound as coercion I would still argue that it wasn't because of Charlotte's willingness and that maybe Frei didn't have any bad motives and just told Charlotte what he thought was the best decision.
