The spy chasing me throws a tracking device at my car. The throw is perfectly timed and the small, round device hits the bumper perfectly flush. However, since the tracker is magnetic and my shitty car is plastic, it bounces off

The Library

The library is a very important room where 1) little Anna does her “tick-tock tick-tock” in front of a grandfather clock 2) Elsa faces the portrait of Agnarr as she prepares for her coronation 3) Evil Hans reveals his true colours and attempts to let Anna freeze to death while locking her in 4) Olaf rescues Anna 5) F2 Charades take place. It also contains interesting things like the fiddles, lute, Heir and the Spare paintings (only in F1), window that Elsa/Hans/Olaf look out of, triangular window. And of course, true to Frozen, there are some continuity errors! 

Anyway, I made this based on multiple screencaps. Here is the library in Frozen 1.

F1 screencaps:

Agnarr’s portrait in relation to the door. There’s a small clock on the table.

Moving to the left, here is the long chair, window (behind curtain) with the cushioned seat, grandfather clock, fiddles on the wall. (There’s also a triangular window here but it’s not the one that I marked on the diagram)

Here is the window again. You can see the chess set behind the long chair.

The view from the window (you can see the town and the bridge ie this window is on the East or “front” side of the castle)

Looking from outside in, this was our first look at grown-up Elsa. Notice that through this window you can see the “Heir” painting and a bit of the fireplace.

Moving left again, now you see THE triangle window (Stained glass), the model ship, the bookshelf with ladder, the chess set next to the long chair.

Here is Anna in front of the triangle window (Stained glass)

Moving left again, now you see the fireplace, 2 paintings (heir and spare) and the two 3-seat chairs. (notice there’s NO door on the left of the fireplace - this will be continuity error in F2, scroll all the way down)

Moving left once more, you can appreciate the relation of the fireplace and the door.

One last F1 screencap showing much of the library. Note the triangular shadow on Anna cast by the triangle (stained glass) window.

Basically, this is a costume rental website for plays and stage shows and what not, they have outfits for several different decades from medieval to the 1980s. LOOK AT THIS SELECTION:

This is probably my 238272638464th time listening to Show Yourself but I’m still in so much awe and I still find my heart skipping a beat or two because of how powerful it is.

I’m so so so so proud of Elsa. I write this while trying not to tear up and it is hard, y’all.

The part where she exclaims “I am found!” always - without fail - gives me goosebumps and this overwhelming sense of catharsis.

Not catharsis for me - but for her.

We’ve seen this character grow and evolve over the years. We’ve watched her as a kid, as an adult, and we saw snippets of her life and her innermost thoughts through shorts, musicals, and even in video games and other mediums where the franchise is involved.

And two things are always consistent when it comes to Elsa’s character:

1. She loves Anna more than life itself.

2. She’s afraid and unsure of herself.

But... that all changes when she sings Show Yourself?

Elsa is actively stepping into the unknown because she wants answers. She’s doing something for herself for once. She’s letting go of her fear of the past, of who she is and what she knows of herself, and she dares to give herself a chance to find clarity, closure, and acceptance. True acceptance.

Acceptance of the past and what had already happened and cannot be changed, acceptance of what’s in front of her and of who she is, and acceptance of the future and the unknown that follows.

And it’s just so amazing because damn it, Elsa deserves this. To see her so free and so loved while also loving herself in the process makes my heart burst like no other.

Show Yourself is everything because:

1. She loves Anna and herself, and she’s no longer questioning whether she deserves that love.

2. She’s no longer afraid of the past, present, and future because she now believes she’s a person worthy of love from others and herself. And with love as your guiding force, you can do anything.

Found.

Oh yeah, a little fun fact:

Iduna’s part where she sings “YOU are the one you’ve been waiting for all of your life...” is the scene where I truly crumble and cry. Each and every time I hear it. Always.
