Pretty sure I’m like 9 months late to seeing this, but I doubt it. S&S seemed to have been replaced with Bandit in BL2, SCAV in TPS, and COV in BL3.

Borderlands Collection Pandora's Box - And other news from the Borderlands

Where to start. I suppose more than anything this is an info dump, that most of you have seen anyways. So the Borderlands Collection Pandora's Box is THE Borderlands bundle. You get BL1, BL2, BL3, BLTPS, TFTB, and NTFBL in one bundle for a great price. Plus! If you own at least one of the bundled games, you can buy the whole bundle for something like $30 bucks? I don't know, crazy stuff.

Borderlands 3 is coming to Nintendo Switch in October! I can't help but laugh at this I must admit. I love the Switch. It's my go to console these days due to how busy I am. So a convenient, handheld system is perfect for me. And BL3 is my favorite title to play in the franchise! But I think my Switch will melt in my hands if I run BL3. Guess we'll see. I'll buy it.

Golden & Diamond Key Giveaways. Legendary Weapons Giveaways. That's pretty much it for that one. All via SHIFT but I didn't look too much into this simply because that's... less exciting news in my opinion.

Borderlands 3 Villains Cosmetics are now available in BL3 at any Quick Change Station!

Echoes From The Borderlands is a "behind-the-scenes" development podcast that is live now with Episode / Season 1. It seems like Episode 1 is focused primarily on the conception of Borderlands from a development standpoint, and more specifically Borderlands 1.

The Worlds of Borderlands encyclopedia / book had a couple release date delays, and the current release date is standing at September 19th.

So there it is. I may have missed some things. Like the Loot the Universe Remix event for BL3 as well as a light patch / update to BL3. What is coming down the line? It's been radio silent for so long and then this absolute dump of information. Things are coming Vault Hunter... are you ready?

Borderlands & Blog Thoughts...

Seems as though we are in a bit of lull with content these days! I have yet to finish up New Tales From The Borderlands... The story just didn't quite grab me. I may try to watch a condensed version on YouTube just to get the gist of it at this point.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands was such a fun first play through, it's just unfortunate that the Devs didn't quite put the same effort that they put into Borderlands 3 post launch (although I can't say I am all that surprised by this). Keeping with Wonderlands, I actually never quite finished the DLC for this. I'm not sure I even finished the first one because it was just more Chaos Chamber, which was already feeling tired seeing as that was the only Endgame. All in all, Wonderlands ended up being a bit of a disappointment, but hopefully it's getting renewed interested with the recently launched Wonderlands Redux (PC) mod.

So what is the future of Borderlands? I have to imagine that Borderlands 4 is probably pretty deep in development at this point. I vaguely remember Gearbox possibly hinting at a continuation of the Wonderlands stuff with a second game there at some point. With us just coming off of the release of NTFTB, the development cycle for Wonderlands seemingly over, where does that leave us? There's still no additional information on The Worlds of Borderlands book (9781506720494) but I am keeping an eye on that because I suspect I will have more information on that soon. After the book, I'd have to say we can probably expect the Borderlands Movie to be the next Borderlands-esque thing to look forward to.

I find very little time to play video games anymore. Graduated. Working full time. Girlfriend and I moved in together. But I will hop on here every so often to share some thoughts or developments in the world of Borderlands.

My brother and his boyfriend are playing Borderlands 3 for the first time! My brother has never played a BL game and his boyfriend played BL2 back when it came out. I am very excited.

Hades / Hades 2 / Blog Update

Not really on here anymore. Haven't played Borderlands in quite a bit of time as well. So this is just me popping on to say that I have been playing a shitload of Hades and finally feel like I'm wrapping up the game. Can't wait for Hades 2.

Fun Fact - Borderlands 3: On a new profile (No Guardian Rank, and Vault Card at Level 0 with a fresh character), by the time you reach max level you should have received enough xp for 10 Vault Card Chests.

In Case You Missed It…

During the story mission Footsteps of Giants when you meet Typhon at the Vault on the map Tazendeer Ruins (when you first receive the Eridian Fabricator) the location is called Vault of the Serpent.

Before entering the Vault of the Serpent, Typhon briefly recounts defeating the Vault Monster.

If you look up before entering the Vault, you can see the dead Vault Monster, hanging from the ceiling (Image 2).
