On this year women's day, all we could think about are Palestinian women in Gaza.
Tumblr media
Nearly 9,000 women have been killed in Israeli attacks in five months. Another 2,100 are missing and presumed dead, while 23,000 have been wounded and over half a million are displaced.
“Palestinian women, especially in the Gaza Strip, are exposed to the worst humanitarian catastrophe,” Ashraf al-Qudra, the health ministry’s spokesperson, said on Thursday.
Dozens of women and girls have also been detained and face harsh conditions in Israeli custody, including sexual abuse.
Women in Gaza also struggle to find menstruation products and access the necessary pregnancy and post-natal care. The consequences on reproductive health, including a rise in stress-induced miscarriages, stillbirths and premature births, have increased significantly.
Women in labour are undergoing caesarean procedures without anaesthetics, and a shortage of post-operative care such as medication, antibiotics and pain relief further exacerbates the situation.
According to the health ministry, 5,000 women give birth monthly in Gaza under “harsh, unsafe and unhealthy” conditions caused by Israeli bombing and displacement.
There are 60,000 pregnant women in Gaza suffering from “malnutrition, dehydration and lack of medical care.
There have also been repeated cases of Israeli soldiers mocking Palestinian women by posting videos and pictures of themselves rummaging through personal belongings in Gaza homes, making derogatory comments and posing with women’s underwear.

This is Rafah, The "safe" zone, where 1.5 million Palestinian fled to. You have to understand, what bombing Rafah means.
Please don't look away, while everybody is busy watching the super bowl, Israel commits one of its most deadly and openly genocidal attacks on Rafah. Please don't look away.

Source: Defence for children international - Palestine.
Israeli occupation forces unleashed a military attack dog on a four-year-old Palestinian boy in the northern occupied West Bank this week.
The incident occurred during an arrest operation in Balata refugee camp near Nablus on February 4. The dog was unleashed into the Hashash family apartment, attacking 4-year-old Ibrahim Hashash after knocking him from his mother’s arms.
The dog tore his clothes and bit him repeatedly, causing profuse bleeding for about three minutes until Israeli forces intervened.
Ibrahim has been taken to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus, where he’s expected to receive plastic surgery to repair his injuries.
“Israeli forces routinely show complete disregard, and often contempt, for Palestinian children’s lives and safety. In a hyper-militarized environment where systemic impunity is the norm, kids like Ibrahim will increasingly be targets,” said Ayed Abu Eqtaish, accountability program director at DCIP.
Israeli forces systematically use military dogs to attack Palestinian civilians, including children, during military incursions into Palestinian cities and towns.
I just want to add, what could a child seriously do to the heavily armed soldiers in the West bank?? They're just doing this to fulfill sick and twisted fantasies and horrors.

Unfortunately there has been no updates at all about Hind or the two men sent to rescue her. It's been days, Hind's relatives made an interview with Aljazeera and they're pleading to know the fate of Hind as well as wanting to bury their family's bodies properly.
Please, keep Hind in your thoughts. Don't let her story pass you by we have to know what happened to her, where is she? Where is the red crescent team sent to help her and why have we completely lost contact with them?
Remember the 6 year old girl who was surrounded by Israeli tanks and the red crescent couldn't reach her? Her name is Hind Hamadeh. Here you can hear the phone call her 15 year old sister, Layan Hamadeh, made with the medics. She was killed exactly a moment later including all people in the car, except for 6 year old Hind who was stuck in the car with the dead bodies of her family, Israeli tanks and IDF surrounding her, shooting, preventing anybody to reach her.
That was last night (29.1.24). Today, still nothing. The fate of Hind remains unknown.
palestine red crescent ambulance team went to rescue her yesterday evening, but they have not returned as of now. We lost contact with them about 18 hours ago, and we still remain unaware of their fate and whether they succeeded in evacuating her or not.
Please, share Hind's story as much as you can on any platform. We need to know what happened to her. Put yourself in her place, how terrified she must be. Don't scroll past this.

Hello, a little rant here. I don't know whether people are becoming insensitive or I'm just taking things very seriously these times, but I beg of you, when I post about an update on the situation in Gaza, or about a lost life or any piece of news that is most likely horrifying and heartbreaking, do not repost or reblog with "yikes" or "real bullshit" or whatever goes in the same line. It just makes it seem so trivial when in fact it's world-shattering. Not to mention the horrible edits I see on Instagram/tiktok.
I literally came across an "Instagram reel" of my friend's UNCLE (who lost three of his kids, and was saying his goodbyes while they were in body bags), it was edited into a reel, with the effects and changing colors and the trending sound of the song "daylight by David kushner". I was speechless.
I know people show their solidarity differently, I know this. Especially through music, I've literally been listening to Samer songs as well as "Telk Qadieah", etc. But the edit I saw was way too much. I don't know how to explain it, because I've seen many reels of Palestinians in Gaza grieving and I thought it's important to share them but this one is different. It was like the edits you'd make for characters from a TV show or movie that died or had a sad storyline.
I don't know, maybe I'm overreacting but I genuinely feel like I'm going crazy. With everything going on and how it seems like some people are living in a parallel world rn.
I hope I don't get misunderstood, I'm not talking about the general clips with sometimes sad songs on them, I'm talking about certain edits the people started to make that are so weird and insensitive. Like the people they're editing aren't real, like they're some entertainment material.

The red crescent operative shared the last piece of communication they had with Hind, after her 15 year old sister [layan] was killed. The operative said they remained on call for three hours with Hind while they sent a team to rescue her. Then they lost all means of communication with Hind, and the team sent. It's been more than 70 hours. These are 6 year old Hind's last words before we lost connection. Her fate and the team remains unknown. Raise the Hashtag on every platform: Where is Hind?
Tumblr media
Remember that Hind was in a car with other 5 members of her family, one of which her sister, layan who called the red crescent pleading for help, saying their car is surrounded by Israeli tanks. Layan got shot and killed while on call. The whole family has been killed except for little Hind, please help any way you can. Imagine being 6 years old, stuck in a vehicle with the bodies of your dead family, surrounded by military tanks shooting. Where is Hind? What happened to the rescue team?

it actually hurt reading this update. civilians claim they found a minimum of 30 bodies near the hamad school in northern gaza, with both of their legs and hands tied, their eyes blindfolded. they were already in a state of decomposition. presumably they were tortured and killed, then dumped into a mass grave with no one the wiser. this is cannot be any more blatant of a war crime, but still no authority—be it the ICJ or otherwise—is truly stepping it to put an end to israel’s blatant genocide of palestinians. to top it off, if israeli officers do realize detainees, they do so in the most humiliating way possible. the same al jazeera article mentions that any palestinian detainees released were released in underwear. literally just underwear. no other clothes on. it’s insane how committed they are to ensuring that every act is an act of dehumanization. i am genuinely sick to the bone of anyone who has the gal to see all these atrocities and still have the nerve to say that this is not a genocide in live time.

I'm never forgetting the Palestinian babies that were left to starve to death then rot in their beds by the IOF.
I'm never forgetting the Palestinian doctors surrounded by bodies of dead children begging the world to stop the slaughter.
I'm never forgetting the Palestinian children who held a press conference in English to beg the world to stop murdering them because they want to live.
I'm never forgetting the Palestinian Priest who said "We will not accept your apology after the genocide" to the world.
I'm never forgetting the Palestinian Imam who used the speakers of the Mosque, not to call people to prayer but to call out to God while the world around them was burning from American supplied Israeli bombs.
I'm never forgetting the grandfather who held his dead grandchild in his arms. Or the father carrying the remains of his two children in plastic shopping bags. Or the mother holding her dead child in a shroud. Or the father sitting among the rubble after he lost his whole family. Or the girl trapped under a broken building begging for people to save her family first. Or the boy who cried when he saw his brother alive. Or the girl who asked if she was still alive after being pulled from the rubble. Or the boy who carried the remains of his brother in his backpack. Or the old man the IOF used for a photoshoot before they shot him dead after getting pictures. Or the little boy wearing plastic gloves to pick up the remains of his family. Or the graves desecrated. Or the body of that small baby girl left alone in a tent because no one knew who she was or if her family was alive, small and alone and not one person who knew her name to bury her. Or the young boy who was shot in the street while his sister watched from the window. Or the men and boys who were stripped naked in winter. Or those tortured. Or those made to stand in open graves. Or the people who were raped by IOF soldiers. Or Palestinian workers kidnapped by the IOF and then labeled with wristbands, each one reduced to a number, then made to walk back to Gaza to be killed in the world's largest open air concentration camp. Or the people of Gaza starving because Israeli Zionists are blocking aid trucks. Or the Israelis dancing and celebrating the death of Palestinians. Or the lies spread by Zionists and their supporters. Or the people profiting off the oppression and deaths of Palestinians. Or the people of the West Bank being killed or kidnapped by the IOF. Or old woman who was older than the creation of the terror state of "Israel" who was shot by snipers for saying that. Or the Israelis dressed up as Palestinians to enter a hospital and kill three Palestinians in their beds. Or every single Palestinian currently kept in an Israeli prison. Or the journalists, doctors, poets, men, women, children, and the unborn all massacred. Or the fact that WCNSF exists now. Or the woman who refused to wash the blood from her hands. Or the dead, unburied and unmourned.
I'm never forgetting those who chose silence in the face of a genocide.
I may not know all their names but I will not forget the over 30,000 Palestinians dead. Or the over 60, 000 people hurt. Or the unknown number of people missing, still lost under the rubble. Or the 12,000 children slaughtered. An entire generation crippled or murdered.
I will never forget these things when Palestine is free.

A little girl in gaza sits under the heavy rain so she could sell some stuff to feed her family. I want everybody to keep in mind that it's winter and it's extremely cold in gaza. Most people have no homes, no warm clothes, aid isn't getting in. To be under a tent is a luxury especially for the displaced Palestinians. This has to stop.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) says the seven-year-old girl in Gaza is surrounded by Israeli tanks inside her family's vehicle, which was targeted several hours ago.
Everyone inside the car - her father and four siblings - have been killed," the PRCS says.
"Our teams continue to communicate with the girl to calm her down, especially since the family was fired upon while contacting emergency services for help.
"Meanwhile, ambulances are still unable to reach the location, as the occupation considers it a closed military zone, targeting anyone attempting to move into the area."
Today and last night were filled with heavy bombardment. One person from gaza described it as "you'd think it's the first day of this was from the heaviness of the shelling on us". 215 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza in less than 24 hours. Do not get tired or bored, the genocide is going on as badly as ever. Put yourself in the place of this 7 year old girl, having just watched her entire family get killed, being injured and most definitely terrified, yet still surrounded by tanks and soldiers who prevent any help to reach.

Jamal Al-kafarnah, 5 months old baby, died out of hunger. Genocide via Starvation is a real thing.
The Israeli people holding protests at the border refusing aid trucks to enter need to take a look at what they're protesting for. Although aid trucks weren't entering at all even before the protests, they stay put outside of the border for weeks, maybe months.

I always do my best to not discuss anything with zionists who refuse to see reason, but here:
Yes, hamas rejected a truce deal before you know why? Because it wasn't a "truce", it was just a "Pause". And we've seen how that went before, you can't pause a genocide and you can't expect people to be grateful because you stopped bombing them for 4 days but still killed them in other methods. Hamas made it very clear that any truce deal involving releasing all hostages should be met with an inevitable end to the aggression and genocide on gaza, and that's the least they can demand. Even hostages families are demanding and pleading Netanyahu for this, so what's your point? Do you think you know better just because you're obsessed with turning every single piece of news about hamas? It's been long proved what Netanyahu's intentions are and it's not the safety or protection of civilians at all. As long as it means killing and annihilating Palestinians, he couldn't care less about israeli hostages or their families.
Tumblr media
It was never about retrieving the hostages or protecting anyone. After more than 105 days of Genocide, this should've been clear.

I'm sorry for the cruelty of this picture, but I couldn't see Amina and not share her story. Trigger warning: eye injury (bloody eyes).
Amina Ghanem, 13 years old, says: We were sleeping and we heard the sound of tanks when they came and walked over the caravan in which I, my father and my siblings lived. The tank squeezed us inside the tin all night, and we were ran over, until the morning. And when they finally let us out, I found that my father and my little sister have been killed. Now we've been brought here.
She tells her story in this video with her little brother beside her. They're all on their own. Their mother is outside of Gaza and cannot get in or get them out. They have no way of communication, their father and sister are killed.
The eyewitness of Genocide.
