I think what you're asking is if some sort of mechanical thing could be constructed to make it easier to cast magic on an individual level, correct? Theoretically, I feel like it would be possible, but there's a few problems (both in the world and narratively speaking):
Knowledge about magic is generally kept on the down low because many people try to seek out magic as an easy solution to their problems, when in fact it is just as likely to make their lives a whole lot worse. Using magic is often not worth the cost you have to pay to achieve your goals.
Thus, even when trying to be more efficient about magic usage, depending on the outcome you want to achieve, you will still have to 'give' something to achieve it. For example, if you're bringing someone back from the dead, you'll likely have to offer someone else's life--or your own.
On a metatextual level, magic is intended to be difficult and limited on an individual level to facilitate the story's themes about exploitation, and how those at the top only achieved their status through the suffering of others. So I feel that it would undermine the story if such a thing was able to be made. Maybe in a more optimistic, less cynical world than this one....
I hope this explanation makes some sense!
Put together a little graphic explaining the magic in my supernatural noir story, Deathsense! Additional info I couldn't fit detailed below:
Arcane energy is naturally regenerated slowly over time, with things like eating healthy meals and getting proper sleep aiding in the process.
Humans can’t just generate arcane energy infinitely–when you hit your cap, you can’t exceed that limit through natural means. It’s like you can’t just sleep for a whole day to gain endless energy.
You can train yourself to use magic more efficiently/extend your ability to regenerate magic, but you can’t just become infinitely more powerful. As an analogy, you can train yourself to lift 300lbs–or even deadlift 1000lbs if you’re an Olympic athlete–but there is no way in hell you will be able to lift a blue whale by yourself. And if you DO somehow manage to lift a blue whale you are going to permanently damage your muscles and skeletal structure. And get crushed.
There’s a fringe theory that the paranormal entities known as ‘demons’ are actually just humans from a long, long time ago that managed to amass enough magical energy through exploitation that they were able to “possess” other people to continue their lifespans and ongoing exploitation. Over time, these “demons” grew further and further away from their humanity as they hopped from body to body, amassing great amounts of power. Believers in this theory draw comparisons to the fact that both demons and ghosts can possess things. But it’s not like the demons will tell us if the theory is true.

wanted to cobble together a short video on my OC's voiceclaims! The voices aren't exactly 1:1, but are kind of in the ballpark of what I imagine my character's voices are like.
I sat on this video for a while because I really struggled with finding a good sample for Nick, but I found something that I feel works well for him!
