idk how it went tbh - some bits I think I did good and some bits were quite meh. I was pretty nervous and had some technical difficulties which didn't help my composure I'm not sure if I want to go with that supervisor or the project tbh so I won't be heartbroken if I don't get it! I'm glad I did it! Made a presentation that I can use again. I know what to expect next time and will keep my eye out for good projects and consider applying to more （*＾-＾*）

unsung benefit i think a lot of ppl are sleeping on with using the public library is that i think its a great replacement for the dopamine hit some ppl get from online shopping. it kind of fills that niche of reserving something that you then get to anticipate the arrival of and enjoy when it arrives, but without like, the waste and the money.

A look at molecular plant biology up close… here I demonstrate the importance of labelling samples with my rainbow 🌈 Sharpies. 

This is a lab protocol for extracting mRNA from plant tissue. The difference colours represent different treatments - namely how many aphids were on the plant and for how long. 

The goal of this experiment is to test how gene expression differs in resistant versus susceptible host plants. This may help determine which genes are key to the successful plant defence response.
