I'm honored to get to provide "day 6" of the calander!

Insert 7.5 k words of fluff (and a bit of hurt/comfort because it's me y'all, what did you expect?) Based on the prompt: Santa hat (it got out of hand, i know, but I'm not about it).

Did o stay up.till 2am so ao3 would allow me to change the date to dec 6th? Yes. Do I have a little bit of a busy day (and late swimpractice) and regret this? Yes. Would I do it again? Obviously

i read almost this entire book after swim practice tgis evening. I've never read a book in a day amd somehow i tead this inone evening? It's 3:30 and I'm wide awake and traumatized. Why did i do this to myself. Don't let the cover fool you this is horror.

Not my dumb ass thinking this would be a fun read like the murder mystery's from karen mc.manus and the a good girl's guide to murder series. I'm not going to spoil anything but i'm heartbroken and traumatized😭😂

I will admit that I for once actually did not see the plottwists coming (there were so many) and it had some really good quotes and i absolutely loved wes and eli.

2⭐ on goodreads: there were so many plot holes (I hate that so much) and that ending made me want to rewrite the whole book💀😂. Plus i'm heartbroken because of SPOILER so i can't find it in myself to give this book more than two stars even though it was well written.

I like reading murder mystery (especially with a romance trope) but this reminded me why i've never watched a horror movie or read a horror book. I'm not a horror girly that's obvious now🤣 (seriously it was too graphic for me and that ending!!!)

But his brain seems to have chosen this exact moment to go on vacation. All he has to say is a simple, "yes", how hard could that possibly be? The answer is very. When Henry clears his throat again, takes another deep breath, and gets ready to say yes, he's suddenly hit by the realization that he's been silent for much longer than could possibly be considered socially acceptable. Christ, I can't do this, he anxiously thinks to himself while still busy deciding on the least creepy way to break the silence and agree to the man's request for a drink. But then the man, who had been patiently waiting with a soft smile on his face scoffs and glares at Henry, mumbling something like "dick" and walking away looking offended and disappointed. It's then that Henry realizes to his own horror, that he'd said "Christ I can't do this", out loud.

Alex looks around for the fourth time to make sure that they won't be overheard and then he launches himself in the chair next to Nora in an empty corner of the coffee bar.

"Okay so... is it just me or are you also getting serious serial killer vibes from Henry?" He whispers half hysterical.

Nora doesn't choke on her coffee but it's a near thing.

"Oh my god! Is this why you texted me an SOS message and told me to come meet you for coffee at ridiculous o'clock in the morning because you had something important to discuss?

Alex nods while taking a sip of his 3rd cup of coffee of the day, before 8 a.m., which is insane, he's well aware, but ever since he overheard a suspicious phone call from Henry last night he has been too worked up to close his eyes, let alone sleep.

Nora's laugh brings him back to reality.

"Henry? Please tell me you're not talking about your Henry. The man you've been in a healthy, happy, committed relationship with for 5 years.'

Alex hums. 'Exactly. He's committed. Committed to me. Committed to murdering. It's a pattern."

"OH MY GOD ALEJANDRO HOW SLEEP DEPRIVED AND HUNG OVER ARE YOU?" Nora yells while laughing.

Alex rolls his eyes at her. "Okay look, I will admit that I was drunk when I overheard the suspicious phone call, in which I'm 99% sure I heard Henry confessing to murder, but I'm not drunk now and I'm still convinced he's a serial killer. And before you look at me like that, I know this sounds insane, obviously, I know that... I'm not stupid. But I've got evidence okay? I even made a list in my notebook with reasons and it's a long list."

These violent delights - Rated E - 14,110 words There's an empty corner near the back of the shop, and he tucks himself in. Perhaps he's waiting for his target to walk into the cafe — it wouldn't be the first time.

Suddenly, as though a hand has reached out and yanked on his hair, Henry's gaze is lifted and he knows it's who his Senses have been telling him to find. Sitting at the table across from Henry, sinfully long eyelashes lowered as he focuses on the pile of papers in front of him is the most devastatingly beautiful man Henry has ever seen.

It's such a shame he has to kill him.

Henry is a vampire hunter, with a very intriguing target.

“Is this really doing something for you, love?” Henry’s voice has a taunting lilt when he says it, but his fingers on Alex’s hips dig in just a fraction tighter.

A scoff works out of Alex’s throat, and he rolls his eyes. “You wish.” —

Or, Henry dresses as a vampire for Halloween. Alex pretends it isn’t hot. Henry decides to bite him until Alex admits it is.

He didn’t think he’d ever quite get used to Alex’s wit, his sheer audacity to taunt and pick at him. But Henry was sure he never wanted to, anyway. He loved that that audacity snuck through the cracks of following orders, and waiting in positions. In between the begging, and Alex only ever finishing with permission dripping from Henry’s lips, it was still there. And Christ, if it wasn’t the single-most precious thing Henry had been gifted the honor of experiencing.

“Hi dad,” Henry says softly, taking another look at the picture of his father, smiling at the camera. “I missed you.”

It’s probably, like, the latent guilt Alex feels for the repercussions this will have on his mom’s approval rating even though the whole thing is objectively stupid and people will forget about it in a week.”

He even had the costumes custom made for them. And maybe he requested for Henry’s jeans to be a little tighter than the original ones, whatever. He is allowed.

Alex was taking the path of least resistance, accepting that whatever remained after all was stripped away must be the truth. June could laugh at him for the rest of time if she wanted. He was right. He knew he was right. He had to be right because nothing else on earth or in the universe made sense.

Henry Fox — his smarmy, entitled, wealthy, bland, irritating neighbor — was a vampire.

Alex knew it. He could prove it.

Because I’m A Scoundrel - Rated E - 8,368 words Alex Claremont-Diaz has exactly thirty minutes to make himself look as slutty as possible for this Halloween Gala.
