I got out of my car this evening, away from the offices and the noise of traffic and just walked. Until I could truly feel the earth beneath my feet, hear my breath, the silence of nature and notice the colors around me. I walked on and on until I heard the sound of water and then I stopped, reconnected and brought myself back to gratitude, presence and connection. I realized that beauty is always right in front of us but sometimes it takes stepping away from what we think needs to get done and just opening up to the present moment. My morning prayer of gratitude to all of the magnificent sunrises and sunsets I’ve seen and felt here this summer. I just arrived in NYC and am boarding another flight here in a few minutes..... heading back after the most magical summer ever in the south of france. I’m bringing home with me a full heart, an evolved soul and the knowledge that it is absolutely and truly possible to create the life of your dreams. I’m so grateful that I trusted my intuition and followed my heart. I’ve walked through every door that has opened for me each and every day this summer and lived in a daily space of love and gratitude for the beauty I experienced spending time by the sea and out in nature. I’m a different person than I was when I left last May. I’ve learned that it’s up to us to consciously create lives that are unique, important and meaningful to who we are..... to our core values and the dreams we hold buried deep within us. I’ve realized that we can truly make a difference and inspire others to do the same — to build a life where we can wake up every morning and fall more in love with the world, others and ourselves day after day after day. It requires taking risks, facing fear, living with uncertainty, trusting in the unknown and running towards the things, the places and the people that make you feel alive. I’ve left so many pieces of my heart in france but I’ve opened up the space for so much more. Life goes on, change is constant, my tears fall like November rain while my heart explodes with love and sunshine.
