I had so much fun creating this piece celebrating the plethora of dandelions in my garden. I hope it brings its new owner as much joy as it's brought me!

Dandelions are underappreciated. They are food for humans and pollinators--and the leaf prints are just gorgeous. This piece is part botanical prints, part illustration.

Creating community around artmaking has been a dream of mine since 2020. When we were all separated, making art in our own homes but not able to see each other, I missed chilling and making art with my friends. These so-called "art hangs" are such an important part of my creative practice and my friendships. I created this Discord so that we can be together, even across distances.

Where does honey come from? 11x14". Watercolor, colored pencil, ink. 2023.

This original piece is now available in my online shop. I spent 30+ hours on this, layering skin tones, finding just the right colors to make the honey ooey-gooey, painstakingly painting in little bee feets. I am so proud of this piece and I can't wait for it to find the right home.
