I feel bad I didn't post this sooner!

Last week a story of mine, "Here or Anywhere," was posted on the Rose Books hotline. This is a very cool new press founded by Chelsea Hodson which, in addition to publishing some great books, runs audio stories you can call in to hear every week. My story went up last Tuesday and will be up until tomorrow afternoon (I think 12pm EST?)

Wow okay as of 9am we're approaching 60k write-ins votes, now we're looking at tying Dean Phillips' numbers which puts the total Not-Biden vote at nearly 15%, which is basically the national average at this point.

Nikki Haley pulled about 15% and she's not even running anymore. At this point both parties are in a race to the bottom to see who can manage to just *not lose*. If Biden can't find an October surprise on Trump or his legal cases don't go anywhere, maybeee he forcefully says ceasefire or says we won't be sending any more money without *looking into* conditions. Then if he wins they say, "okay we looked into and it's fine to send more money after all!"

We'll see

PA primary day:

Summer Lee easily wins her primary, that's a positive thing. At least 13,000 write-in votes were counted as of 11pm; have to imagine the vast majority of those are for Uncommitted. It's a notable uptick from 2020 to have so many write-ins, but it sounds like it will top out at 1% total votes. Add Dean Phillips in, the total Not-Biden vote is less than 10% but certainly enough to scare Biden as PA is a purple state now. Lost in 2016, won in 2020 by less than 2%.

I don't know where this all leads. I feel like I can see where the wind is blowing but it's impossible to know just how many people are leaning against it.
