There‘s a passage in the Good Omens book that cracked me up imagining it:

“But after we win life will be better!" croaked the angel.

“But it won't be as interesting. Look, you know I'm right. You'd be as happy with a harp as I'd be with a pitchfork."

So the Good Omens book states the following:

“Contrary to popular belief, the wings of demons are the same as the wings of angels, although they’re often better groomed.“

And I can just see Crowley being exasperated with the state of Aziraphales wings and grooming them for him 😂
